Five in the morning. Forty-four degrees. The alarm goes off and everything in me wants to stay under the covers instead of walking into a four-day Amazon shift. That’s where I start: the real world moment when my body says “no” and my mind is one thought away from a spiral. I share how the first minutes after you wake up can set the tone for your entire day, and why “take yourself between your ears to church” is more practical than it sounds. When we fixate on discomfort, outrage, and the constant drumbeat of bad news, we lose joy and peace. When we practice gratitude and train our attention, we start starving fear instead of feeding it.

Sunshine At Five A.M.

It seems a little crazy what I'm about to say. But Sunshine, she's here. So we can take a break from the Matrix. Because we can go into a hot air balloon that could go into space and we can be with the air like we don't care if we do a couple of things on this glorious Sunday morning. And I welcome you back in to Free to Just Be. And I am your host, Teresa Marie, a traveling ambassador of God's Chi. And what I do behind this mic is I share my everyday earth school lessons and everything that I am going through as I am awakening and learning that there is a different way to live. And I'm here to encourage my brothers and sisters out there in humanity that we are not alone as we are all going through this massive energetic shift that is occurring, like it or not, know it or not on planet Earth. So welcome to this beautiful Sunday morning. And yes, literally my flesh was crying that out. You are crazy. You can't say that sunshine's here. Why? Because it's five o'clock in the freaking morning and it's only 44 degrees here in Middle Tennessee. Like autumn, and to me it's like winter weather is back, and I'm not feeling the sunshine S U N. But the sunshine SON is reminding me that it's all a choice. So I want to open asking four questions of all of us, including myself, because since my eyes opened, and I'm gonna I'm gonna be honest, I did not want to open my eyes this morning. Why? Because my party's over. What party? Oh, working out in my yard and being home and working on my mission material and sitting behind this microphone. It's over. And to me that's like party time. And what I open my eyes to is the fact that on this cold Sunday morning, when I should still be laying in the bed with my husband, I have to go start a four-day shift in Amazon. And it's a choice. It's a choice to remind myself that this is temporary, that I'm not going to be there much longer, but I still have to get up and go do it. And it it sucks, okay? And now I could go down that avenue and I can enter into what most of us do here on planet Earth. Complain and grumble and look at all the don't haves and all the why do I have to and just uh right? And where will that take my energy? To the ground, folks. To the ground. So how do I get myself back up in the freaking hot air balloon, right? Well, ask yourself these questions. How are we shaping our lives every day? Do we want joy today? Do we want to overcome evil in the world? Which I don't know about you, but in my book, focusing on the evil in the world robs my joy. What about peace? Do we want some of that? Well, that's what I'm gonna talk about today, and uh you know, it's it's really on certain days, like every day we wake up, we have to take ourselves right between our ears to church. What are you talking about, Theresa Marie? Well, what I'm talking about is the mindset. What we do, especially in those first waking moments, sets the stage for the entire rest of the day. And the word of God is really clear about the way that we can have joy and peace and how we can shape our lives and literally overcome the evil in the world. And it's called thinking about good things. Now I've talked about this many, many times in in episodes about having a tool belt that you can pull out. And for me, I am preaching to myself this morning because I did. It's I spoke the words out of my mouth, you know, um, as the alarm went off. And my husband said, You know, are you hearing the alarm, babe? And I'm like, Oh. And he said, What's the matter? I said, I don't want to go, I don't want to go to this job. And he said, Oh, babe, that's all he said. And I know he was feeling me, because he has those days too. But it's a lot easier to feel that when you're the one that's gonna stay in the bed and not the one that has to get out of it, right? But it really is still you and I in the control seat, right? We are still in the control seat, and and it's it's kind of like um it's it's like a paradox because we do set the stage, and yet at the same time, we have to surrender the control. And it seems uh so unobtainable that we say, God, I don't know what you have for me in this day, but right now I am gonna control the atmosphere in my head, and how how do we do that? Well, let me let me tell you what the opposite is, and the word tells us in Romans 8.6 if we set our mind on the flesh, and what would that be? How we feel, oh, it's cold, I don't want to go, I hate this freaking job, when is it gonna be over? That's all flesh, right? And when we do that, it's death. It's death of the joy, it's death of our peace, it's death of our good attitude. But the other side of that verse says, But to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace. And I don't know about you, but I am tired of doing what the world tells me to do. And I want the sun, SON shine today in my life. So we need to practice. What is Romans 12.2 tell us? Do not conform to the pattern of the world, grumbling, complaining, calling out, saying, you know, I I don't I don't want to do this, so I'm not gonna. And then your life gets shaped by guilt and shame and not having enough money to pay your bills, right? Now I know that I know that I still need to be at this job because I am not quite ready to