240: 2026 runDisney Springtime Surprise Recap: LIVE from the Inaugural Rise and Run Cruise!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Merch sold out by lunchtime. “Perfect” status quietly returned. Someone built a race plan around getting a photo with Boba Fett. That’s the kind of wonderfully specific runDisney chaos we love, and we’re recapping it live from the inaugural Rise and Run Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas.
We break down the 2026 RunDisney Springtime Surprise weekend from the expo to the finish line, including what went smoothly, what still needs fixing, and how to think about merch strategy if you can’t arrive on day one. We also talk about the surprise perfect recognition, why messaging matters for long-time participants, and what runners can do when demand keeps feeding resellers. Along the way we share a big personal update, Greg’s honor of guiding a runner through the New York City Marathon, plus some of the sponsor support that makes these weekends and trips easier to plan.
Then we hit the races: the 5K with standout theming and costumes, the 10K from a cheering perspective with behind-the-scenes finish line logistics, and the Inside Out themed 10-miler that closes the runDisney season with moody lighting, core memory vibes, and character stops that spark big feelings. Star Wars energy shows up loud through character lines, which leads to our ongoing debate about whether a full Star Wars race weekend could return and what might be standing in the way.
We finish with a rapid-fire race report, a live trivia contest that doubles as a weirdly fun Rise and Run history lesson, and plenty of moments that remind us why the runDisney community keeps growing. Subscribe for more runDisney race weekend recaps, share this with a friend planning their next Disney running trip, and leave a review with your favorite Springtime Surprise moment.

Live Show Kickoff And Welcome
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it is. All right. Episode 240. Y'all, sit down now, stop dancing. I know that theme music has y'all up in the aisles. Hey, the the normal theme that we've used since episode 200, I got I wanted to ask this in front of a live audience for a while. You know, it kind of has an intro, and then the the singer goes, uh, we belong in the rhythm of this song, and then he stops. When he goes rise, who else does it like me? Rise and rise. Every time I hear that, I gotta throw my hands in the air. Hey, episode 240 Rise and Run Podcast. Welcome, everybody. We're glad you're here. I'm Bob, and I'm here with Alicia.
SPEAKER_08Hello.
SPEAKER_05With Greg. Hey, hey, hey. And with uh John.
SPEAKER_06Hey guys, how are we doing?
SPEAKER_05Obviously, this week we're live. What we want to do this week is recap the 2026 Run Disney Springtime Surprise weekend. We're gonna get the audiences here involved by doing a little rise and run trivia here towards the end.

SPEAKER_04The Rise and Run Podcast is sponsored by our glorious friends over at Magic Bound Travel. Give me that for Magic Bound for helping organize this amazing cruise. Now, obviously, not totally cruise uh related here, but uh, you know, we got really lucky because, you know, on last week's episode, I was like, hey, any day now, Disney's gonna release the broom block for 2027, so you know we could, you know, get rooms for marathon weekend, and then literally, of course, the next day,
Travel Deals And Sponsor Shoutouts
SPEAKER_04that's when it goes live. And apparently, according to sources, uh, Disney didn't inform any of the travel agents that that was gonna happen. So that was real fun. But again, your Magic Bound agent is standing by. So if you're ready to get you know rooms booked for Marathon Weekend, we already have the dates for Princess and uh you know springtime as well. So you know, be sure to get on those. But the other thing that dropped while we were here on the cruise is that Disney Cruise line has some deals uh starting this uh, I think it's later in the fall into early 2027 that kids can sail 50% off during select sailings through, I think it's March of next year. So if you've been itching to get on the cruise and you know you got a little one in tow, reach out to Magic Bound and they'll get you all squared away. And again, that's MagicBoundTravel.com. And again, Magic Bound, thank you for all of your organization and helping get the inaugural Rise and Run cruise out into the out into the sea.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Now, what if you just act like you're 10 years old? Can you no?
SPEAKER_06I'm all in.
