Hosts Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts guide you through the films offering our opinions and insight - but mostly opinions - about what we found hair raising, hilarious and downright haunting. Is a franchise a blessing or a burden? Running Scared co-hosts Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts take apart the latest edition in the Exorcist franchise and look at how it echoed and subverted the original classic film from 1973. It gets heated between Rob and Jamie when we ask the big questions. Was scripted racial tension edited out of the final cut? Did the opening scene echo the original or subvert it? Do our expectations bog down our read of this film, or are we looking for fan service? Does Priest "Wild Thing" Vaughn save the day in the ninth inning? Or does it take a community of spiritual healers to take on Panzuzu? Why does Rob keep calling him Panzu and Blumhouse "Bloom house"? All will be answered but you must choose to listen!
