As a leader in Sports Market Analytics, SBRnet has always prioritized the ability to share industry knowledge with students/young professionals. Since the start of the pandemic, it has been harder than ever for students to connect with professionals. The My First Job In Sports podcast was created to bring together industry professionals and students pursuing a career in sports. That way, not only would professionals be able to share what they wish they knew prior, but students will also be well prepared and know what to expect once they obtain that first job in sports.

In the 22nd episode of "My First Job in Sports" web and podcast from SBRnet, Dr. Lindsey and I were joined by Alana Sullivan, a graduate of the Sports Management program at High Point University. After completing her studies, Alana joined Wolfpack Sports Properties, a division of Learfield, where she initially worked in client services and coordinator of partner services. Currently, Alana is responsible for managing the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) relationships for more than 550 college athletes at North Carolina State University. Her role provides her with a significant opportunity to grow her sales and business development skills
