Forged in Fire: Transforming Through Life's Flames
Fire, like love, can burn or warm us—a powerful metaphor for the spiritual transformation many of us are experiencing during this unprecedented time of global awakening.
When my house burned down in 2003, I faced the impossible task of cataloging everything I'd lost. This physical purging mirrored an internal process equally necessary: the burning away of a toxic relationship and patterns that no longer served my highest good. Sometimes our lives need dramatic upheaval to clear accumulated emotional debris, just as California's forests require periodic wildfires for ecological health.
The energetic shift happening on our planet is accelerating this process, bringing our shadow aspects to the surface for examination and release. We're witnessing this transformation even among public figures like Eminem and others who've undergone profound spiritual awakenings, transforming their art from expressions of anger into vehicles for spiritual truth. Their journeys remind us that transformation is available to everyone, regardless of past circumstances.
Those most uncomfortable now are those resisting change, blaming others while refusing to examine their own patterns. I recognize this because I lived most of my life this way—denying my need for transformation and pointing fingers outward. But life is a mirror, reflecting whatever exists within us. When we're filled with judgment or negativity, that's exactly what we'll encounter in our external reality.
I've been confronting my own addictive patterns, recognizing how these familiar behaviors keep me from my true purpose. The battle between my old identity (the "hippie freak of the South") and my authentic self (the "ambassador of Chi") represents the spiritual warfare many are experiencing. Old habits cling desperately as we attempt to rise into our higher expressions.
Like a blacksmith forging a knife, we need intense heat to transform into something stronger and more purposeful. Those who refuse to release their old identities will remain stuck in lower vibrational states of victimhood. The challenge before us is to drag our hidden pain and limiting beliefs out of the attic of our consciousness and throw them into the transformative fire.
We were born to walk through fires. When we allow the dross to burn away, we shine with our true purpose, co-creating a brand new world. What are you ready to release into the flames today? Join our community and share your transformation journey.
Fire, like love, can burn or warm warmth of fire. Or are we running from the fire licking at our heels that we're trying to avoid? Let's talk about fire on today's episode of Free to Just Be, the podcast empowering humanity to courageously step out of old patterns and matrix programs and give a big old hug to not only a new earth but new ways of being. And I hope this finds you in the greatest health today, with vibrant energy, because you have chosen to accept full responsibility for your body, mind and soul. Here we are going to try to inspire each other to truly be who we came here to be authentic, free and align with our highest potentials. So join me, teresa Marie, your traveling ambassador of Chi, on this transformative journey to rewrite our narratives and live lives of purpose and passion. And I welcome you back to this terrific, this tremendous, this thought-provoking Thursday, because we're going to talk about some fiery stuff today Fire, fire, fire. Yes, and I apologize for not being here the last couple of days. You know when you're in the midst of transformation, sometimes you just have to go with the flow. But we're not talking about a flow of water today. We're talking about the hot stuff, the fires of life stuff, the fires of life, because man, oh man, I tell you what we are in the battle of our lives, the battle to the death. To the death, I say yes, and we have to, we have to die, and that is where the fire comes in, the holy fires.
Speaker 1:Now I'm thinking about back in the day when my house burnt down, back in, say, 2003,. I believe it was when my house burnt to the ground and you know, when you go through something devastating like that, it's really amazing what you realize and recognize that you value. Is it stuff or is it life itself? Right, right, I remember the insurance agent coming and handing me this ream of paper, blank paper, and saying just write everything that was in the house down on this ream of paper. And I was like, are you kidding me? And I just remind you, just open your junk drawer in your kitchen and you will understand that his request was almost, like you know, finding all your belongings in a haystack. Right, because we don't often remember or catalog in our brain all the little innuendos of life that we accumulate, and that accumulation often needs to be cleared, like the forest in California that were not cleared, and now the wildfires continue to come and nature has a way of doing it. And in our lives it'll bring conflict, it'll bring drama, it'll bring tragedy. It will bring fire into your life and we can be grateful for it. We can rail at it, we can be pissed off at God about it. There's lots of different options when the fires of life come raging in.
