Speaker 1:

Welcome everybody to another episode of Barn to the Soul, and today we're going to be talking about healing with earth frequencies and the ancients. So over the last few weeks I've done a couple of talks at the purple feather spiritual events that are around and located near me, and I've done part one and part two and I was thinking they were well received and I thought you know what. I might as well give my little talks to you as an episode. So that's what we're going to do. So this is part one. So we're talking about earth frequencies and how we can heal with earth frequencies. But we can't talk about that without first talking about being grounded. We humans are electrical circuits and we need to be grounded in order to function at our optimum, and the earth will do that for us. We are part, completely connected to the earth. We're here for a reason. So when we are properly grounded we have less inflammation, more clarity, we sleep better and we just function better. So the earth is here to help us and we, like I say, we're completely linked to it. It may seem obvious when you think about it, but our optimum health is tied to our energetic connection with the earth that we live on, and the best way to experience being fully grounded is to walk on grass or the earth with bare feet, obviously not so comfortable in the current weather in England. But if we ground every day, we feel the benefits, and obviously our shoes and the infrastructure that we've built interferes with this. The ancients didn't have an issue with this. They were fully grounded. They lived on the earth, with the earth. So it's really important for us to find somewhere to ground, and we're often told to walk or spend time at the seaside or hug a tree to help us feel better, get more mental clarity and that's true and all of those elements will ground us. So we can talk about the frequency of trees and crystals, water, magma, lay lines, crop circles. They're all elements of the earth and they all give off different frequencies which we can use for our own benefit, and we draw those frequencies up through the soles of our feet from the energy matrix below us that crisscrosses the earth, or we can use our intention to connect to the frequencies if it's not possible to connect with any of those elements physically. So in this episode I want to talk about trees and the Celts to begin with.

Speaker 1:

So the Celts settled in England, wales, scotland, ireland and Northern France around about 1000 BC. And, of course, the landscape then was very different. They didn't have that infrastructure. It was heavily forested, and they became incredibly connected to the plants and trees as part of their everyday living, as part of their survival. So they believed that the trees had magical properties, that they each had a spirit and that they were portals to different worlds. They would carry out their rituals and ceremonies in a grove of trees, a small circle of trees, which was important to them, and the staves and utensils that they used were made of wood, usually ash. They had three main trees that they used, probably because they were prominent at that time, but they were oak, ash and hawthorn. So the Celts believed that each of these trees had different uses and could assist them with physical, emotional and spiritual issues. So they would use the leaves, the bark, the roots as tinctures and poultices in much the same way that we use essential oils today. So essential oils, we now understand, come under the umbrella of vibrational medicine. They vibrate and if we put something that is in vibrating into our own energy fields, then the two will try and find a common rhythm and that's why we're so affected by them. So whether the Celts were aware of this idea of frequency or they just came to understand that different trees help with different elements, we all never know Whether they did understand that the energy of a grove of trees felt different, to say different species of trees, and they were able to create a symbol that represented every tree. So we now know that trees make different noises, and researchers in France have devised instruments to listen to the different different trees, and they can. They know the sound of the tree normally and they want then be able to hear the sound of the tree when it becomes, starts, becoming in distress, and then they can look at the factors and see why that is and try and rectify them. So that's what the research was about in France. But, interesting, you know that they are now listening to that frequency.

Speaker 1:

We know about modern-day essential oils, but it was something that the Celts did just intuitively. So the oak tree for the Celts was called doua and it meant strength and endurance, opening new doors, new paths, protection and leadership. It also represented May, the last month of spring and the end of the beginning, and it's quite interesting that it represented a month, because then you can see that they were able to start leaving little messages when they devised symbols for these. So ash was called newan, which meant the month of March. It also meant fate, divine process, connections to the world, spiritual inspiration and to take action. And then the hawthorn whoaf meant protection, purification, learning through adversity and self-sacrifice. It helps to give clarity to the next step to take. It gives patience, stillness and the ability to wait until the right time.

Speaker 1:

And then the one I absolutely love this is my favorite is called co-at, and that is the grove of trees. It's this different feeling that they could feel when they were within this grove of trees. Whether they equated that to a sacred space, I don't know, but, or a sacred sanctuary, but it means finding a place of calm and peacefulness. It is surrounding and nurturing and protects as well healing. So it's it's it's so interesting to me that they were able to differentiate those and and basically they devised 25 symbols for different trees and different experiences and spaces and that they use. And again, we now know that symbols have their own vibration and can be used in healing.

