Alan has won numerous awards for his work as a children’s book illustrator as well as for design and computer animation. Brian Bolland  is a British comics artist. Best known in the United Kingdom as one of the Judge Dredd artists for British comics anthology 2000 AD, he spearheaded the 'British Invasion' of the American comics industry, and  illustrated the critically acclaimed 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke, an origin story for Batman supervillain the Joker, with writer Alan Moore. 

David Leach is a comics writer, colourist and editor who has worked for Titan Comics, Panini, Marvel UK, IPC and Rebellion. His credits include Doctor Who, strips in Oink! and Whizzer and Chips, and work for newspapers including The Sun. 

Dean Friedman is an American singer-songwriter who plays piano, keyboard, guitar, and harmonica.

I write contemporary rom coms and women’s fiction under the names Jeevani Charika and Rhoda Baxter.

Back in the early 2000s, when I commuted into London every day, I read romance novels and wished there were more books about women like me, who wouldn’t know a designer shoe if it came and bit me.

Besides which, where were all the nice men? The sort that rely on wit and charm rather than money and biceps.

I now write the sort of books I wanted to read … and am lucky enough to find publishers who want to publish them!

Jessica Martin is a well-known leading actress, comic artist and writer. John Chalmers and Sandra Marrs, also known as Metaphrog, are an award-winning author and illustrator duo, creators of children’s graphic novels and kids comics.

I am an actress, comedian, writer and deviser with training from The Brit School and Arts Educational Schools, London. I grew up in East Grinstead and from an early age, loved performing and being silly but I never took it that seriously, until a friend of mine said he got into The Brit School while in a languages class and I immediately became jealous and wanted to go with him… Sometimes I wonder what it would be like not living on a whim like that!

I also came to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024 with my first solo show! 

Nigel Auchterlounie is a British comic artist and cartoonist. In November 2012, Auchterlounie became the writer of Dennis the Menace and Gnasher as well as the writer/artist for Pup Parade for The Beano. Nigel currently writes Dennis the Menace and Gnasher in the weekly comic. He also wrote for the strip in the Dennis the Menace and Gnasher Megazine. Nigel both writes and draws The Numskulls.

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My first taste of artistic praise came in primary school when I sketched a deep-sea diver, complete with goggles, breathing apparatus, and seaweed (of course!). That drawing earned me the title of “Seaweed Specialist.”

Susan Murray has emerged as one of the best female stand-ups in the UK and was the first ever woman to MC 'Decompression Gigs' for the British Army. She was Winner of the first ever Jongleurs Competition and a seasoned regular on the circuit.

Wil Hodgson is a non-binary English comedian. They have lived in Chippenham their whole life and began performing comedy in 2003. Prior to this, they had worked part-time as a lecturer at Wiltshire College and had a stint training to be a wrestler during which they participated in 30-man "Battle Royals".

Hodgson is known for their fast and almost monotone delivery which, along with their bizarre persona, has been known to divide audiences.they are also known for their bright pink hair (until recently, a mohican) and their love of 1980s toys such as Care Bears and My Little Pony