Speaker 1:But right now, in the midst of the greatest shift of energy on the planet, those fires are coming up from the earth right and they are scorching feet and they are bringing everything. It's kind of like if you ever go up to an anthill and when you're a kid you're just curious and you want to, you're just ornery, right, you want to poke things. Well, that's kind of like fire. One little ignition and boom, you'll watch those ants, millions of them come out right, and that's kind of like the fires that are being brought into our life for our good. Oh, we don't recognize it when we're in the midst of it. And I've had some pretty big ramas, flashes of light, flashes of truth, flashes of acknowledgement the last couple of weeks as I have been battling and resisting the fire in my life. Have you ever resisted humanity? Have you ever tried to run from something so big and so powerful that's there for your good, and you're saying no, no, no, I don't want this to happen. No, no, and it's oh.
Speaker 1:Let me give you another graphic example. It's the infection in your tooth and you're resisting going to the dentist, and yet you know that when that dentist gets into your mouth, you're going to go through some uncomfortability, some pain, if you will, some fire in your mouth, right. But the fire of the dentist is the good fire. The fire of the pain that that infected, cavity-ridden tooth is the other part of the fire, right? So there are good and bad aspects of everything, especially in this 3D consciousness that we live in here on planet earth Good, bad, hot, cold, right. And we often think that, as our shite comes rising up to the surface, that, as our shite comes rising up to the surface, because that Holy Spirit fire, it's a coming. Whether you like it or whether you believe it or not, it is coming and everyone has the fire in them. But only champions know when to ignite. That spark is a quote by Emmett Ray, and I want you to think about all the people that recently have literally changed their life because fire came in Now.
Speaker 1:Billy Graham, the infamous evangelist, said that the Holy Spirit illuminates the minds of people, makes us yearn for God, and takes spiritual truth and makes it understandable to us. Now think about it. Go with me here for a minute. The one that blew me away recently was Eminem and think about how angry, how dark, how mean, and you know it was truth. Bloms, yes, but it was vengeful. It was full of piss and vinegar, right All of his rap lyrics. Well, the Holy Spirit got a hold of his mind and made him yearn for something different. He was so tired of the life that he was leading, he was so tired of the self-abuse, he was so tired of the battle going on in his mind that suddenly, that suddenly blink, the light went on and he recognized his need for God. And what is he doing now? He's wrapping spiritual truths. He's making the truth of God understandable to us. Billy Graham would be so happy.
Speaker 1:What about Jelly Roll, adele, rihanna, so many musicians? Now, oh, you know, some of the prepper world would say, oh well, they're just making it right because they know that they've been found out. You know they've been on Epstein's Island or what have you, and maybe that is the case, but Humanityville. I'm here to remind you that you know, even the worst quote-unquote sinner, murderers, murderers, horrible, horrible people, if they ask for forgiveness, they will be in heaven with God, because God doesn't see sin as one bigger than the other. A lie is just as bad as murder, and all of us sin right, and all of us can be forgiven. So make no mistake, they may have committed horrible things, but the way they're showing out their lives now, eminem especially, I mean some of these lyrics that these musicians, that these artists are coming out with, are not candy-coated. You know, I just want to be freed from whatever I did in my past. No, these are deep-felt revelations coming up out of their lyrics.
Speaker 1:Right, and that is what the fire does. The fire within that Holy Spirit igniting you literally sparks creativity. But what does fire do? First? You see, like my house fire, I was in a horribly toxic relationship and there were things about my life that had to burn, baby burn. Now, I'm not saying that it was a necessary thing for my ex-husband to burn my house down. Now, he didn't burn it down purposefully, but it was his addiction to substances that caused him to fall into a drug sleep, a drug coma, so to speak and let the burrito burn up in the deep fryer in the kitchen, right? Nobody else was there. My young son, who was probably about 11 or 12, discovers the fire in the kitchen. Horrible, horrible circumstance.