SPEAKER_05Oh well, that'll have to do. All right, gang. Let's see. Training updates. According to your training schedule, we have no training updates. It'll be that way for a little while. But we have Bird and Hen coming up. We do. We have we have events, I'm sure you have events. The events will move north now as the weather starts to get a little bit warmer. So I know there's plenty going on. Kind of a little
A Surprise NYC Marathon Announcement
SPEAKER_05bit of a doldrums thing. But uh, Greg, you had something you wanted to mention as a training update.
SPEAKER_04Yes, uh, and actually, this is going to be a surprise even to my co-hosts here. But I am very, very fortunate. Uh, I am honored and proud. My beautiful friend Rachel over there. This is gonna sound really inappropriate. Do you want to take your jacket off? So, Rachel was one of the very few one percenters that got into the lottery for the New York City Marathon. But I've had this honor in the past, you know, there are times, especially in loud races, where Rachel can use a guide, you know, to stay safe, even though sometimes she hears better than I do sometimes. But she asked me a couple of weeks ago if I would guide her for the New York City Marathon, even though I have been getting rejected over and over and over by charities. I still have hope out there for one more, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on, but I was absolutely floored uh that she asked me, and Rachel, I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity. You mean the world to me, and I can't wait to take you through all five boroughs and uh and finish strong in Central Park. So, yeah, so I will be running the New York City Marathon uh this fall. So I'm very excited for that. So again, Rachel, thank you so much. That's a good one, man. That's a good one. Congrats to both of you.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's great.
SPEAKER_04I was but she did all the hard work, so yeah. She she filled out the online form. Did you take your jacket off, Brad?
SPEAKER_05No, maybe later. I don't know what made me think of this while you asked Rachel to unjip her jacket, but Brad and I were talking before we started recording here. He asked me if this is the first time we've recorded on a platform that was moving as we recorded. And uh the answer to that is no. Not a lot of motion in this ship, just a little bit, just enough to let you know you're not on solid ground. I did think, though, this is the first podcast I've ever recorded in my bathing suit. Anybody even though your pool's only like a couple of feet from your windows. Right, you do record. That's true. But I think this is the first one. Anybody else? No? No. Okay. Later.
Gift Bags And Cruise Crew Thanks
SPEAKER_05Okay. All right. I want to take a minute in this opening block to uh to thank our friends and affiliates and sponsors who helped fill out those gift bags that you got when you first got on board the ship. I want to thank uh Mona from Mona Moon Naturals who had the lip balms in there. Tom Stokes. Tom Stokes, a good friend of the podcast and a good friend of many people here. Tom does coaching for us, and Tom offered uh discounts for his uh one-on-one coaching or his group coaching.
SPEAKER_01Um upcoming challenge, $50 off, which I think makes it a really good deal, so check that out. Um then if you want the upgraded one, it's it's some money off.
SPEAKER_05So uh huh.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_05So thanks to Tom. I want to thank Hannah from Startlinco.com who gave us those temporary tattoos, which I forgot were in the bag. I need to put some on. They're they work really, really well. People ask, do they stay on? They stay on, it's hard to get them off, but but they do stay on. And roaming around here, oh I see she's in the back, our friend Pam from Zen Grove and Fluffy Fizsies. Uh, she had some items she was handing out, and now, of course, she has some items that she's handed out here at the podcast. And we appreciate all of those sponsors. Thank you for helping us out. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_06And we need to thank Judy for helping put those. Oh, absolutely. Thank you, Judy.
SPEAKER_05100%. 100%. Judy and Jim. Yep. Judy and Jim put all those together and brought them here for us. Judy and Jim uh renewed their uh wedding vows on the first day. 25 years, kids? 35. 35. Still kids.
SPEAKER_02Congratulations.
Springtime Surprise Expo Recap
SPEAKER_02Caution runners, change of topic ahead.
SPEAKER_05Well, listen, we just finished Springtime Surprise. This would typically be our recap episode. We've strayed from some traditions, but let's keep that one alive and talk about how things went at Disney World for Springtime. So we'll kick it off. We always kick it off with the expo. Alicia, you were there day one of the expo.
SPEAKER_01I was there day one of the expo, and I don't know if Rachel, not this Rachel, that Rachel, and I got to um experience it a little bit together. She was on the bus with me, so we traveled on the bus and then stood in line um to get our bibs together. So that was fun to get to to meet a listener um and to to get to talk. But yeah, the first day of the expo was good. I got to get my bib and get my shirt before I went to the actual um Run Disney merchandise.
