In this first episode I'll introduce you to the original details in the murder case of my cousin Debbie Carter in Ada, Oklahoma. National attention was brought to Debbie's case when John Grisham published his only non-fiction book, The Innocent Man; based on one of the men originally convicted and later found innocent of that crime. Debbie's case gained wide spread notoriety when Mr. Grisham's book was turned into a Netflix original docuseries, The Innocent Man. Though, much of Debbie's story and my quest for accountability and truth has never been told, until now.