Speaker 1:But you, you know, you have to let certain things go and now, exponentially, the pressure's on folks. It's like a pressure cooker here on earth. There are those that want to are here on earth. There are those that want to stay in their old way of being and they are the most uncomfortable people right now because they are not willing to look at their shite. It's everybody else's fault. It's everybody else's drama. Nobody, nobody does it the way they do it. They are right, they are good, everything is going good in their life. It's everybody else's problem. If everybody else would leave, then they would be fine. Those are the resistors. And how can I call them out? Because I live most of my life like that La, la, la, la, la, la la. Nothing to see here. I'm good, I don't need any fire to burn anything off. I am perfectly good. I don't want to change. I'm going to stay in my pile of shite and in my mess and you leave me alone. You are the problem.
Speaker 1:And really that is the beginning of recognition and acknowledgement. It is the beginning because what's going to happen to those folks is what happened to me and to many others. You begin to see it everywhere you go because, humanityville, like it or not, life is a mirror and it's going to reflect back to us whatever is inside. And if you got yuck, you got angst, you got unforgiveness, you've got onriness, you've got vengeful thoughts, you've got judgments oh, am I talking to you? Oh, yeah, yeah, because guess what? Those three or four chubs were pointing back to me my whole life, a life of comparison and judgment. And then I began to recognize I'm not getting out of this. Nobody is coming to save me. I have to work out my own salvation. I said those words 40 plus years ago. Forgive me, god, for I have sinned right, but that was the beginning and that is what is happening now.
Speaker 1:The fires are coming up and they're revealing and illuminating all that has to go in our life. And you have a choice. You can let this fire burn away everything that no longer serves you. It can burn away all the yuck that's keeping you from your purpose, your highest calling right, or you can keep on running, or you can literally decide. You know what I like, where I'm at and there are going to be millions that decide that they're going to stay in the drama pool of the 3D world and they're not going to go. They're not going to ascend, they're not going to go up the steps toward heaven, they're just not. So we have to remember that the most powerful weapon here on this earth is us souls on fire, like Eminem, like Tom McDonald. Now Tom is still, he's still spewing all what's wrong. But somebody has to do it, somebody has to be the siren. Well, the battle, the battleground for our souls, is incredibly fierce right now, because the darkness knows that way too much light is on the planet now and all darkness is being found out. So you have to ask yourself, humanityville, are you going to let yourself be found out? Are you going to look at your stuff? Are you going to unpack it? Are you going to pull it out of that suitcase that was up in the attic and are you going to drag it down those attic steps? Are you going to drag it down those attic steps? Are you going to pull it by the handle and say, no, you're coming with me, I'm not putting up with you in my life anymore, whatever it is.
Speaker 1:One of the things that got me this week is my repeated programs. You know it's really interesting. There are no coinkydinks, there are just synchronicities. And for a whole week I was thinking about my being an eight on the Enneagram and I'm going to go more in depth about the Enneagram in episodes to come and I'm going to invite my friend Sandy on to describe Enneagrams a little bit more. But my lower side of my Enneagram is excessiveness, is my addictive behaviors. That's been my life.
Speaker 1:And as I've been driving this week thinking about this, as I've been driving this week thinking about this, I have these patterns Patterns of sugar, patterns of caffeine, patterns of alcohol. Oh yeah, alcohol, a big old haul of grossness, is what alcohol brought into my life. Alky-lo brought into my life. Alky-lo, a low where you're thinking about drinking and then you drink and then you go through all the bodily yuck of the day after drinking the alkydol. Oh yeah, the dullness.
Speaker 1:You know I have indulged more since I've been home than I had in two years in the last six or eight weeks. Why? Well, because it's a very familiar pattern in my family. It's a very familiar pattern in my family and unfortunately, it came into my family, into my children's world, through me, through watching the pattern in my life, and when they got old enough, or almost old enough, they replicated it. So now we have a lot of alcohol and a lot of events. Now I'm not calling my family out, because that's not my job it is no longer my job to take care of anybody but me.