take care of my adult responsibilities solely on the things that I love to do, like speaking to my brothers and sisters in Humanityville, or creating my food forest in or on our property. But there is coming a time if I stay diligent and if I keep my eyes on the goal and I continue to walk with God, everything that I have dreamed and had visions about will come to pass. But we have to hold on until then, right? So today I want us to think about the good things that are happening. I want to bring in the Godhunt concept. I want us to think about how about we just take Sunday. You know, there are many people that will be in church today, and there are many that won't. And I know that even the many, many years that I went diligently two and three times a week to a church building, that I would still have a problem between my ears. Because, see, that's that's free will. And free will says if you want to think crap thoughts, be my guest. You have free will. But if you want to shape a life that's full of joy and peace and that overcomes evil on the planet, then you have to choose correctly. You have to do what Philippians 4.8 says, and that I'm gonna just address it right out there to my brothers and sisters. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever's pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Now, compare that to how life often goes. We get up, we open our eyes, and we don't want to get up. And the second we open our eyes, we think about that fact. Rather than thinking about, wow, I am in this warm bed with blankets and a pillow, and I'm laying next to my spouse who I love. I have all my senses, I'm healthy, and I don't have to look for a job. I have a job waiting for me where I can earn an income and pay my bills. But no, if you want, you can choose to think the crap thoughts like I did. That's that's what I started with. Uh and it wasn't right because there was no thankfulness there. I immediately pointed myself toward negativity. And might I add, the enemy is waiting, right? The word tells us that he prowls around and he he waits to leap on us. Up this one, she's she's really awake. She's talking to people about God. Oh MG. You had better get those demons out there, and the second, just stand right over her, and the second she opens her eyes, in fact, before she opens her eyes, start feeding her, start feeding her the crap, start giving her the negativity, right? This is the true battle. This is what we face moment by moment, Humanityville. And we have to choose different. We have to get out of the patterns that the matrix has entrapped us in, and we have to recognize them and stop setting our mind on all of those things, all the earthly things, all the matrix things, and start learning how to get in that hot air balloon, like Farrell Williams sang about in Happy. I feel like I'm in a room without a roof, because I'm happy, right? Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth. Because happiness is the truth, we can choose it every single day. And before I share the incredible good news story that I'm gonna start doing every Sunday morning, I'm just gonna ask in the beginning, how about on Sunday we practice? A lot of us are in church, a lot of us are home from work. So, how about we start thinking about the things that are true? I have great health. I'm still on the planet. Think about all the blessings that you have, count them one by one. Because you know what? If we focus on the good, everything changes. Everything changes. So on Sunday, if you go to church or not, how about on Sunday we just commit to not turn the news on? And we commit to finding God somewhere. And like I shared in a former episode, America bless God. You see, especially in America, we you know, we we constantly use that adage. It's an adage now, God bless America. Well, we forget that God not only blesses America, he blesses the world on a continuum. Every single second, there are blessings everywhere, and yet we constantly ask him, God bless America. And so just one day a week, how about we switch it and we say to ourselves, America, bless God, or the world, let's bless God. And how do we bless God? How about the simplicity of just being thankful, thankful for all the blessings that we have, because they are three thousandfold more than the evil they keep pumping in front of our face, right? Because, see, if they put that whirlwind, that matrix, and spin it and spin it and spin it, then we we can't see. Now think about it. Think about spinning around like when you were a kid on the merry-ground. Uh not the, you know, not the merry-ground with the horses, but the thing that, you know, your mom or dad would spin and you'd hold on, and everything, you know, it would become a blur. Well, that's what the enemy of our soul does. He pumps it and pumps it, evil, evil and and and bad and negativity until it's such a blur that we can't see what's really in the background, which is huge. It's everywhere. It encompasses the blur, right? But we can't see it because of that fog that we have allowed in our mind, on our hearts, and our emotions, right? And so every Sunday going forward, I'm gonna remind us to look at those things that make us happy. And I'm gonna bring up a story from around the world that talks about this happiness. And it's it's just so koinky-dinky. There's no koinky dinks in the world, ironically remind you. And there is joy everywhere. And so I opened up a site that's called Good News. And good news literally brings good news around the planet, and I highly suggest that you pull up a site like this and bookmark it, and pull up a YouTube thing that not only um inspires you but makes you laugh. Laughter is great medicine. But I I was looking, I was like, you know, I know that around the world there are good things happening, and none of that is ever brought on the news. Have you noticed that? It's always