J.R. Shaw is a Galveston, Texas native who has been involved in a handful of professions such as tourism, professional beach lifeguarding, photography, and the maritime industry. J.R. has a vigorous curiosity to seek out knowledge, untold history, and explore compelling social dynamics. He has a knack for history and sharing under represented historical information and resources with whoever will listen.