Speaker 1:But I was thinking about how alcohol is one of my patterns and it keeps me from the awesomeness, the purpose, the reason that I'm here. And so, as I'm driving this week, I was thinking, wow, there's that pattern again and again, and again. And then I started thinking you know, that's Terry Wilson, the hippie freak of the South. I'm not the hippie freak of the South anymore, I'm over here. I'm Teresa Marie, the ambassador of Chi. That's who I really am, the ambassador of chi. That's who I really am, the one who wants to talk about god, the one who wants to light the world up, the one that wants to help people come home to themselves.
Speaker 1:And oh, baby, there's that hippie freak of the south saying oh you, you know, you want another twisted tea, don't you? And there it is the battle to the death, the logic of my old patterns, or my own clairvoyance, my own intuition, saying you know, you don't want that, you don't need that anymore. You want to step up, you want to rise above the ashes, you want to be that phoenix. But man, old habits are like Klingons and they are holding on for dear life. Right now that is the battle of our souls happening. And so, going back to all of that yuck that we have hidden in that suitcase up in the attic, I've begun to call it out and say no, you're coming with me. No, get behind me. No, no, no, no. I've been saying no a lot. To who? To the hippie freak of the South? No, you're not in charge anymore. There is a new Teresa, a new person in town and it's not the old way anymore and those Klingons are going to have to go.
Speaker 1:And here comes the fire. I think of my friend Tracy, who two, two and a half, maybe three years ago, decided he wanted to forge some iron. He wanted to learn how to make metal go into a fire and come out a beautiful knife. And he didn't know what he was doing at first, but he got his equipment and he began. And man, oh man, the beauty, the function, the strength that he now creates and three years later he is really perfected the art of forging knives.
Speaker 1:Now that is a great use of fire. Are we using fire so we can become more of who we really want to be Free? You see who we really want to be free? You see, you cannot be completely free until you burn away the old. The old man has to go. It has to go and, dare I say, my opinion is, the people that don't want to kill that old man, they are the ones that are going to stay in 3D, they're going to stay in the drama pool, they're going to stay in negativity, they're going to stay in victimhood, they're going to stay on welfare.
Speaker 1:They're not going to rise because it's too hard, I don't want to, it's uncomfortable. I want to stay in my safe space. Now I'm not labeling because, baby, I've just walked out of a whole lot of my lifestyle and it. Burn away and expose the beautiful creations that we are. So remind yourself today what Ferdinand Fox said the most powerful weapon on earth, folks, is the human soul on fire.
Speaker 1:So will you allow all the yuck, all the stuff in the attic? Picture yourself dragging it down to the fire. Picture yourself like that caveman and you're dragging your yuck, whatever it is, judgment comparison. I'm not good enough, I can't I'm never drag it by the hair, drag it down to the fire, put it in the fire. Put it in the fire and begin to light a fire that the rest of the world can't put out, because the more people that burn away the dross, the yuck, the corrosion, the green mold, when you burn that away, you're going to shine, shine, shine. And then we're going to begin to burn with purpose, letting our inner fires lead the way. And those of us that are pioneers, we may just be the ones that are going to have to take the bellows out and puff, puff, puff and blow air on those that we love so that their fires can burn hotter and brighter and they can walk out shiny, just like Shadrach, meshach and Abednego, right, because we can't burn.
Speaker 1:Baby, we were born we were born Humanityville to walk through fires. We were born for this. So we're going to end where I opened Fire, like love can burn or warm. Let your old stuff, the hidden dross, burn away so that you can sit by a holy fire and know that now you're shining, you're shining with purpose, you're shining with mission, you're shining with the spark of creativity and you're creating a brand new world. And it's because you let that fire burn all the old you away and now you're a new being. I love you, humanity. Burn it up, burn it up. Burn it up and I will see you on a fantastical Friday. Peace out.