Speaker 1:

And again, whether the Celts were aware of frequency or just so that they could differentiate between the different tree species, between the different energies that they can feel. I don't know. But they devised a symbol for all the trees, the different spaces, and these became known as the Ogum alphabet, which was a sacred druidic alphabet that was used as a secret method of communication. So when I was saying that some of the symbols, some of the trees, also meant the month of May, probably when the tree was most beautiful or something, and you can see that they could start to leave messages or meet you in the grove in May or whatever it was, but I love that. So it was a secret method of communication and also a way to pass on their huge knowledge of the trees, how the trees would affect us, how different species could be used for different ailments, et cetera.

Speaker 1:

And the word Ogum is believed to be in reference to the Irish Celtic deity Ogma, who was the god of eloquence and learning. But it could also relate to the Irish phrase point scene, and point scene, when spoken in Old Irish, sounds like Ogum and it would relate to the scene made by the point of a sharp weapon when it was inscribing something. Because they started inscribing these symbols on the trees, which unfortunately we no longer can see, but also on stones, and we can see those stones and we can see those markings, and this all came to be known as the tree Ogum. So those stones dated from the 4th to the 6th century AD and you can find them in Ireland, in Kerry, cork and Waterford, but also in England, scotland, isle of man and Wales. And later, in the later centuries, they were written down in manuscripts as well. So there are obviously surviving manuscripts and stones, but the symbols and the writing inscribed on sticks and stakes and trees obviously lost as they grotted over time. So the Ogum alphabet led eventually to the beginning of our own alphabet that we use today, which is so amazing that our alphabet evolved from the Celts' love of trees.

Speaker 1:

So you can use the symbols that the Celts devise as a healing aid. You can draw them on your palms, in the air, on a piece of paper or by chanting the name of the symbol aloud. Its properties will be imbued in your energy or be used in your healing. And they also used the trees for divination, which was the beginning of Ogum sticks. I have a set of Ogum sticks. If you go and have a look, they are exactly that. They are basically sticks made out of different species of trees with the corresponding symbol carved on them, but you can use them for readings and divination. So you ask for a stick for your past, you ask for a stick for your present, you ask for a stick for your future. Look at the species that you've pulled out. What does that mean? And then obviously come to a conclusion about what that reading is about. But it's great fun. Have a look at them and there's a beautiful, beautiful book by a name is Glennie Kindred and she it's called the Trioagum and it's just like a little paperback and it's beautifully written and drawn and it talks about how to make your own Trioagum, which is the fabulous thing to do and for kids to do. I think it's lovely.

Speaker 1:

So the Celts were using trees, symbols and basically essential oils as a way of healing, way back then, and something that we can tap into again. All of these elements are found in Celtic Reiki, which is a relatively new modality which was started in 2000 by a gentleman called Martin Pentecost. So if you have a look at Celtic Reiki, it's all it's all to do and it's something that I attune people to. So if you're interested in that, have a look at my website. I call it energy earth healing frequencies, but it's those sort of elements to do with the trees, and what I found is becoming attuned to the different tree frequencies has really this is my experience only, but it has really fortified and strengthened my immune system, I have to say that. So I've had a couple of instances where that's become apparent and I believe that that is the tree energies. So that's your trees and the Celts.

Speaker 1:

So another earth element we can talk about is crystals, my favorite. There is so much information out there about crystals, but I absolutely do not believe that we use them to our full potential. It's like having a computer in our home and showing everybody and being really proud of this computer, but we haven't actually turned it on. And that's what I feel with crystals. We really haven't. We don't use them to their full potential. So crystals are the DNA of the earth. They're made by the earth, depending on the temperature, the chemicals present, whether there's friction, etc. So when you think about how crystals are formed, it's often hot, it's explosive, it's volatile, it's not a gentle process. So there's a lot of power there which I don't think that we really truly tap into.

Speaker 1:

And crystals were very important in almost all advanced civilization, especially those that settled in South America, such as the Incas, maya and Aztec people, and they were very much embedded in their cultures. For example, the main Mayan shamans wore black tourmaline during their ceremonies black tourmaline masks so they would not be captured and killed by earth spirits and it's still seen and used as a protective stone today. The most popular gemstone among the Maya was jade. Jade from Guatemala, for example, exists in many different countries, from light mint shade to really rich dark green, but you can also get white, creamy yellow, lavender or purple. Another variety, known as Mayan foliage, is speckled green and white, and they're also rare blue jade stones. The color green, because all of these crystals are sort of a greeny blue hue, but the color green was considered extremely important by the Maya. It represented the water of the sacred caves, rich harvests and fertility. The Inca culture greatly revered emerald again another green crystal and the towns of Muzo and Chivo, located in what is now Colombia and known to this day as the old green mines. Emerals can even be more expensive per carat than diamonds and they symbolize power, immortality as well as eternal youth.

