Alec Dawson
Academic Biography:
In December 2020 I finished my MA degree at Swansea University, having focused on the ethnogenesis of the Sueves and the Vandals. After teaching in a local school for almost two years, I subsequently began my PhD at Swansea University in October 2022, with my thesis on Late Antique Rule in Hispania and the Role of the Regnum Suevorum. Since then, I have presented papers at international conferences in Spain and the UK, including the renowned Celtic Conference in Classics. Alongside university teaching responsibilities, I have published book reviews for the journal Plekos and jointly chair a departmental seminar series.
