so welcome everybody to another episode of balm to the soul, and this is one of my, you know episodes over this week. Um, with the launch of the red magus today, and today with me all this evening is, uh, connie stark from elevated mind. So welcome, connie. Thank you so much for being part of this book launch.

Thank you. So have a look back through the episodes that we've already done, because Connie's been on more than once, I think. So have a listen to what she's all about. But today we're going to do some cards. Connie and I meet occasionally to do cards and, um, when I say cards, I'm talking about angel cards, not the traditional tarot, but you can, it can be that, but there's so many forms of angel cards and it's really just a way to use your intuition, isn't it? It's like a prop, if you like, in order to use your intuition. So what are you going to do? The cards on tonight?

me Six months, the next six months for you, my darling. And here we go. Which is all related to the book launch.

Yes. Let's see what the energy cards have to say the next six months for Natasha and her book launch, and the first one is out Patience, patience, patience. Second one Community.

Beautiful yeah.

This is a beautiful card, and oh, this one came flying out. One jumped out, jumped out, yeah, yeah, this is the thinking woman. Oh well, thinking woman. So we have patience, community, the thinking woman, and I feel I need to draw a bonus card. That's what I feel bonus comes to mind, which I will put a little bit separate, but these are really promising cards that look like success and man holding a coin we have.

Oh, I like man holding a coin yeah yeah, that's right, that's right.

Overall energy is the thinking man Right At the bottom of the deck and when we look at the number 46 is 10, right, yes, and 10 is always completion, Excellent. So very, very, very good what we have here. So, with the patience card and related to the book, I feel that, yes, as the word said, you know you need to be a little bit patient. Yes, as the word said, you know you need to be a little bit patient. And the clock we have again, which is in line with the thinking man, number 10, we have 10 minutes past 10, so 10-10.

Right.

So we definitely have a theme of number 10 here okay, number 10 here okay, and, um, when this card shows up, it is letting go of the desperation, it's just going with the divine timing and to trust in the process. Really, you know, and I think a lot of us, um, when we have this card, we kind of probably roll our eyes and say not again, patience but, you know how much more patient do you want me to be?

uh, but it is, you know, trusting, and I think, in general, people need to learn to trust more yeah so, when it comes to your book, trust the process. It is going to be successful yeah, yeah, yeah.

So come up a bit for me lately. We've been. I was talking about that the other day, yesterday in fact I've lost track of time but yesterday we were talking about having to trust and how hard it is sometimes and how frustrating it can be. But that frustration is lack of trust and, like you say, you have to relax into it and just see what happens.

Basically, yeah, because also what happens with trust is doubt starts to kick in. That comes from the ego. And when then doubt kicks in, then the trust goes right. So we're really being asked to step into you can almost say use the law of assumption, where you step into that timeline where you know you are successful already or whatever you see as successful for this book yes, right or your work in general. And what came to me actually two days ago was desire and I thought, well, if we have a desire in us, then it must be reality, because otherwise we wouldn't have the desire in us. If I didn't, if I didn't have a desire to eat chocolate, well then I wouldn't know what it feels like to eat chocolate yeah yes, exactly yeah, so.

So if, then, we have a desire, if you have a desire to be successful with this book, then that is in you already. So therefore, it is your reality. Yeah, yeah, right. However, the patience card says well, can you be please patient and trust, because I'm testing you here, right? How much do you really believe in it? Yeah so, and this card shows a beautiful angel holding a clock in the stillness of winter. And isn't it fascinating. We're coming up to the season of winter.

Yeah, um, yeah, and her quiet, peaceful energy is telling you that it's time to release the old urgency and to look at things with a much clearer perspective it's just what I said you know, see yourself in that reality and any time when doubt starts to kick in, say to the ego thank you very much for bringing that to me, but I don't really need it right now because I know I've got it already. Yeah, right. So this is really telling you to relax and to let go of the single-minded desperation that's been driving you. Don't try to force your will on only one option. When you think there's only one solution to satisfy your need or to make you happy, you are blocking many other potential solutions from coming your way. Let go of anxiety and be flexible, be patient, open and creative, and the universe has more options than you may be aware of. So quiet your mind, broaden your perspective and let them come through. So this is a really powerful card, very powerful card, right? Just relax, yeah, absolutely Relax into it, lean into it and trust that it is successful. Right, okay, yeah, no-transcript, oh.

