Joe Nickel has been professionally working in the entertainment industry since 2005 as a dancer, educator, and choreographer. He has danced for many companies including: Paramount's King's Island, Busch Gardens, Norwegian Cruise Line, Consol Energy, UPMC, American Eagle Outfitters, American Signature Furniture, and Nickelodeon. He was also featured dancing in the ABC Family made-for-TV musical "Lovestruck: The Musical" and most recently dancing on Netflix's "Archive 81". Joe is currently the owner and creative director of Thrive Dance Experience, serves on committee's for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and is the Chair of the Fundraising Committee for PaDEO.

Michelle is a former Miss New Hampshire herself, and competed in Miss America in 1996. She is also a former Radio City Rockette where she performed at Radio City Music Hall for 6 years. While there, she performed in the Macy's Day Parade, on the Today Show and the Isaac Mizrahi show. 

A former professor at Wagner College, she currently teaches at AMDA, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. She is a founding Thrive Dance Experience Faculty teacher. She continues to choreograph and teach throughout the northeast. Michelle has been judging for 20 years and tours the country as a master teacher and adjudicator. 

Michelle is the Performing Arts Director andHead of Dance at Camp Vega. She is also their Communications and Marketing Director. In her spare time she is the co-host for the podcast JAM Joe and Michelle’s Dance Podcast, which can be heard wherever you stream your favorite podcasts.
