DialoguePerspectives entwickelt impact-orientierte zivilgesellschaftliche Programme für eine resiliente europäische Gesellschaft. Die Schwerpunkte der Arbeit von DialoguePerspectives sind interreligiös-weltanschaulicher Dialog, der europäische Kampf gegen Antisemitismus, die Entwicklung und Etablierung einer pluralen europäischen Erinnerungskultur sowie die Vermittlung jüdischen Lebens in Deutschland über bundesweite Bildungsprogramme.
‘DialoguePerspectives | Podcast’ is the podcast channel of DialoguePerspectives e.V., a Berlin-based European platform for strengthening the pluralistic society. DialoguePerspectives develops impact-oriented civil society programmes for a resilient European society. Its main areas of work are interreligious and worldview dialogue, the European fight against antisemitism, the development and establishment of a pluralistic European culture of remembrance, as well as conveying Jewish life in Germany through nationwide educational programmes.

This podcast episode is a recording of the panel discussion „Practices of Remembrance in Digital Spaces“ with Dr Jonas Fegert, Nhi Le and Susanne Siegert, moderated by Benjamin Fischer, which took place on 8 October 2025 as part of the CPPD festival ‘MEMORY MATTERS’ at OFFENER PROZESS – a documentation centre on the NSU complex in Chemnitz.
Digitalisation opens up new possibilities for the culture of remembrance – from AI-supported interviews with contemporary witnesses to holographic encounters and globally accessible digital archives. At the same time, new challenges arise. As this year's European Capital of Culture, Chemnitz is a city of contrasts – characterised by lively diversity and, at the same time, by the challenges of a violent past. The Open Process – a documentation centre on the NSU complex – embodies this engagement with local history and offers a special setting for discussing the future of remembrance culture and exploring digital methods without compromising the integrity or significance of physical places of remembrance. The experts address the question of how digital methods can transform the culture of remembrance. They discuss both opportunities – such as new approaches to historical experiences or innovative communication formats – and risks, such as questions of authenticity, manipulation or the use of private platforms.
