In this episode I talk to Sandra Gray who has led research into Golden Monkeys in southwest Uganda since 2004.
Sandra talks about the importance of research and how it influences conservation and local tourism. She also talks about co-operation between scientists and researchers in Uganda and Rwanda which the Mgahinga National Park straddles (with Congo).
She also talks about the importance of Dian Fossey's pioneering work in this area and the difference it has made.
