Do you ever think of God as stingy? Do you focus on the things that He hasn't given you? The opening scene of Genesis shows us a different view of God. As we see the waters teaming with life and the birds filling the sky and plants popping up everywhere from the ground, we see that God is a generous God and fills the world with ample abundance.

What is a "Day" in Genesis 1?
I know there are a lot of conversations going on about Genesis 1, and what the word "day" means. Is it twenty-four hours? Is there a different meaning? Here's the deal. Even if you and I had different opinions on how to answer that question, I'm guessing it wouldn't make much difference in how we live like the story is true.
Do you believe—as I do, that God created the world? If not, let's chat! I'd love to hear your thoughts. But if so, let's focus on living like it's true that we serve the God who both creates and fills.
