222. You Don’t Have to Do It All: What Ruth and the Proverbs 31 Woman Taught Me
Hey friend — today’s episode is straight from the heart. 💛
In my recent Bible study, we were reading about the Proverbs 31 woman and Ruth 3:1–13 (NLT), and something clicked for me in a new way. I always used to see the Proverbs 31 woman as this superwoman I could never live up to. But then we looked at Ruth — a single, poor woman working in the fields — and I realized... she was also called “virtuous.” She didn’t have it all together, and yet she was still seen as wise, strong, and worthy.
That reminded me (and maybe it’s a reminder you need too) - You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do the next faithful thing.
This isn’t a lesson or a checklist. It’s just me sharing what I’m learning and how God is encouraging me in this season of motherhood and messy life. I hope it encourages you too.