SPEAKER_04Um did you get a John Q number or or no?
SPEAKER_01Kind of. I mean, not as good as John, but I got 41. So that's good enough. Yeah, yeah. Um but it went really smoothly. I got even for the Run Disney merch, I got in right away. Um once I got into there, I was surprised they didn't have the windy cue. And so everything was like everything went well. No, no labyrinth inside, no. Oh wow, yeah. Interesting. Um it went down the hall a bit, but otherwise, yeah, it was it was pretty smooth. So I was happy with my experience.
SPEAKER_05I had a unique experience at the expo. We pull in. My wife's had some back problems, and most of the times okay, but it's enough that she has a uh placard, handicapped placard for her vehicle. And so we use it at the expo. I pull in, it's it's up there, and I go to get out of my car, and here comes a fella coming going, here, sir, let me help you. So I'm thinking, you know, he sees this old gray-haired guy getting out of a car, handicapped placard. He thinks I need help, and I'm going, thank you, but I really don't. Tom Stokes. Smart Alec. Yeah, so that was fun. We got in. I oh gosh, I'm not gonna try to bring things down. I miss Jeff. I I'll I'll miss him every run. We all will, but uh not super crowded.
SPEAKER_01No, it wasn't too bad.
SPEAKER_05Not super crowded. I want to again thank Jim and uh yeah, Jim Judy for we traded off numbers to get in the virtual cube. I I don't know if you're supposed to do that or not. But it worked. Becky wanted a pair of shoes. Princess Weekend, the shoe line was legendary. This weekend, not so much. It was pretty much walk-up. We probably were in line a total of 10 minutes to get her her shoes, so that worked out pretty much. Which ones did she end up with? She got the yellow ones. Oh, uh Tigger and Pooh.
SPEAKER_01Tigger and Pooh. I wanted those so bad, but they weren't adrenalines.
SPEAKER_04No, they're ghosts. Yeah. Yeah. Well, if you want, my wife bought a pair and she would gladly sell them to you. Is that okay, sweetie?
SPEAKER_05So, expo that's really all I remember about it, but it was a good expo. It wasn't terribly crowded. Things were fun. Any, I'm gonna ask, I'm gonna go off script. Any expo memories in the crowd? Anything exciting? Any stories you'd like to share? We can edit this out if there aren't any.
unknownIt was my first time meeting my athlete that I was gonna guide on.
SPEAKER_05Oh, okay. It was the first time Brandy got a chance to meet the athletes that she's got. Brandy's been guiding for Achilles for uh six months or so. Yeah, that's cool stuff. That's very rewarding. Thanks for doing that, Brandy. That's that's really a neat thing, and I know you enjoy it too. So you've met your athlete here. Learned all about and I'm repeating because I I know it's not coming through here. Uh met her athlete, your athlete used an A-linker. And a seizure disorder. Yeah. Yeah. And did you bust her A-linker or did she bust it on her own? Because I know it broke. I know it broke. Yeah, it broke. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Was that Gretch Wolf?
unknownSight on scene.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So someone sight on scene, Randy had an athlete, guided this athlete, they met there, and all three races? All three races they ran together. So that's pretty that's pretty cool. What do you got, Heather? Oh yeah. Heather Heather had a chance to introduce a first-time Run Disney participant to the expo. Highly recommend it if you get a chance to do it. It gives it's like it's like uh seeing it through a new set of eyes and going to the expo for the first time again. Oh yeah, John, you you said you had some hot takes on this. So Jason points out that to the surprise of many, they were giving perfect bibs to perfect challengers and perfect ten milers. And perfect ten milers, yes. To the surprise of I think everybody, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Thought back on the first time they're bringing Springtime Surprise in, there was an email that went out that said due to the races having different distances and everything going on with Springtime Surprise, there would be no perfect status for this event.
SPEAKER_01I have multiple emails that say that. I sure did.
SPEAKER_06So, okay, I skipped the weird, okay, but I'm not gonna get perfect anyway, and now boom.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01John and I are in the same boat, but it's okay.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But you're already perfect to begin with.
