What If Our Greatest Tragedies Are Invitations to Transformation?
The human soul yearns for serenity in a world marked by division, violence, and turmoil. But where do we find such peace? Drawing from ancient wisdom and personal experience spanning over 40 years of spiritual practice, this episode explores the profound truth that "returning to the source is serenity."
Beyond denominational boundaries and religious dogma lies a simple yet transformative reality – our connection to our Creator provides the grounding we desperately need. Like birds instinctively returning to their nest, we find our true home when we reconnect with the divine source that formed us. This relationship doesn't diminish our individuality but rather makes us "more fully ourselves" by aligning us with our authentic design.
Recent tragic events have shaken our collective consciousness, revealing both our capacity for hatred and our hunger for unity. These painful moments offer unique opportunities to examine our reactions, identify what Holly Kenley calls "internal invaders," and choose a different path forward. When we witness violence and division, we're called not just to condemn external darkness but to recognize and transform the shadows within ourselves.
Perhaps most heartbreaking are the divisions within our own families – rifts that mirror the larger fractures in our society. By returning to our spiritual center, we gain the perspective and strength to become "chain breakers," interrupting patterns of blame and rejection that have persisted for generations. True transformation begins when we stop pointing fingers and honestly assess our own contributions to disharmony.
Ready to experience the serenity that comes from spiritual reconnection? This journey of awakening isn't always comfortable, but it leads to authentic freedom and the ability to create "bouquets of love and light" that can truly transform our troubled world. Join me in this courageous exploration of what it means to be fully present, spiritually connected, and radiantly alive.

So join me, won't you, on this tremendous, thought-provoking Tuesday, on this transformative journey we're all on to rewrite our narratives and live lives of purpose and passion. And I opened with a quote from the message version of the Bible, because that is what really hit me today, as I began my day hours ago.
Speaker 1:I always begin reading from certain materials. I have five or six books, and whatever the Spirit leads me to pick up is what I pick up. And you know there are no coinkydinks. And it is amazing to me how, over and over again, god, our creator, will align things up so perfectly. Now you tell me how a book let's see, let's see when it was written. A book written in, oh, let's see. When was this written? Oh, my goodness, 2014. A devotion book written in 2014 and a devotion book written in 1946. How is it, humanityville, that these two books on the same date, september 16th, can say literally the same thing? Now, right away, I'm hearing oh, it's a coincidence. No, there are no coinkidinks.
Speaker 1:Everything has a purpose, and I want to make a case that, on this ascension journey, that we're on this awakening journey, that is the one thing that we really need to do, and that is to come back to the source of it all, the source of where we began. And, just like the analogy of the baby that I open with, we don't know how our spirit is formed. We can't see it and touch it. It's just like songwriters have talked about. Well, you know, you can't grasp the wind, but you can feel it, you know it's there. And this journey I mean man, oh man has our creator given us opportunity after opportunity in the last week or so to really look at our lives, hasn't he? So I want to talk today about returning to the source.
Speaker 1:Laozi, which is another name for Laos too, had one of his famous quotes in the Tao Te Ching that said returning to the source is serenity. So I want to offer you my case for the truth of that, because, good God, do we all know that we need some serenity here on the planet, don't we? Some serenity from all the tumultuousness, from all the hate, from all the division, from all the bloodshed, from all the violence? Don't you want serenity?
Speaker 1:Well, I don't profess to be a Bible scholar, a spiritual teacher. I am just your regular, average American woman, and the only thing I can offer to you today, humanityville, is my experiential knowledge with Source. I have been walking with God for over 40 years. I've read many, many books, I've sat in many pews, I had a whole 20-year run in the religiosity programs, and I can tell you that, not being a quote-unquote regular in a church for over 18 years and that's not to say that I've been in many, many, many churches in the last two years, many, and not just Christian, you know, quote-unquote Christian Because, you see, I am of the belief that my source, god is God over everything.
Speaker 1:God is God over everything, and it isn't one way or the highway. And I personally believe. For me it has never been about a religion. It wasn't Baptist, it wasn't Nazarene, it wasn't Catholic, it's not Hindu, it's not non-denominational. Let's see what other denominations I visited. Actually, one of the few that I haven't gone to is a Jewish temple, and I'm saying that all to say that for me, it has never been about an organized religion. It has always been about a relationship with my creator. You know, like birds returning to the nest, again and again they come back to the source, because only there do they realize that we literally host the creator. And that's a quote by Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
Speaker 1:Now, think about it. Think about it. There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged. And why is that so good? Because there you find the ways in which you yourself have been altered, which is a quote by Nelson Mandela.
