Merrill Charette

Merrill is co-owner of United Marine Systems, a general contracting company for marine repairs since 2019. He balances his time between active networking at boat shows, conducting podcasts with experts, and developing a marine services platform. He graduated with a degree in Cultural and Intellectual History from Rhodes College, where he helped create the college's first newspaper “The Sou'Wester.” After hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2018, Merrill moved to Boston to attend Suffolk Law. While at Suffolk, Charette began his liveaboard journey aboard his 40ft sailing yacht - Alabaré. Charette is a frequent contributor for Points East Magazine - the boating periodical for coastal New England.
