More Than Medicine
MTM - Interview with Scott Schara (Part Two)
The medical industrial complex doesn't value all lives equally—and Scott Schara learned this in the most devastating way possible. When his 19-year-old daughter Grace, who had Down syndrome, entered the hospital with mild COVID symptoms, Scott never imagined she would never come home. Seven days later, Grace was dead—not from COVID complications, but from what Scott discovered was deliberate medical mismanagement, including an illegal DNR order placed without family consent.
What followed was an extraordinary journey that transformed this grieving father into a medical freedom advocate and researcher. Scott shares the shocking moment when, after requesting Grace's medical records, he realized her death wasn't simply a tragic accident but part of a systematic devaluation of certain lives. Recent research confirms his suspicions—patients with Down syndrome were 630% more likely to receive DNR orders during the COVID era, revealing an institutionalized bias against those deemed "non-contributing members of society."
Scott's investigation led him deep into troubling territory, uncovering what he describes as the "Hegelian dialectic" operating in healthcare—a problem-reaction-solution model where manufactured crises drive people toward pre-designed "solutions." He explains how standard of care protocols, insurance requirements, and government reimbursement systems have effectively turned our medical institutions into "state actors" that prioritize collectivist principles over individual rights and genuine healing.
The conversation moves beyond merely exposing corruption to addressing the spiritual dimensions of our current medical crisis. Scott articulates how Americans have "sold their birthright to the state," placing faith in human systems rather than divine providence. He offers a powerful message about the opportunity this moment presents for sharing the gospel and reclaiming true health sovereignty through spiritual awakening.
Whether you're concerned about medical freedom, caring for vulnerable loved ones, or simply trying to navigate an increasingly complex healthcare landscape, Scott's insights will change how you view the entire system. His message is ultimately one of hope—that by acknowledging our misplaced trust, repenting, and returning to reliance on God rather than human authorities, we can protect ourselves and those we love.
What would you risk to protect your loved ones? Scott Schara's story challenges us to consider this question before it's too late.

Welcome to More Than Medicine, where Jesus is more than enough for the ills that plague our culture and our country, hosted by author and physician, dr Robert Jackson, and his wife Carlotta and daughter Hannah Miller.
Speaker 2:So listen up, because the doctor is in.
Dr.Jackson:Welcome to More Than Medicine. I'm your host, dr Robert Jackson, bringing to you biblical insights and stories from the country doctor's rusty, dusty scrapbook. Well, once again this week, I'm privileged and honored, once again to have Scott Schara online with me all the way from Minnesota. Isn't that where you are, scott?
Speaker 2:No close Wisconsin.
Dr.Jackson:Wisconsin. All right, I was close, I was close, all right. Now, scott was with me last week and he shared a very compelling story, a heartbreaking story, about his daughter, grace, who was a Downs patient Downs daughter, like my son Thomas and it was heartbreaking, scott, I'm telling you. It's just been working on me ever since you shared that story, but God launched you into a new era, a new stage in life, and I want you to share with my listeners what Grace's I call it a catastrophe, what that catastrophe has launched you and your wife into since that time.
Dr.Jackson:So just to catch people up that may have missed last week's episode Ms Grace went into the hospital at 19 years of age with a very mild case of COVID and 10 days later she died because of mismanagement in the hospital, and it's a heartbreaking story. Now, if you missed last week's episode, you need to go backwards and listen to that story and it's going to break your heart, it's going to probably infuriate you to a certain extent, but that has launched Scott into a mission in life. And so, scott, you're here today to tell us about that and I'm going to shut my little mouth and I want you to tell my listeners what that has done for you and your family.
Speaker 2:Well, thanks for the opportunity. Just a minor correction Grace was only in the hospital for seven days, not ten.
Dr.Jackson:Okay, I misunderstood.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's minor in the scheme of things, but the launch into what I'm doing today it happened fairly quickly but it wasn't immediate and the reason is there was a detour, which was an important detour. Three days after Grace died I went into a different hospital and I just about died on October 16th, and that hospital saved my life and God put me in that specific hospital. I'm positive to show how COVID should be treated and you know I'm not overemphasizing that. That hospital, through their treatment protocol, saved my life 180-degree difference. They kept me on a regular cannula, they listened to me, they used budesonide treatments, you know, through through a nebulizer.