Speaker 1:And now I'm going to link that with this incredible ascension journey that we're on, because could it be that the spirit man inside us has been so covered up? And could it be that, maybe, just like we had to learn how to walk and eat and run and speak and all of those things physically, which is the concepts that Cindy Trim was bringing to me this morning in her devotion book. And yet we have forgotten all the lessons that our spirit man knows, and they're all covered up. What if, as Sarah Young said in another devotion book the one from 1946, that we were designed to live in union with God and it doesn't negate who we are? Oh, and here's the ascension tip of the day, that relationship actually makes you more fully yourself, because you see what is the world doing. They are living independent of God and experiencing what Dissatisfaction, emptiness. You know the proverbial hole that has God's name in it, and we look all around and we reach outside of ourselves, when the answer is finding fulfillment right inside, close to your creator, just like the birds kept going back to the mama bird right.
Speaker 1:And as Sarah Young the line that really got me today about the ascension journey and her writing it said though I now this, of course, is God talking, though I may lead you along paths that feel alien to you. Do you feel alien in the world today? Do you feel like there's no love in the world today? Do you feel like everything has gone topsy-turvy and there is no end in sight and we're never going to get out of this and stop the world. I want to get off. Well, join the club. But what if I were to tell you today that that is all part of the ascension towards the stairway to heaven, like Led Zeppelin sang about? And yes, these paths feel alien to us because we are not used to operating within our spiritual realm and we're so used to taking the control seat and we are so used to listening to what everyone else says and we have been tainted by the propaganda and lied to and we're spinning on this matrix merry-go-round, and inside is that longing, just like the bird, for that familiar place of bliss. And that is exactly how God designed us to be.
Speaker 1:And could it be Humanityville that the very tragic events, the big one that got everybody's attention, almost as big as 9-11. And it's interesting to me how I'm seeing some of the same responses from back in 2001. Back in 2001, it was the patriotism that came out and people helping people without question, without expectation of anything in return. And flags oh baby, the US flag was everywhere and everybody was standing proud and saying yes, I am one of them, was standing proud and saying yes, I am one of them. Now, today, in light of the violent acts and, like my former pastor, I posted it.
Speaker 1:I think yesterday or a couple of days ago, I had a preacher in Florida whose church 1122 I visited I don't know a half a dozen times and I'll be honest, there were 3,000 people in this church and I felt very anonymous and I would go into that church and I'd go all the way up and sit in the second row. Why so? I didn't have to look at the people. I wanted to be close to the worship team, I wanted to be close to having my own experience. But I tell you what? That Pastor Joby man, he would get my heart every time.
Speaker 1:Now I don't begin to say that I know all the ins and outs of the Bible, although I've read it in just about every version, and I know a lot about Scripture, but there are big thoughts that I have and I've had for 40 years. This looks like it was added, this looks like well, what about this? Where is Jesus in the Bible? He's the star of the Bible, and where was he from age 12 to 33? So see, there's all of these things that we can grapple about and I don't want to go there, but I want to go to my place of bliss, to who I always turn to, and sometimes it is not a cakewalk. As Holly Kenley says, sometimes God will take you to places that you don't want to go, ie the tragedies of recent weeks. Why, well, holly Kenley said it perfectly Whatever issue that you have, okay, so she says.
Speaker 1:Returning to my betrayal environment was not a mistake. It offered me the opportunity to root out internal invaders and to remove their legacy. Thank you, and to remove their legacy. Thank you, holly. I have a shirt that I wear frequently that says it ran in my family until it ran into me. And I'm not talking about my blood family, although those issues that I'm speaking of come down into them too. I was a big culprit in a lot of what ran in my family. Right, I'm talking about the family at large, the family of human beings that we belong to, you and I. Red, yellow, black and white, we all bleed red and we all belong to the same human family, to the same human family, and when we're taken to places that we don't want to be, like the tragedy of last week, it forces us to look at the hate, at the violence, at the division. And if you're wise, you take it back to the source. And I'm sure many of us, even those that are not professing to be Christ followers or spiritual, are saying what WTF? What is it? What is going on? I do not understand. And if you go back to the source, your creator, god, he gives you the opportunity to take that experience and reflect on it, because every experience we go through is a reflection of us. And what did Holly say? It's an opportunity to root out internal invaders.