SPEAKER_01I know, that's what I said. I don't need to be perfect.
SPEAKER_05I understand the frustration, I do. I the third springtime surprise, third or second, I can't remember, was like eight weeks after I had my knee replaced. I couldn't have done it anyway, but I I would have been kind of disappointed if uh and I think a lot of people were. I think a lot of people like John said, ah, I'm gonna skip it since there are no perfect. But to those of you who got it, great. Congratulations, that's good. You earned it, you deserved it. And for those of us who missed out, well, we'll just have to wait till they start another race series. I'm not gonna make many. I'm not gonna make many of them anyway. So what the heck? All right, yeah, so we had the perfect.
unknownSo does that mean they're gonna squash any rumbles and rumors about bringing Star Wars back?
SPEAKER_05Well, they squash rumors about bringing Star Wars back. Gosh, I have I have no idea, but I turned I turned to my right and asked the Star Wars expert. What do you think, John?
SPEAKER_06They have to bring it back. When we get to the uh 10 miler, I'll talk about it, but we'll hold it for the podcast.
SPEAKER_08Talk about all the merch being sold out by 12 30 on the first day of expo day.
SPEAKER_05Taylor says a lot of merch was sold out just a little afternoon on Expo Day. Uh it did sell it right.
SPEAKER_01I had people I grabbed a couple of different sizes because I don't ever know for my Disney merch, and when I brought the other ones back, I had people literally grab them out of my hand because they were out.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, Taylor, I was definitely gonna bring that up because I've been joking with some on the cruise here that you know I've officially let go of my my rant every race weekend about there not being electrolytes on the 10K course. But I had I have a new gripe to to pick. And I mean, Expo for me was smooth. We didn't get there until almost five o'clock on Friday, so it was a much more chilled atmosphere. And you know, my wife and I were only there for maybe gosh, an hour, if so. But we decided to change it up because you know we had gotten in reports and you know, thankfully we had some personal shoppers. Uh again, thank you, Rachel and Tara and uh and Allie for uh for helping us out there. But yeah, it was it was Slim Pickens, you know, and then I mean I think I looked at the 10 miler shirt because that was the only race that I was running, and I liked it, but I didn't love it for $45. So I also then enlisted the services of my other personal shopper, Kay, when she goes into the outlets, you know, every once in a while, then we'll you know give her reports. I'm like, hey, if this shows up in this size, let me know and get it. So that's just it's just so frustrating on the fact that, and I feel like it's not even just a springtime surprise issue, it's a mold, you know, like they know the number of people that are registered for the races based on registration, they have our shirt sizes. So it I feel like you know they could do, you know, or have the appropriate amounts. I understand they have profit margins that they need to hit, but let's face it, even if this stuff ends up in cast connections or ends up at the outlets, they're still making a profit on it. So it's you know, it's not like they're giving it away for free, but I again I understand you know limiting stuff and such. The new mantle I want to take up with, and granted, I understand that Bob, John, and I are not the main target audience of Run Disney. This is news to me. But Run Disney, if you are listening, especially the merchandise team, can the men get some character in their shirts? This is the second, at least my second race weekend in a row, where the men's merchandise, in terms of like the generalized weekend, was the lamest thing I have ever seen before. Like, I remember Marathon weekend, the men's weekend shirt was just the open book with like the font logo. No characters on it. Now, the weekend shirt for the men here was silhouettes of the characters, and that was it. But yet, like the women's tank for the general weekend had all the characters and their full faces and everything like that. So I don't like I understand like you don't want to go too hard on it that like it turns people off, but at the same time, I feel like they've just gone to the absolute other extreme. So let's let's try to find that happy medium there. But again, from in terms of the quantities, Taylor, I agree with you. They they need to be better about that because there are people, you know, like you know, John and I did not fly in until Friday. I didn't go to the expo until Friday. John didn't go until Saturday. We all should have the ability to buy the merchandise that we want when we arrive at the expo. And I I grant I know there are the resellers, and I know there's you know chance out there that you know, at least on day one, you should only be able to have a bib to get in. I I don't look from a logistic standpoint, I don't know how feasible that is, but we have to figure out a way that all runners should have the ability to buy the merch that they want and not have to buy it through a reseller or on the Run Disney Facebook marketplace or something like that.
