Drinking is a distraction from what you really want
Hello beautiful friends! I have a solo episode today inspired by a podcast I recently listened to from Ed Mylett on distractions. I started to contemplate how drinking for me was often a distraction from what I really wanted.
My alcohol use kept me from
❌ creating the body I really wanted to have
❌ the connection I longed for in my relationship
❌ and ultimately being brave in my life
When I changed my drinking habit I really altered my ability to take risks and be courageous in my pursuit of my dreams. I came to realize that alcohol allowed me to get something for nothing. Meaning I didn't have to put in any work to feel good. And that type of distraction kept me flying under the radar of my own life.
If you think that you could have MORE of what you wanted if you changed your drinking habit...this episode will help shed some light on this for you!
If you'd like to listen to the podcast I referred to from Ed Mylett you can find it here and the part I found most compelling started at the time stampl 56:26.

PS. My client Erica has lost 30 pounds by staying focused and limiting distractions. She's changing her relationship with food and in her words “I'm no longer ruled by a fucking donut ” Today on our call she said “I know the weight will keep falling off with my consistency.” Focus is what keeps us consistent and coaching with me is what keeps you focused. No more distractions. In my world, we get what we want! If you want to feel fitter in your 40s than you did in your 20s, click the link here to book a time to talk to me about 1:1 coaching.