Speaker 1:Do you think we have some internal invaders in the world today? Humanityville? I think so. I think division has been by design. I think programming is causing us to just forget about our body. We don't need our body, we just need to do what we're told. We're being controlled and we don't even recognize it. And these are opportunities for us to root out those invaders and remove their legacy from our bodies, from our family line, from our communities, from the world at large. Do you think that God allowed this horrible assassination just to cause more division? Well, there are those that are going to do that, but there are millions that took to their knees. There are millions that have contributed to that family and to that organization, contributed to that family and to that organization. And these are the people that recognize that, this division, this war, that they, the matrix, the controllers, the governmental agents that are wanting full control of the world. You know we don't hear much about the new world order, but mark my words they are still on track to take over our world. So what will we do to root out our personal internal invaders?
Speaker 1:And I know I have done it, just like most of the world, and I have attempted to live independently from God. And I remember some specific times where I consciously chose nope, I know what you're telling me, god, but I'm not going to do it. One time I literally was sitting in my car and turned and looked at the person tempting me and saw a literal demon sitting in my car. Oh yes, are you one of those that have seen the darkness? It's not a pretty sight, folks. It's not where we want to be. We want to be going towards the light, and the light and the darkness. We're right in the midst of it, right, and that tumultuousness is continuing to go on and and the only way out is going in. I don't know what else to tell you, you know, and in that moment, even though I saw that demonic figure, I chose erroneously and I walked away from God and the moment I'd made that decision it was literally like cold darkness came over my whole physical being. I know it's just making my skin crawl right now. I never want to do that again, ever.
Speaker 1:And that is what a lot of the world. They are so full of themselves, they are so sure that they can gain the whole world. They can gain the whole world and yet they're losing everything in the process by following these programs and not beginning to wake up and recognize that they've been lied to. So fulfillment to me, even through. I mean, you've listened to some of my podcasts. I am, you know, the proverbial mess hosting a podcast. I am the self-proclaimed Jerry Springer ringer lady. I've done so many horrible things in my life, but I can tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt that I am so loved and I am so cared for by my creator and he is guiding me one step at a time, sometimes one iota of a second at a time, out of this matrix programming, waking me up and bringing me home right back inside to the love and light that I am, because we are all sparks of the living God and he's eternal. He's not going anywhere.
Speaker 1:So it just grabbed me today how awesome it is to walk with God and his son Jesus, and to have the Holy Spirit flowing through my body and to teach a meditation in motion that allows you to feel that spirit so much more profoundly. Because they want to keep us separate. They don't want us to get back into our body. They don't want us to feel the energy of the Holy Spirit and the Creator flowing through our body. Because it flows through our body, folks, and even our DNA moves in that beautiful figure eight pattern. You can literally feel his presence in your body. It's always been there, but we've had it so covered up by these programs. And when we're in union with God, we're complete. And when you're close to him, more and more you become transformed into the one that you were designed to be.
Speaker 1:So if you were ever wanting an exit, a way to change the world, change your world first. Change your world first and remember that maybe we don't know everything there is to know about our creator, maybe even what we hear from the pulpit isn't 100% accurate, but it's a start and you can begin that relationship today, because returning to the source is absolutely serenity and you know I have, over the last four, four and a half years. You really can just, with your breath, come back to that place right inside your heart to surrender. Eckhart Tolle told us that awareness of our inner body is consciousness. Remembering its origin and returning to the source. We need to awake and remember humanity. Lao Tzu also said returning is the movement of the way. Do you know? When Jesus was on the planet, his disciples and the people that followed him were called the way. And what is the Tao Te Ching? It's the book of the way.
Speaker 1:So, in closing, in the midst of all this tumultuousness, don't get discouraged. Just go back inside. Just imagine yourself like the bird and your nest is in your heart and you're going to fly back in and you're going to say just put your wings over me, please, and the divine mother will hug you and point you right back to God, your creator. And I'm going to close with a quote by Lorna Jackie Wilson no Relation to Me. And she says life is a gift regarded as such.
Speaker 1:I think that's what blew so many of us away the complete disregard for life. How people can just so coldly just say, oh, you know, he got what he deserved. Really, would you feel that way if it was your brother or your father? And some of us may, because that was all by design too the division of the family. And that's what really breaks my heart, how we have allowed our families to disintegrate, and a lot of it was because of fault of our own.