And the patience card is number 16. So one and six is seven as well. Yeah, seven and ten. So yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right, that's right. And then man holding a coin is number seven as well. That's three sevens and three tens. Yeah, oh, okay. So the community card is three women, celebrating, sharing ideas and supportive energy. So it's collaboration and I think this is in line with your podcast, you do. It's collaborating with others, yeah, and celebrating each other's wins and kind of be the uplifting energy, as in I want to see you successful. Right, it's not about me, it's about you and I make you shine. Yeah, and I personally think, when it comes to leadership, this is what leadership is all about. It is making other people shine. You know you are just the instrument, so to speak, but you are helping them to step up right one notch or two and you're almost like the wind beneath their wings. Yes, right.

And creating a community as we go. Yeah, absolutely yeah. The podcast guests are all part of that community, so that's lovely.

Thank you, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that is really what I get from the community card, and that you are in the process of building a lovely, lovely community where everyone is is working together.

Yeah and yeah, I feel that actually I, I believe that you know, spiritually, we should all be supporting each other, not competing, or you?

Speaker 2: 13:04

know it should be about celebrating. Everybody shouldn't exactly, exactly, exactly. It's at the end of the day. I truly believe it is about authenticity, and when there is authenticity, there is no competition no and because there is no second agenda, there is no ego involved no, no I was going to say that ego is about competition, isn't it yeah? There is no push-pull. There is, you give because you want to give. Yeah, it's not transactional.

And if we all succeed, then that will be a massive shift, won't it?

Speaker 2: 13:44

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

Absolutely be a massive shift, weren't it? Absolutely so, absolutely, absolutely. And a leader, a leader. A leader always goes by. Um, how can I make other people shine? The leader never makes it about him or herself, never you know, yeah, so it's creating something a happy community where lots of networking can take place yeah. Where there is a secure connection yeah lovely.

Then we have the thinking woman, and that's number 10. No, number 11. So the thinking woman I always see as someone who has studied a lot but who is still happy to continue learning. This is always what I get um ready to lead to a higher understanding. Absolutely and personally, I'm all about understanding, because if you understand, then you can change, and you can't change what you don't understand. Yeah, so, and and when it comes to your book probably the book is probably written that you give people solutions and they understand where their blocks might be, and when they understand their blocks, they can become aware of them and then they can change them.

Yeah, in fact I was talking to somebody about this. It's almost like, although it's a story, it's like teaching via a story which is such yeah, yeah, but it's absolutely being able to teach people and um let them get understandings absolutely, absolutely.

That is what it is really all about. You know it's it's. It's all about understanding your feelings, your emotions, how it is linked to your life and your actions. And I can share one thing I recently discovered that I had a belief that I wasn't worthy of stability. Right, because from a young age, probably likely um, there was kind of not always stability, not emotional stability. So you come then to a belief oh, stability is not for. And that then leads to self-sabotage, meaning that you want to build something new, but actually you don't. Why? Because you have the deep belief well, stability is not for me.

Yeah, and you almost create situations. Absolutely, you're unstable, to sort of prove your point. Absolutely, absolutely, yeah, because also the mind always wants to be right motivations. Absolutely unstable, to sort of prove your point absolutely, absolutely.

Yeah, because also the mind always wants to be right yeah so you, you self-sabotage, you, you start something, then you self-sabotage and you say you see, again I was right. Of course that all happens internally. You know, it's just not for me. Yeah right, it's fascinating really. You know, it's just not for me. Yeah Right, it's fascinating really, you know. So that's the thinking woman, all about understanding. Maybe people understand, yeah, where they are in life. Also, the card shows a butterfly and that's all about transformation. So coming out of the cocoon, okay, so I think your book will be a real, maybe bestseller comes to mind Excellent, yeah.