Speaker 2:You know all things that were denied in grace's situation and ultimately I was thought I was going to die on October 16th. I was checked out of the hospital on October 19th but during that window God fulfilled a commitment that he always fulfills, which is he broke me. About 20 years earlier I had prayed the unthinkable prayer that I want you to do, whatever you need to do to break me and my stubborn pride kept that from happening until that hospital stay. So he gave me this. You know people ask, dr Robert, how can you possibly forgive the doctor and nurse who did this to Grace, and I always answered that I can't, because nobody can. Uh, and that's why we have a gospel message, that's why we have the gospel period. So god gave me the spirit of forgiveness when I was in that hospital, because he knew he was going to use me for what we're doing today, and yeah I understand that because I had a doctor who mistreated my Downs boy and he went into disseminated intravascular coagulopathy at one time and it happened despite I warned him.
Dr.Jackson:I told him what was fixing to happen. I saw it coming down the pipe and I warned him and it still happened despite my warning. And they neglected my little boy. He was only five weeks old and he nearly died and I want you to know, for weeks and months afterwards I was embittered. I mean, I was so embittered and it is only the grace of God, scott, that I was able to overcome that anger and that bitterness that was in my heart because of that event. So I know exactly what you're talking about.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, it was the miracle of miracles to walk out of there and have that attitude. And then for the subsequent two weeks, it was two weeks straight that I walked with God. I had never walked with him that close for two weeks straight. It was a fantastic time. And during that window, cindy and I got a call from a doctor friend of ours, who I was in touch with while Grace was in the hospital, and she said Scott, I think you better get the records because something nefarious happened. And so this was another miracle.
Speaker 2:I requested the records on October 31st of 2021. And I followed up on November 3rd to see if they got my request, because I had put it in the snail mail and they hadn't gotten it yet. But she said the mail just came in and so it could be in there. So she opened the mail. Sure it was, it was in there. I said, well, I'd like the records emailed to me. And she said, well, we can't do that because you didn't fill out the request, right. So I said, well, can I just change? You know I had a it. I said, can I just change it and fax it over to you? And she said, yeah, so I changed it. I faxed it over to her immediately and I had enough records the very next day, so November 4th.
Speaker 2:We had enough records to piece together what happened to grace and the doctor and I sat down. We spent about 50 hours going through records and we developed a couple of summaries, handouts, and on november 8th I sent an email to patient relations. As you know, our biblical responsibility is to meet with the person who sinned against us, and so I sent an email to patient relations with the documents that we had summarized showing how Grace died, and asked for a meeting with the hospital CEO and the doctor. On December 2nd they sent an email back. So this was three weeks later, and so we're not going to meet with you.
Speaker 2:I thought, well, this is strange, but during that three weeks, you know you're going to, you're going to, you know, cindy, my wife. Well, scott, you got to do this. You got to you know. I said no, I can't right now. I got to wait for their response. So then, when they said no, I immediately sent a summary to Newsmax and Fox of the case and I sent a quite longer summary, in fact an entire report, to the Medical Examining Board of Wisconsin to do an investigation and, to my surprise, newsmax contacted me a week later and I was on national TV on December 13th of 2021. That was my first interview and in January of 2022, the medical examining board sent me a response back that said they did an investigation and the doctor didn't do anything wrong.
Speaker 2:Are you kidding me. So this was the first day in the process of waking up. You know, at first I just thought, okay, grace died. Lots of people died. I just wanted to share the story, but I didn't realize that this is much bigger than somebody with Down syndrome dying or people dying of COVID. When I got the letter in the mailbox I saw it was from the Department of Safety and Professional Services, which is the medical examining board in Wisconsin. So I thought, yes, we're going to finally have something here. And I opened up the letter and read it.
Dr.Jackson:I thought to myself they're all in on this Yep exactly, and they cover for each other.
Speaker 2:Exactly, and I had no idea that I was speaking truth to myself as I walked back from the we live out in the country, so it's about a hundred yard walk back and I thought, wow, is this really what's going on? And I started investigating, started researching. Is this really what's going on? And I started investigating, started researching and by April I realized, okay, Grace was killed, this was not an accident. I kept researching.