Speaker 1:But you see, the more you go inside, the more you begin to recognize and track with the fact that we are not our past and our future really isn't defined by our past. And change is besides God. Change is the only thing we can count on. God never changes. We can count on that. But we can also count on the fact that every single moment, our cells are changing within us and we too are evolving. And if you open your eyes and open your heart and your spirit, you might recognize that these tragedies that are happening over and over are opportunities for us to view our own reactions.
Speaker 1:How have we reacted to this? How do we react to politics? How do we react to people of other color? How do we react to people of other religions? And if you stop pointing fingers and look at your own self, you might recognize. Oh wow, that's a pretty ugly response I'm having. Maybe I don't want to be that way going forward.
Speaker 1:So, as Lorna Jackie Wilson says, life is a gift. Regarded as such, return the blessing through each life you touch. That's how we can change the world. You know, it was beautiful to see thousands of people gather at these memorials, but where are the people going to be next week? Are we going to be back in the same track, sitting on Facebook, gossiping and disregarding our brother that might need us, on the road next to the car as we're exiting the freeway? Are we going to turn a blind eye to our family members who mayhaps are also on the same transformation journey that you're on, and maybe they have changed and you just will not allow yourself to see those changes because, well, I'm going to keep my boundaries up.
Speaker 1:Well, we go back to what Nelson Mandela said there's nothing like returning to a place and then you can see how you've been altered. Who in your family do you need to let off the hook humanity? Who in your family maybe you need to go visit and see if the 20 years that you left them behind has changed them? Maybe you were called to go back home to the family that hurt you, so that you can be the light and illuminate those moments of hurt. You see, the goal of harmony and unity will never happen unless we look at the garbage and, as Holly Kenley say, root out the internal invaders, because they're all internal invaders Programming false beliefs. Did you ever stop and think that maybe if you had a conversation with the people that you are divided with right now, maybe you would discover that they have some of the same pains that you have? Maybe they're trying real hard to transform themselves and maybe they need to be guided back to their source. But no, we just say no, I'm not going there again, right? So to finish, lorna says every seed planet springs forth new birth. Allow your bouquet to cover the earth. It starts with you and I.
Speaker 1:And if you're one of the millions listening today that went to one of the memorials, I didn't go to a physical memorial. My memorial was right in my heart. As a mother, as a Grammy, I can't imagine the pain that this family's going through. But let me tell you their light, their courage, their fortitude, their desire to keep his legacy alive has touched my heart.
Speaker 1:And while there may be division within my own family, within my own family, and while I literally walked away from my own siblings years ago and really lost so much, so much time, so much love, so much support, and now watching my own children do the same thing, it's heartbreaking. And yet I am in control of none of it. The only thing I can do is choose today who I will serve, and for me and my husband in this humble abode with our fur babies, whether our kids visit us or not because they don't like the way we believe or the way we think, we're going to serve him and we're going to continue to ask him to take us down the sometimes very awkward and very uncomfortable paths so that we too can choose to root out our own personal internal invaders and remove their legacy. Because you know what folks? Even if there is division within your own family, you can be the chain breaker. You can begin to sow seeds which eventually will spring forth into new birth, and that's how we will bring beautiful bouquets of love and light to cover the planet.
Speaker 1:So I'm thankful for the authors of these books. It spurs me on to pull out 40 years worth of journals and create my own book, and maybe it'll help people just like these two gals did for me today, reminded me who my source is and where serenity truly comes from. And that is the truth. The truth is, like it or not, we will never see unity until we return to our source, our creator, god, and begin to love like he did. Remember even his own family, even his own hometown rejected him.
Speaker 1:Do you feel rejected, humanity? Do you feel rejected by your own family? I feel that pain. It's harsh.
Speaker 1:But you know, every time I feel the rejection from one of my own children and I think to myself my own creation is rejecting me. And then I stop and think how God must feel, because, because ultimately he created us all right. If it wasn't for God, my seven children wouldn't be on this planet. And so mayhaps the rejection of my own children, not all of them and that's that hurt, that denial or that refusal to come into family, community, for whatever reason. I know that all of us are going through this process and I remember those days when I pointed my finger and said it was all my family's fault, it was my dad's fault, my mom let it happen and my siblings didn't want me around. And I lived that lie for most of my life and it was a lie. Because, you see, I let that matrix divide us and now all I can do is every day, pray against it and transform myself. So, humanityville, let's make bouquets of love and light and cover the earth. I love you. Have an awesome day.
