Authentic Ecstasy
Wild, deeply soft, and untameable are all ways we can begin to describe the deep feminine nature we all hold within us. Host Elisabeth Serra has been creating spaces for women and men to embody this deep nature, and bridge the disconnection between the material and the spiritual; so that we can once again experience the sacred union of embodied consciousness. Dive deep into the river of wisdom and begin your own journey of self expansion into the intimate freedom that you already are.

To connect with the element of air, we look at our capacity to have a sense of space, emptiness and the void. In our external world there is constant stimulation and bombardment to the senses, and for many of us, this is creating a barrier to the spaciousness we deeply long for. “I need space", "I’m too full", "I need a break”, these are familiar statements because for so many of us, we have not been taught how to listen to the call from within, to touch that emptiness. Befriending this space, we can begin to experience the gap as a richness, as a place of abundance that gives us a sense of peace. We can receive all of the information, guidance, questions and answers we are longing for.

Welcome to the authentic feminine ecstasy podcast, where we explore our innate intimate freedom. And on this episode, we're going to be focusing on the element of air. And what I mean by this element is our capacity to have a sense of space, of the void, of the empty. And I'm always aware of when I go out into the world, whether I go shopping, or whether I go to a shop, of any kind, the amount of sound bombardment that we have out there is almost like nobody wants us to feel the stillness, the gap, the emptiness, and there is music, and there is this, and there is that. And, of course, we are in a complete environment, specially we live in cities of toxic sound, that is creating a barrier to this space we longed for. And it's even in our vocabulary, we say to each other, I need space, I need my space. I'm too full, I need a break. And that is a call from within, to to touch that emptiness. But in my experience, and with the people, I have the privilege to be working with. It is not easy to access this emptiness for us, we long for it, but it's been drummed into us that we need to avoid the void, any gap possible. And of course, now we have all these screens. And that's something I like to talk about, at some point, our screen addiction and how it takes our capacity to focus and how it takes us from being able to listen to the sound of silence. So what is in that gap? Once we can cross the bridge to this forbidden zone, that everybody makes sure that we don't listen, that we don't hear that we don't feel. And for me, in this gap, there is everything I'm looking for. It's almost that backdrop, the infinite cosmic intelligent backdrop that we're part of, and that we're made of, that holds everything. I love that sentence that somebody said once to me, which is "All that we see, all that is finite, and temporary, is a decoration for the infinite. So everything that's temporary, that we are chasing and running after and get so overly worried and preoccupied, becomes overwhelming, becomes a continual assault to our nervous system, if we don't have the sense of what all of these is being held by. And that's the gap. And that's the emptiness. And I believe that at some point in your life, whether you were at the top of a mountain, or whether you were in extreme sports situation, or having a passionate conversation with someone and you reached kind of a climax, whether that was a physical conversation or mental conversation, or emotional sharing, and you reach a point that something stops, and there is a gap. And that gap begins to make its presence known between yourself and the other as a richness, as a place of abundance that gives us a sense of peace.
And as I'm saying that I'm thinking about orgasm, you know, in French it's called "La Petite Mort", the little death. And it's that gap, the ego for a moment and a busy mind drops because you reach a height of release, of pleasure, that makes us stop. So my call to this inquiry today is how can I become friends? Again? How can I make intimacy with this silence with this void with this infinite in me, which is represented in the cosmos? I mean, have you noticed out there when the moon is up, or when the moon is down, and you see this, billions of stars out there, that we've been told that is infinite, it's enough to make your busy mind suspend its frenzy and just think, "Oh, my God, where am I? What is this." And in that moment, there is a door. That, of course, we don't continue to work through. Because we have this insidious programme, that this is a forbidden zone, or disease for some spiritual people or meditators, or some mystics. But you and I? The ones that go to work and have relationships and are busy on traffic jams and try to make the ends meet. That's not for us. We got to be busy shopping and, and chasing and, and continuously getting overwhelmed by life. That's maybe for when I'm older. Or it's not my turn in this lifetime. I mean, is that true? Is that true that I have to be somebody special. I got to be endowed or bless to be able to notice part of who I am. Because I am both. I am form, and I'm formless. I am noise, I'm silence. We are in a world of duality after all. So this episode it's a door, to take our power back. And despite the insistence on avoiding the void, I'm going to invite us in the next episode. And today by bringing that invitation to say, I want to know what's in this gap. I want to be able to tolerate the agitation that may come when I stop. I want to rest in that stop, pause, that is already inside me and see what it is that I'm running away from. But let's taste it first. Let's not avoid it by default, and see what it is for ourselves and begin this inquiry on this next two episodes. And I love to hear from you what you discover, as we together focus on the possibility of befriending the gap, befriending the space, befriending the air the emptiness where I believe, and not just believe, experienced, that I receive all the information, all the guidance and the questions and the answers that I'm longing for. So thank you for listening and let's begin to open this magical door.
