Soph: Welcome, welcome! Now, to get us all PUMPED- what's a funny Motherhood story for us?

Hays: We would love to hear about your passion for wellbeing, mental health and family health, how did you get inspired to do this work?

Soph: What is the number one question you get asked by parents?

Hays: Trauma in Motherhood- it can rear its ugly head in so many ways for any person  but particularly when becoming a new mum. Personally being a victim of crime- it has come up for me at times when I have least expected in my parenthood journey thus far- what do you find are the most common aspects of trauma that are exacerbated by Motherhood? What should mums do when they feel this trauma bubbling up from beneath the surface?

Soph: I’m super keen to get my hands on a copy of your book “Teaching Kids To Be Kind”. I am all about kindness and try everyday to be kind in any way I can. Can you share how this book came to life?

Hays: What advice would you give to any mum in or about to enter the fourth trimester/ especially if there is anything specifically pertaining to mental health that could help them in those long- sleep deprived nights?

Soph: From a child developmental perspective- What is something that may be surprising to our audience that parents forget to consider as their child grows?

Hays: Toddlers– that's not so far off for Soph and I eek! Can you share any tips with us and our audience on how to navigate big toddler feelings and relationships? I feel like Jude is already developing big emotions e.g he will start to crack it if he doesn’t get what he wants- my phone/ obsessed with the tv remote now that his fine motor skills are becoming more refined

Soph: Three words that summarize Motherhood for you?

Hays: Thanks so much for giving us your time. You can find out more about Rachel  www.towardwellbeing.com or on the gram @towardwellbeing