SPEAKER_06So I came in Friday night, so I went 11 o'clock on Saturday when I was walking up. They were walking out with the display cases stuff, the all the signs, all the stuff that they had for display. So I'm like, there's never gonna be a chance for me to see any kind of merch in there. So luckily, my personal shopper got the only item I needed. Thank you, Alicia.
SPEAKER_01You're welcome.
SPEAKER_06Uh but yeah, I'm like, that's the one thing I because I talked to Greg. Greg said there was like nothing in there when he went there. So I'm like, why even bother? Try to spend some time there. Wasn't getting the sneakers, but the interesting thing was when I did get there, they made us go through the stadium and through the zigzag. Yeah, right. That's crazy, eh? Right. He had to go through the maze. The maze. There's no one in the maze. Then when I walked out, they're letting him in the front door. Yeah. I'm like, okay, thank you.
SPEAKER_05The maze was done. They waited for John to be remembered. That's what they did. That's pretty much it. And while I get your your editorial, I get it. I want to correct one thing. Anytime you put on a Disney shirt, Disney has a character in their shirt.
SPEAKER_04I will say the one last thing I wanted to make mention about the expo, and I think this is very appropriate because we're on the cruise. So you know how there's videos on the internet of peer runners, you know, that are trying to get on this ship very, very last minute. My wife and I learned that at a Run Disney Expo, there are expo runners. The number of people that we saw running through like the main, I mean it's not security, but like that main checkpoint even before you hit the Advent Health Arena. Wait, we said we counted seven people.
unknownAnd there were seven minutes left.
SPEAKER_04That were yes, seven minutes to go before the expo closed that were hauling butt to get up so they can get their bids. Get their bids. So yeah, so not only are there peer runners, but there are also expo runners as well, too. All right.
SPEAKER_05The goofy movie medal for the virtuals. Oh yes.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we we did do uh apologies and alibis on this episode. But yeah, I I guess I I do owe Run Disney an apology, but at the same time, though, they should have been brave enough to put power line on the front of the medal and not have to open it up to uh reveal the surprise. But the springtime surprise, even though it was virtual button. But again, they all sold out, so it doesn't really matter what I guess I have to say. They don't really don't care.
SPEAKER_02Caution runners, the topic is about to change right now.
5K Costumes And On Course Moments
SPEAKER_05All right, let's move on. Let's move on to the 5K first race of the weekend. The 5K. I did it. I think it's just me. It's just you about the stuff. There were others out there on the 5K, plenty of others. Uh any thoughts on the 5K? I'll share, I don't have many. I'll share mine in a moment, but uh I'll let you all go first. Because that's what I do. When I'm doing that, I'm stalling for time so I can think of something to say. So any thoughts on the 5K?
unknownFantastic theming.
SPEAKER_05Great theming.
unknownThe backup dance, absolutely.
SPEAKER_05Oh, those were the mammal.
unknownBarney mammal.
SPEAKER_05I'm missing.
unknownYou don't know the Zootopia.
SPEAKER_01The backup dancers for Zoom.
SPEAKER_05You just watched the movie, Bob. Oh, Zootopia. Zootopia, yeah. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01What's the theme?
SPEAKER_05What did I miss? You missed a laptop.
SPEAKER_04The cruise is over. The the gazelle, uh, the gazelle dancers that were part of the theming. So Gazelle is the Shakira character. Yeah, right, at the end, right, right.
SPEAKER_05What the heck did I dress as? Oh, yeah, I took the easy route out and dressed as Nick Wilde. That was fun. But that was that was kind of easy. In fact, I like I'm gonna wear that costume again. Probably minus the tie, but I liked it.
SPEAKER_00I dressed as Gazelle and uh got great pictures with the burning man backup dancers. And then after I got a cat, back to my hotel, and I got in the Uber, and the guy said, Oh my god, are you the devil?