bad, it's always negative, it's always evil, it's always the horrible things that are happening, that's what they want us to focus on. Why? Because it tears our energy down, it robs our joy, and they get to feed on that fear and negativity and angst and anger, and let's quit feeding them. Let's fit fit, yeah, fit queing them. Quit feeding the darkness their food. And if we starve them, there'd be a lot more joy on the planet. How about that concept? So I'm gonna close with this little good news story and the synchronicity of the fact that Teresa Marie, who lives in Middle Tennessee, the very first good news story that I come upon is about a door dasher. And I door dash for almost two years, and I have told you in past episodes that there is coming a day that the abundance is so going to pour in my life that I am, without batting an eye, one day going to literally make a DoorDash order. Solely because I want somebody to deliver me something from DoorDash so that I can give that DoorDasher an a thousand I want to give a tip of a thousand dollars. That is my dream, and that's gonna happen one day because I know what it's like to be a DoorDash driver. I know what it's like to stand in fast food places and actually witness what's going on behind the counter and feeling terrible and and and and delivering poison to people, right? I know what it's like to drive in the rain or in the dark, or to be rushed because you're trying to beat a door dash um clock, or looking at the amount that I've earned and knowing that, oh my god, I'm gonna have to do five more orders before I can go home. And here it is, the first story. Not only is it about a door dasher, but it literally is in my backyard. This story comes from Manchester, Tennessee, which is about 40 miles away from me. And by the way, I have door dashed in Manchester, Tennessee. So I'm gonna read you the story. It's it's just phenomenal, and it just made me smile. So a woman had a door dash order brought to her house, and she was shocked to see an old man on her doorbell camera. Inspired to help, she discovered who this man was and set up a GoFundMe because this man had retired and let me let me go right to the story. Hold on one second. So what happened was she switched her doorbell camera on, and she was surprised to see an elderly man who she would later learn was named Richard coming up her porch in a red flannel shirt and khakis. And it could have been called a door dog. Order, as in his old age, he could hardly dash up the steps to her front door, and he needed help of the handrail for support. And uh she said, My daughter's dad is a quadriplegric, so he often has things sent to the house because he can't physically go get them. And she explained that Richard arrived at their house that day, and this poor guy is struggling to get up my stairs to deliver my very capable daughter her Starbucks coffee. So calling her daughter's father, Smith asked to leave a bigger tip, but the father replied that the opportunity through DoorDash was already gone. So she posts the video of her camera on TikTok so social media can see if anybody knew who this man was in Manchester. And she finds out that this man's name is Richard, reveals his identity and address, and she drives over to this man's house and offers a$200 tip, which would have made the story great on its own. But it got even sweeter than the Starbucks that this old man had delivered to this Manchester house. Because when she meets this man, he explains that his wife lost her job and that the two of them quickly went through their savings paying for the monthly expenses and costly medication that the wife had to take. So he took the DoorDash gig to try and supplement their income. And that's when this wonderful angel woman who saw him on her DoorDash, her um door camera, sets up a Go funding for this man, Richard, to get him back into retirement. And let me tell you, this woman raised like a million dollars for this man. And DoorDash finds out about it and adds twenty thousand dollars to the GoFundMundMe. She literally raised$940,000 to allow this man Richard to retire. Now you talk about goodness, you talk about miracles, you talk about the kindness of humanity. It's within all of us. And I just thought God was so cool to literally, you know, all right, oh yes, God, I'm gonna tell on myself. When I read this story, I'm gonna be honest. My first thought was a hit by the Matrix Evil, because my first thought was, what about me? How come nobody saw me struggling with my bad knee up a, you know, up the stairs of a DoorDash camera? Well, because that blessing wasn't for me. And I am still strong and able to walk up steps, even with my bad knee. And I had to rebuke myself and say, you know what, that's horrible. And as I read the story and I saw this old man, I thought, man, how cool is that? And then I thought about how one day I'm gonna do something similar with the DoorDash person. So today, as I am going to get dressed and get ready to roll into Amazon, I'm gonna go in with a great attitude. I'm gonna say to myself, you know what? This is just temporary because soon and very soon, all I'm gonna be doing is encouraging and motivating and helping my brothers and sisters in Humanityville. And I'm going to create this food forest to help hundreds of people in my little town here in Middle Tennessee. And it's a beautiful day to be alive, and I have all my mental capacities, and I can see good and I can hear, and I am so blessed. How blessed are you today? How positive can you be today? Where can you see God at work? There are miracles all around us. Let's not only find them, but let's magnify them, let's share them, let's be them today. And I hope that you are filled with the greatest health and the most vibrant energy today, and that today on your God hunt, not only do you find joy, but Humanityville, I pray you find peace.
