As a leader in Sports Market Analytics, SBRnet has always prioritized the ability to share industry knowledge with students/young professionals. Since the start of the pandemic, it has been harder than ever for students to connect with professionals. The My First Job In Sports podcast was created to bring together industry professionals and students pursuing a career in sports. That way, not only would professionals be able to share what they wish they knew prior, but students will also be well prepared and know what to expect once they obtain that first job in sports.

My First Job in Sports Welcomes Dr. Lindsey Darvin as our new Co-host
SBRnet is pleased to announce Dr. Lindsey Darvin as the new co-host for the My First Job in Sports Webcast and Podcast. Dr. Darvin is an assistant professor at Syracuse University. She holds a Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sport Management from the University of Florida, an M.S. in Sport Management from UMass Amherst, and a B.A. in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College. Her research focuses on gender equity in the sport and esports industries, specifically addressing the underrepresentation of women leaders and participants at the intercollegiate and professional levels. We extend a warm welcome to Dr. Lindsey on My First Job.