SPEAKER_08Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_05I get it. Brandy dressed as Gazelle for the 5K, got a picture with the backup dancers. Now I remember them. Now that she mentioned it at the backup dancers. I remember seeing them. And then she says when she got it, uh, her Uber to go back, the Uber driver thought she was dressed as the devil. So, yeah, tell them to watch the movie. It's cute. Uh 5K was warm but not bad. Actually, the weather was pretty nice. Uh and it it went pretty well. It's really uh it's 5k, that's all I've got on it. Uh we had more friends at the 10K, I think,
10K Cheering And Finish Line Logistics
SPEAKER_05now. Well, yes and no.
SPEAKER_04I I was there cheering. Right? Because because Greg insert monorail PR bell here. My wife finished her first 10K, and I am incredibly, incredibly proud of her.
SPEAKER_01Ready to go, Meredith.
SPEAKER_04Good job. I'd have her come up here and do the race report spotlight, but I also don't want to get divorced on this crazy. So but I mean, I I came to the family reunion area. It was so great to see so many friends and see the costumes. I I was shocked by the number of people that listened to Run Disney and wore pants for this because that was the that was the biggest thing. But yeah, so once everyone went off, I just you know stood back in the family reunion area. Boy, it sure does get lonely in there once you all go to the corrals. But but this is my first time actually cheering in the start-finish line area. So that because the only other time I've done it is at the TTC. So this was a brand new experience for me. But the one thing that I found incredibly intriguing, though, was some of the logistics of what happens in terms of the communications between Track Shack, Run Disney, and then the the announcing team. So the winner, or uh let me rephrase it, the winners are done with this race before the last runner goes off. So it's not John and Carissa and Riley and Tracy at the finish line. You know, it's usually you know the fourth or fifth member of the team that are calling everybody in. And what I could see because I was right at the that final turn, like that final photo pass turn, like right when you before the straightaway, I was like right where like the trams would pick you up. And I could see out of the corner of my eye, there would be an official holding up what I described as like a green lightsaber or like a mini lightsaber. And that was to indicate to the announcing team that the winner was coming through. So then that way, if there was other runners, you know, so say it was like first female, but there was maybe other you know male runners coming through or such, they could guide them off to the sides so that they could get the photo, get the banner out, shoot off the confetti, and such like that. But then that was also again the indication to the announcing team hey, we got to make a big deal out of this. So I thought that was really, really cool. Uh, you know, love cheering in so many friends. Uh, and I do apologize because you know, I had this whole list of people that I wanted to uh put in, and I knew probably one of the first people to finish, because he's here on the cruise right now, is our buddy JJ from Argentina. And I literally looked down at the check on tracking, and I look up and I see this blur go past my face, and I'm like, crap, that was JJ. So I made a joke with him afterwards, and then he had to correct me, and I think he he's due some congratulations here. Ladies and gentlemen, this man came in 10th place during the 10k. The way to go, JJ. He finished before I started. Yeah. Yeah, you did it, what, 3952 or something like that? Yeah. Wow. And and this man just ran you 100K a couple weeks ago? Yeah. You're insane.
SPEAKER_05He's hanging with us. Yeah, that's true. That is true. I don't have any particular memories of the tank A. I got at a last minute my friend Stephanie uh hooked me into and hooked me up with a last-minute costume. Uh several people thought I was perhaps the tallest piglet in Walt Day. Not true. Before the race, I met a young man, I do not remember his name, who was at least an inch taller than I am. I say young man, I'm I use that phrase a lot these days. Uh but this young fellow was in his 20s, early 20s, and uh he was good 6'6. So he was he he takes the title of the world's tallest piglet. I uh I have no specific recollections. Again, I thought the race temps were okay, started to get a little warm.
SPEAKER_04I thought your khaki shorts were a bold choice.
SPEAKER_05Uh the what?
SPEAKER_04The your khaki shorts then.
SPEAKER_05Those were pink. Well, I those were pink.