Speaker 1:

And then the Aztecs, which worship turquoise probably again because it was common in their area and used it in their rituals. Brave goods and art objects were usually decorated with it or consisted of a whole parts of the popular gemstone. And turquoise has a strong connection to the throat chakra and helps to enhance communication and expression. It's believed to align the chakras and is often used for healing purposes. Turquoise can also help you become more open to love and forgiveness and release patterns of self-sabotage.

Speaker 1:

There was also research to show that the power of crystals was apparently believed by these cultures to be derived from the power of the earth. This is fascinating. So that crystals found in caves, still in situ, were considered to be especially powerful. So they had to have that connection with the earth still for them to be powerful. Even if they were disconnected, they were used. But when they were found in situ in the caves, that was particularly important. So the source of their power was their connection to our earth. Does that mean to truly benefit from crystals? We must be truly grounded to the earth. Again, a very strong reason to be grounded properly. And of course the ancients also use crystals to scry to gain information.

Speaker 1:

John L Stevens in his work on the Mayan civilization. It's called the Incidents of Travel in Central America, chiapatha and Yucatan Probably not pronounced correctly, I'm so sorry Tells how, in one small Mayan temple, he discovered a pedestal formed of a shining substance resembling glass, around which, he was told, the ancient priests gathered and consulted pictures created in the black, transparent stone. He wrote a native inform me that their ancestors had given the gift of the vision stone when his people were instructed in the arts of civilization, and he was obviously talking about obsidian glass and how they would scry with that. So it literally has no crystal formation. It's formed from a volcano, it is expelled so quickly that crystals don't have time to form and it creates this glass and it's literally black glass. And you can buy obsidian mirrors I've got one myself and they are shaped out of this glass and you can scry with it. So you look into it and you see patterns and pictures, and that's how the ancients use them.

Speaker 1:

So interestingly, the Incan temple of the sun and the pyramid complexes of the Mayas were all located on earth energy lines, which again gave them that strong connection to the earth. They needed that connection in order to be at their full power. It was believed that the ancients possessed the ability of transmission images along these lines, and crystal lenses or screens were used at specific centers to transform the images into pictures, much like a modern television set. Or maybe they were able to access the information in the crystals because they were fully connected to the energy of the earth. Maybe we and crystals have to be fully plugged in to work to our optimum, which is an interesting thought. So crystals at their simplest functional level can store light and discharge it or convert sunlight directly into electricity.

Speaker 1:

A crystalline form can also store information in vast quantities. A cut sliver of crystal can pick up a specified vibratory pattern. The sliver can then be frozen and subsequently unfrozen later to play back that pattern. That's amazing, isn't it? That just fascinates me. So this was all information that I sort of researched. It's all available on Google, on the internet, but just I was looking at unusual connections, perhaps not the norm that we would normally think about crystals, but they have some fascinating properties, or perhaps understandings, you would call them, that I just find so interesting. So the next bit that I found about was a light and crystal computer, which they think will be operational in a very short time. So I don't really understand this because it's very physics-based, but it was talked about a complex sandwich of liquid crystal layers and mirrors which act as light valves to create closed loops of light and moonlight signals, which correspond to a two-affabetic system of information storage. Okay, so, in that way information can be stored with a density of 2,500 fold over that of conventional electrical digital computers. The first working model of this light and crystal computer is scheduled to be operational within a very short time.

Speaker 1:

Interesting, because when you go to a lot of spiritual sites, they are set up to catch the sun at various times to hit a certain spot. You get that in new-grange, for instance, and they now believe that Stonehenge was somewhere where they worshiped the sun. So maybe there is more knowledge stored at those sites that we have not yet been able to access. Not only knowledge, but the actual consciousness and emotional energies can be held in crystals. Several researchers have used crystals to capture the life force or the vibratory pattern of the person at death. That's extraordinary and I don't know how they've done that. And, like I say, this is information from the internet, so it's just interesting ideas that would have to be researched more, but I found that really fascinating. So it's almost like it's like a way to record frequencies.