Speaker 2:And the other thing is they don't value the life of a Downs patient like they value the life of any other person. Well, in fact, I found subsequent now in some of the research I found about three months ago you'll find this interesting Not only don't they value the life of somebody with Down syndrome, so I mean roughly 90% of Down syndrome people are murdered in the womb today. Roughly 90% of Down syndrome people are murdered in the womb today. Then, when you fast forward to when they implemented Obamacare, ezekiel Emanuel, who was one of the chief architects of Obamacare, said that non-contributing members of society don't deserve medical care. And this euthanasia agenda is buried in Section 1553 of Obamacare. In fact, doctors are trained.
Speaker 2:I found a training document when I was researching the implementation of Obamacare that shows that the doctors are supposed to view Down syndrome adults as somebody the family doesn't want.
Speaker 2:So they should be taking over decision-making authority for the family because the family doesn't want. So they should be taking over decision-making authority for the family because the family doesn't want this burden. This is the training document. Well then, subsequent to COVID and I have this up on my screen I found it because I thought we might end up covering it and this article is from the American Journal of Medical Genetics. It was written December 12th of 2023, and the title is Retrospective Review of the Code Status of Individuals with Down Syndrome During the COVID-19 Era. So, right on point with what happened to Grace. Grace had an illegal do not resuscitate order put on her chart, and so, in order to put this article together, the researchers looked through the records of 1,739,000 patients over 825 hospitals so this is a big sample and they found out that, during the period of January of 2019 through June of 2022, if you had Down syndrome, you had a 630% more likely chance to have a DNR ordered by the hospital.
Dr.Jackson:See there, you and I knew that. I knew you were going to say that before you even said it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, intuitively I knew this. But I mean, until you see a published article in a journal like this and it's like oh my gosh, this is real stuff. I mean, wow, it's discrimination against downs.
Dr.Jackson:And see, you and I have a downs adult and you and I know how precious they are, how meaningful their life is and how much they contribute to our family and how much their brothers and sisters love them dearly. I remember the day my 16-year-old daughter was tickling my 2-year-old Downs boy and making him laugh because he has such an infectious laugh. And she pops up over the back of the couch and looks at me and my wife and says every family should have a Downs child. And my wife and I look at each other and we remembered all the days in the hospital and all the surgeries and we're like calculating.
Dr.Jackson:And then we remember all the joy that he brings in our family and we immediately nod at each other and say yes, yes every family should have a Downs child you know and we understand, and I tell people in my church that God put special needs kids into the church for a reason and it's to teach us all how to be more like Jesus, because special needs kids need a little bit extra serving. And you see, jesus said he didn't come to be served but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many. And you know, I know lots of adults, scott, who've never learned how to be a servant. But my kids, my kids, learn how to be a servant from an early age because they had to serve my two special needs boys. And you see, being a servant is a premium value in the kingdom of God. And Thomas, we call him the professor, because he didn't come to learn, he came to teach. He teaches us how to be more like Jesus, more like the master.
Speaker 2:Bless his little heart, you were spot on with that situation. I mean, grace was the best thing god ever gave us, second to salvation. Yes, um, yes, you know, when you and I talked, uh, beforehand, I, I texted you something my wife found in grace's writings, which of course we knew about it. But I mean, these things are are hidden until you see them again. So she wrote a little card called my Bionic Heart and I'm just going to read it for your audience. So this is my little stinker, my best buddy. She wrote my bionic heart is for God's love, for others to get. When I am close by, my heart changes their heart. It's just beautiful.
Dr.Jackson:And that's so true.
Speaker 2:It's so true, and people. When we had Grace's funeral, 400 people came to the funeral and they all had these stories about how Grace just made them feel special.
Dr.Jackson:That's right and Thomas does the same. You know, Thomas never meets a stranger.
Speaker 3:He hugs everybody.
Dr.Jackson:It doesn't matter if they're young or old, black or white, democrat or Republican, it doesn't matter who they are. Thomas gives everybody a hug, complete strangers. He just walks up and gives them a big hug. You know, you ought to see him work the high school group at our church. He goes up and hugs the girls, he hugs the guys, and when he hugs the guys' girlfriends they don't know what to think because there's Thomas hugging their girlfriend.