SPEAKER_04But but they were khaki material though, correct?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, the the story behind that is uh it was last minute, and Stephanie shows up at the front of Pop's entry with this shirt that she had put an iron-on applique on so I could be piglet. Oh, and she had ears also, that was cute. And uh so I went back to the room to try it on, and when I try it on, I realized that the shorts I'm wearing at the time, my walking shorts, my cargo shorts, were a dead-on perfect match. So I just, what the heck, I'm not gonna run anyway. So I went through that way. So we finished up the 10K. Other 10K comments? Oh, yeah, we have Mini or Kimono, yeah, kimono mini was out there with the appropriately long line for photos, but that's a rare opportunity. Laura wanted to tell us that she darn near had an experience with the balloon ladies because of kimono mini. Mickey. Mini. Mini. Mini kimono mini. Yeah. Nevertheless, she had no problem outpacing them the second half of the five 10K. And everything went well. That was nice, though.
SPEAKER_02Caution runners, change of topic ahead.
Disney Springs Meetup And Cookie Stories
SPEAKER_0510K ends, and then we ought to get together at Disney Springs. Ah, it's always it's always such a pleasure. It genuinely is. We spend uh Becky spends a couple days making those cookies. She's not she's not here, she's on the cruise, of course. So sh don't repeat this part, okay? Um and she doesn't listen to the podcast, no problem. But she puts a heck of a lot of effort into that, and I think I think she likes it. I do. I think she likes it. I know she likes the appreciation that you all express. Do you like it too? Yeah. All right, that Becky, that was for you, so I'll let you listen, okay? Brian commented about the gluten-free cookies that that Becky makes, that they're a chocolatey, a fudgy chocolatey chocolate, gluten-free cookie. And she's made those for a while. But the first couple times she made them, we labeled them gluten-free. And none of y'all tried them. But then, two, I think it was Princess Weekend, I forgot to label them. And they were gone in a heartbeat. And so henceforth, we don't label them, and but we make a lot more. Now, I also would be remiss, we have good friends from our area, Kristen and Richard. You see them at every meetup. Richard's about as tall as I am, and Kristen's there. They come with their uh Richard's son uh Barrett sometimes. They come and join the party and help with decorating those sugar cookies, the shoes and the balloons and all that. That's an all-day effort, too, by golly, I'll tell you. We're we're becoming very artistic with the house. But but we appreciate we and the love in of the meetup is just that. It's the love of everybody getting together, and I really truly feel it, and it means it means a great deal to me. So thank you for being there. You never disappoint. Alicia, what did you count in the photo you said?
SPEAKER_01I counted roughly 105 people, but there was some behind other heads, and so that was a very rough count.
SPEAKER_05Right, and there's always folks who leave before, and there's always folks who come after. So you can usually add about 10% to that. And for springtime surprise, that's a really big thing. Okay, I think that has to be a record. That's a really big total. We had uh we did 200 at Marathon Weekend. Right. Yeah. I here's another one I shouldn't say out loud. We we've been blessed with the weather. We uh Yeah, John's knocking, he's right. Um I've I've looked into alternatives, but there's nothing really viable to house that many of us. The second thing is if we went any commercial place, we wouldn't be allowed to bring the cookies. They wouldn't allow the outside food in. So well, let's uh let's keep praying for the great weather. Uh let's enjoy the meetups when we can, and let's move on to Sunday and the last race of the Run Disney season, and the next to the last item on the shirts that John made, the Happy Running Tour 2025-26, the 10 miler.
10 Miler Inside Out Highlights
SPEAKER_05Now, everyone here was involved in the 10 miler, so I can stop talking about it. Alicia will tell us about it though. Yeah, ladies first.
SPEAKER_01So I actually stay with John. Um, so John, you can step in too and um talk about it. But we did 3030 intervals, and overall it was a great race. Um, I had hurt my knee two weeks before, so I didn't know how that was gonna go. Um it ended up kind of aching a little bit, so I was glad that I was with John and um could do the intervals. But yeah, overall I I really enjoyed it. I got random yellow bracelets from somebody on the course. If you are a listener, thank you. If you're not, thank you. Anyway, yeah. But yeah, it was fun. Um I saw quite a few people on course. That's always fun to spot people and say hello. Um, but yeah, we were in the corral with Bob and quite a few people, Stephanie. There is a a decent sized group.
SPEAKER_05There's a handful of folks there, and you you're making the same mistake I make. You start naming people and you're yeah.