Bestseller comes to mind. That would be fabulous, yeah, and it would be fabulous not just for me to be able to say, well, I've achieved that, but also because it is teaching people and I hope people will take more of it, more out of it than just a story.

Yeah absolutely, absolutely. And then the, the last card. We have man holding a coin and that's all masculine energy, as in taking action and doing and getting the rewards from your actions. So this is a male connection in money, health and value. So you're giving a lot of value in that book, and I haven't read it yet. I haven't so so, but I feel there's a lot of value in that book, and I haven't read it yet. I haven't so so, but I feel there's a lot of value in it.

And people like stories and you do learn through stories, you know, um, so this could indicate an aspect of yourself and the readiness to further your goals and receive increased health, money and value in your life. Right, so it's greater success is on its way when you take control of your own finances and act. So this is really promising. And this card could also reveal the assistance of a financial advisor or healer the assistance, right, whom you already know or are soon to meet. Yeah, so this man is helpful and may bring sage advice concerning the action you need to take next. That's beautiful, that's beautiful, that's beautiful. So it is all about to be open to this person. Either that person is in your life already or you're going to meet this person, to be open to this person showing up with support, but always turn to your own intuitive guidance to weigh the information you receive. This could also signify a new love interest with a wealthy man or a man from work oh, I'll let you all know if I meet a wealthy man.

Yes, yes, that's right.

When we look at the Oracle card, we have the here and now, so being present, which is actually in line with patience. Yeah, then we have. Let me just take one randomly Blessed, whoa, wonderful, wonderful, blessed and blessed mending, mending, mending. Yes, well, you can look at it like that, that your book is there to mend people yeah yeah, help heal them, because stories are there to give us comfort, soothing, it's a soothing tool.

So that means we are being repaired, rejuvenated. Right earlier actually and I didn't take that card, but one card came out and that did actually say rest and rejuvenate, yeah. So that is in line with the mending, the internal mending, that needs to happen yeah, I think it's interesting teaching by stories.

I find that fascinating because person one may take one little nugget from it if that person might completely change their life you know it's such a sliding scale, isn't it? It's whether you're open to it, it's whether you're just going to take it as a story and that's great and move on, you know, but they're all valuable, yeah absolutely, absolutely.

It always depends on how you identify yourself with the story. Yeah, and I always say many people actually misinterpret, for example, cinderella. They say, oh, I want a prince and the prince rescues me. That's not the essence of the fairy tale Cinderella. Cinderella was happy, she wasn't chasing after a prince to be saved and rescued she was happy with her life.

And I think when we see and appreciate what we've got in our life already and appreciate that and are happy with that, then the miracles will happen yes, you come to a place of gratitude, and it is.

It is a very relaxed energy, isn't it? And it's sort of a slightly amused energy as well. You know, if somebody makes a nasty comment, you just have to smile and just think well, fair enough, you know, you know, it's just, it's very light energy. That, to me, is just going with the flow. You know not. Not, you know where you're coming from, you, and nobody's going to change that.

So, um, yeah, interesting because, yeah, because, um, I am a big advocate for authenticity, because I've also always showed up authentic.

Speaker 2: 23:04

Really, um, I've been on a journey, as you know, myself for the last five, six years but, I, now understand that, actually, although I turned up authentically, people thought I was arrogant, you see, and that hurt me, that hurt my heart, right. But it does make sense because when you're authentic, you haven't got a hidden agenda. No, but those people who see you or who have a hidden agenda, who have a mask on, they would be jealous of whatever behavior you show. Yes, yeah, yeah. So you're showing up confidently and they actually say you're arrogant, yeah because they're how they're showing up is distorted.

That's right. Yeah, that's right.

I get that right yeah yeah, yeah, fascinating really, which is why you need a supportive community, isn't it? Yes, you do, you don't worry about that, because that's you know, or whatever and talk it through with you.