Speaker 2:Oh my goodness, I can picture it, I can picture it yeah boy, yeah boy, yeah boy.
Dr.Jackson:Well, now tell me a little bit more about what it's launched you into now.
Speaker 2:Well, what happened? So a very significant event happened in July of 22. So now I'm already into researching. I probably had somewhere between 500 and 1,000 hours of research in then and I started processing the parallels with the Holocaust compared to now. So this is a worldwide Holocaust and I was coming to grips with that and I started doing some research on the Holocaust and I came across a lady by the name of Vera Sherov who's a Holocaust survivor, and she taught me a lot. Her and I did about 30 interviews together and in that process I learned of a term called the Hegelian dialectic and that changed my entire view of what's going on and it has spurred the spiritual side of the research. So most people have me on their program to talk about the physical side, but there's a spiritual side. Most people have me on their program to talk about the physical side, but there's a spiritual side. So we know the medical industrial complex is something we need to protect ourselves from, and advocacy is a way to do that, making sure you have your power of attorney documents. I can go through a lot of things as far as what I've learned relative to that situation, and I'm gonna come back to that after I explain the bigger picture.
Speaker 2:But once I got into this idea of the Hegelian dialectic, which in simple terms means problem reaction solution. So, for example, with COVID, they create a problem with a pre-designed solution, the problem being a fake virus, the reaction. So problem reaction solution, the reaction being fear. So then the solution is the bioweapon jab. All right, so this is how Satan has gotten the minions to control the population and implement this agenda. Well, god gave me a clear message to not use grace's story to expose evil in July of 22. And I thought I wonder why I have this message. I mean, I'm talking about grace's story all the time, but the message was don't use it to expose evil. Well, fast forward to.
Speaker 2:I started studying Revelation 13, and see, satan has a dualistic nature. He's got an antichrist nature and a false prophet nature, and so that fits with the whole Hegelian dialectic model of problem reaction solution. So the antichrist, evil side has to present, has to expose evil. So then people run to the false prophet side. So that's why God gave me that message. So what are we supposed to do? And the message is specifically is in Ephesians 5.11, which says have nothing to do with the fruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Well, that's in. If you look at your own Bible, it's probably written that way. It has the word expose. The NIV translation, which has been my Bible for years, was published in 1984. It has 450 million copies in America and it has that word.
Speaker 2:And I found out that Satan has changed Scripture certain scripture, not all of it and so I went back to the Tyndale Bible, the Geneva Bible, and instead of expose, it says reprove and rebuke. Well, that's not the same as expose. Exposing fits into Satan's playbook because he's got to resurrect himself as the angel of light once the evil is exposed. Satan also has the angel of light false prophet solution. That's how we've, that's how, um, something you know. Drill it down to the common application is politics. So we have this evil, the evil democrats are replaced by the less evil republicans.
Speaker 2:So how can somebody like Trump who brags about Operation Warp Speed, how can he just possibly get in? Well, it's because we have an innate desire for a king. The Israelites showed us this in 1 Samuel 8. 250 years after God parted the Red Sea, what do they want? They want a king. They don't want God anymore, and that's where we're at as a society and it is it's. You know, god is judging and his judgment is going to be swift when it comes, because that's what we've earned. We've turned over our birthright to the state and that is where my research is today.
Speaker 2:That's what I'm working on heavily today, and I said I'd come back to the physical side and I want to share what I'm currently writing about the physical side. I have an article, about half done, a research paper, not just an article, and it's called the Government is Legally Killing Us. And I decided to do this as a research paper because God put it on my heart. And I'll just go through in general the talking points so you know what I'm talking about when I say the government is legally killing us. So I have seven points in that regard.
Speaker 2:The first one is the depopulation agenda. So the depopulation agenda basically they've been sowing into the population the idea that there's too many people and there's not enough resources. This is the whole population worldwide. So how do they do that? Well, in 1905, jacobson versus Massachusetts became you'd call it the law of the land, not God's law, but it became legal because the Supreme Court sided with Massachusetts and that put a stake in the ground for the spirit of collectivism. So collectivism is the satanic principle that says we need to worry about the good of society, not the good of the individual. Well, god is an individualist. God doesn't worry about whether somebody has Down syndrome or is perfect or can contribute to society or not. They can all contribute because society is meant that's God's kingdom. We're not supposed to be worried about man's kingdom.
