What to do after dry January so you don't go right back to your old drinking patterns
Happy new year my friends! On this episode I talk about what you need to think about implementing if what you WANT is to change your drinking habit long term. I mean, if you're doing dry January I have to suspect you want a change right? Like you're not doing it JUST to prove you can...or are you??
My suggestion is to keep going!
Habits change with consistency and you most likely need MORE not drinking time especially if you're like I was and you've been drinking off and on for decades.
The most recent research says habit change takes anywhere from 60-360 days!
I personally suggest my clients do at LEAST 90 days away from alcohol, 6 months is better, and OMG a year...is life changing.