Speaker 1:

Perhaps Other experiments were said to have successfully captured a human thought within a crystal and retransmitted it back as an image. That's so interesting. And when you look at people such like Vader Austin, who puts a thought into water and then freezes the ice and gets a picture back, you can understand that. And also water is talked about as a living liquid crystal, so that's really interesting. There's a connection there, isn't there? So author George Hunt Williamson, who believes that crystals played a significant role in past civilization, expressed his opinion that crystals can think and many standing stones have an intelligence within them.

Speaker 1:

Masses of crystal flakes encased in a single stone may act as individual neurons, passing along information from one flake to another and organize it like a large crystal brain. So we find, among Neanderthal remains dating back to 70,000 BC, collections of quartz stones and stone balls made of quartz. And we find this at New Grange as well, in Southern Ireland, where tiny pebbles of white granite quartz cover the entire mound above the energy chamber. And maybe this was the reason this is about. You know accessing this information, and I don't actually think that we have access to all of it.

Speaker 1:

The druids called certain colored crystal forms serpent eggs, and they were believed were created by a ferric serpent to the energy beneath the earth and joined together at the time of the midsummer sunrise. Such stones, worn about the neck, have the power of projecting one's energy field to favorably influence the aura and mind of anyone else who came within range. So they were used to win arguments or to be well received by the kings, which is interesting. I wonder if it was more. You know they were very calming and you know upbeat, and they just made somebody feel good. They also believed that wearing crystals over certain acupuncture points of the body aided in the healthy flow of physical and psychic energies. And then the infestation that I found is about a Chinese emperor, and he was said to have possessed a mirror-like stone of crystal which illuminated the bones of the body when a person stepped behind it. This was about 259 to 210 BC, and it was rectangular in shape, measuring 4 feet by 5 feet 9 inches, and glowed on both sides. And the placing of the hand over the heart somehow activated the stone whereby the patient's inner parts were clearly portrayed and diagnosis of illness could be obtained. Again, amazing Whether that is just a legend, I don't know. 250 years earlier, the Hindu sage Chivaka also had a large jaw which illuminated the body, like a lamp lights up a house and from which nothing within could be hidden by any intervening obstacle. So obviously the same sort of idea, the same sort of legend In light fashion. The medicine men of the Hopi Indians of the American Southwest used crystals to observe the energy sensors of the body, and they can tell when physical currents are impeding or causing in ill health. These crystals too have the power, when concentrated upon, to be energised in influencing events, including forestalling bad weather.

Speaker 1:

In crystal growth. When we actually grow crystals in the lab, combinations of light intensity, light colour, electrical current, sound, the direction that these are coming from, plus the shape and size of the container or the room will all affect how the stone grows. But recent experiments, for example, have shown that crystals grow five times faster when the crystal solution, the super saturated solution, is subjected to sound. And during the growth process crystals are also highly susceptible to conscious imprinting. So the energy and the bioelectric field of the person who is growing crystals becomes joined with the crystalline structure and memory. That's amazing, isn't it? It reminds me of that phenomena when you look at something, you change the way it behaves. But this is slightly different. This is taking on the energy and sort of energy field, the imprint of the energy field of the grower and incorporating it within that growth of the crystal. Fascinating so.

Speaker 1:

Writer and researcher AH Fry tells of his experience with a woman who produceda special copper alloy and then grew a crystal. From the results and the crystal Fry reported possessed electrical resistance factors which were really completely different from ordinary copper. And when he looked at this he could see that this copper that she produced had tiny microscopic wires embedded within it Not real wires, but it looked like wires. And when he attached an electro meter to the crystal he was surprised to find it was alive. It produced a pattern similar to that of a living plant and reacted to outside physical and mental disturbances in the same way that we would react to a polygraph. That's just so. Blows your mind, really, doesn't it, fry?

Speaker 1:

Commenting on the ancients use of crystals in general, stated legends occasionally mention crystals that could render invisibility and even cause weightlessness. They even use crystals to discover how to enter an escape time by negotiating a 90 degree angle phase shift. Was it all in the size and shape? Or did it involve mental forces and special live qualities within the crystals, as had been demonstrated in that copper. So that's just a bit of information that I was able to collect about crystals and trees and I just find it fascinating and I really. Some of it might be legend, but there's always a grain of truth in these old wives tales and these legends. But fascinating stuff and really interesting and it's well worth getting involved in frequencies because at least getting grounded definitely so. If any of you are interested, obviously, in the Celtic Reiki, as I say, or in my crystal healing days, please check out my website and contact me and I would love to talk to you about it all. So thank you for listening and I will bring you a healing frequency. Part two talk soon.