Speaker 2:And the third point is the budget lie. So they had to create this whole fiat currency nonsense started in 1913, formalizing it in 1933, and many steps along the way so that they could convince us that, well, the only way we can manage now the 135 million Americans on Medicare and Medicaid is we have to ration care. And so that? Why do we even need to ration care? Well, because we've got to balance the budget. Well, I'll just be blunt, we will never have a balanced budget because we have a fiat currency. There's no such thing. So it is a lie to convince us that rationing care is what we need to do under this spirit of collectivism.
Speaker 2:So how do they ration care? Well, in the early 80s they developed the standard of care model. So the standard of care sounds good, and this is how they got the insurance companies involved to write standard. They convinced us all we need medical insurance. And then the standards of care determine what medical insurance will pay for. So now when somebody gets cancer, we've been programmed because we have insurance. We've been programmed that chemo is the standard of care, which has a 97.9% kill rate. And then the doctor is programmed that chemo is the standard of care. So then when the person gets diagnosed and the doctor says this is urgent, we need to get you on your treatment right away. All the person asks is the foolish question does my insurance cover it? Well, yes, your insurance covers it because they're in on it. So what's happened on?
Speaker 2:The fifth point is CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Whether or not you're on Medicare and Medicaid, as you told me, you're penalized if you don't follow the standard of care with your patients. So CMS has created unlawfully state actors out of the medical industrial complex so big pharma, hospitals, insurance and the licensing of doctors and nurses all of these situations CMS. So through through our constitution, the government has very limited authority. They're not supposed to control medical care, for example, but cms controls all of these state actors because of their payment and reimbursement model. And then the last point is they have to get us to participate. So how does that happen? Well, it's through programming. They have just a simple example of programming is they have got us to believe that the Hippocratic Oath is first do no harm and it's not first do no harm. If you look at the original Hippocratic Oath from 400 BC, it is an oath to four satanic gods.
Dr.Jackson:Yep that's right.
Speaker 2:And getting us to participate is key, because then we don't see what they're doing. We become the boiling frog in that system.
Dr.Jackson:Yep, I want you to send me a copy of that when you're done, okay.
Speaker 2:I will Please do, please do a copy of that when you're done. Okay, I will, please do, please do. It's intense to write a research report like that, but I know I've been called to do it, so I'm going to have that done and published.
Dr.Jackson:Well, we could run out of time in about three or four minutes. You got any concluding remarks Well?
Speaker 2:I can tell people what to do to protect yourself, but the reality is none of it will make any sense if you don't change your belief. We have, as I said earlier, we've sold our birthright to the state tacitly in most cases, some people directly and the first step is in everything is acknowledge what you did in the process, and once you acknowledge, you can repent, and then you'll know exactly what to do. So once you change your belief and repent, you'll be prepared, because now you're relying on God instead of relying on man.
Dr.Jackson:That's exactly right. You're exactly right. Well, scott, I want you to know I appreciate the battle that you fight, I appreciate the desire that you have to educate folks and your willingness to fight the good fight, and I want you to stay in touch with me. I want you to keep me informed and maybe come back and share with my listening audience, a little further down the road, the progress that you're making. Would you do that for me?
Speaker 2:I'd be more than happy to. I think this is so important. I think we are in a time period where we have an opportunity to share the gospel like no other time in recorded history, because people are going to be clamoring for solutions as more evil gets exposed, and the solutions that we can offer are outside of man's system.
Dr.Jackson:And so, yeah, that's why I keep fighting, and it's the most important fight I've ever been in well, it's a good fight and the Lord has called us to contend for the faith and to fight the good fight. And we have to keep plugging away, don't we?
Speaker 2:Yes, thanks for having me, dr Robert. God bless you.
Dr.Jackson:Well, thank you, sir. You're listening to More Than Medicine. My guest today is Scott Schera, father of Grace Schera. It's a powerful story that he has to share and I'm delighted to have him as my guest today. We'll be back again next week. Remember, your doctor loves you. Until then, may the Lord bless you real good.