SPEAKER_01But overall, I mean it was a great race. I felt like I really liked the inside out theme. Um, I thought when it was still dark and they had the different color lights, that was really cool. I took a video of the core memory balls. Um, but yeah, I overall it was it was a great end to the race week race season? There we go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Okay, so before the race, someone sneaked out a uh list of the characters on the course. Boba Fett was there. So, you know, that was my A goal is always I gotta finish the race. My B goal is I need a pitch with Boba Fett. So like Bob's like, we're gonna do 15 30s. I go and maybe walk a mile. I go, no, I gotta get the someone said the characters for the last two days have been in order of on this list. So I'm like Boba Fett's a second to last. I'm like, why would he be in Epcot? Makes no sense. So I said to Alicia, main goal is to get to get to uh hopefully Galaxy's Edge and see Boba Fett. Luckily the Millennium Falcon was there before we got there, with that was Greg, David, and uh where you're going right and wait, I was waiting that line. We only probably had like a five, five, ten minute length. He goes, guys, join us. Come on over. So we got in line, got got Boba Fett in the dark, so it was a really good picture. So that was my one of the highlights of that race. But you also had to get a solo photo. Yeah, we made sure John got a solo picture. Yeah, how to get a solo photo. Photo come out good? Of course it did. All right, good.
SPEAKER_05It's only a question, right?
SPEAKER_06You know, I'm with Boba Fett. That's like number two on the list. Behind me? Behind you. Of course, that might be that might be a little further. Uh but uh but going back to the question, Star Wars. So who is the uh I guess race theme? Inside out. You had uh sadness and joy, pre-race, getting pictures. You had R2D2 and C3PO pre-race, triple the line. What is that telling you? We need Star Wars. Disney, if you hear us.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Disney needs to be a good thing. So they can sell these tickets faster. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like that that's a problem. Well, John, I will say I don't think your dream's gonna come true for 2027 because walking around the expo, they had a like a billboard up of like the font or like the font logo for springtime for next year. It did not scream Star Wars to me at all whatsoever. So, but may and I understand why 2027 makes sense, 50th anniversary of New Hope being released, but maybe you can get 2028. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.
SPEAKER_06I don't know, you know, the Star Wars mile, people are jacked about it. Come on, guys.
SPEAKER_04I remember listening, it was a couple of years ago, I think it was um Kristen and Devin's podcast, um uh Run Fit Fab, they were talking the or they interviewed Carissa and they were talking about her experience with the Disneyland races and also Star Wars. And apparently, doing a Star Wars-themed race is a logistical nightmare because Lucasfilm has so much control over the script, the characters that you can use and such. Now, I mean, obviously, that is owned by Disney, but I guess it has to go through like so much more I guess regulatory review or something like that. So I bet it it could be a pain in the butt for Run Disney to do it. But again, at the same time, as you said, there's proof in the pudding in terms of the length of character lines and and such, and the fact that they're doing the Star Wars mile during marathon weekend. You know, they I mean, again, these races still sell out in the day, but it would sell out even faster.
SPEAKER_05There's still clearly a desire for it. Whether it happens or not, we never have inside info. Correct. Uh so we we can only hope. Okay, you can't. I I see what you did there. Give you a new hope. A new hope.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Uh I don't I really have nothing to add on the 10 miler in interest of time here. Uh I'll pass any comments on the 10 miler. I mean, 10 miler for me went pretty well.
SPEAKER_04Um I I I didn't realize I was in such a uh uh esteemed group. Uh what did you say that I was, John?
SPEAKER_06Oh, I was the Falcon. Millennium Falcon.
SPEAKER_04I was the Falcon.
SPEAKER_06Best a ship in the galaxy.
SPEAKER_04No, uh, but I I agree with you, Alicia. What I really appreciated about this race weekend when I saw the the leaked list was that Bing Bong was going to be there. And obviously, you know, as I mentioned on the podcast during the The March Madness, obviously Inside Out is huge for me. It's the reason why my daughter is named Riley. You know, the fact that I could take Riley to the moon, I you know wanted to make sure that that was my non-negotiable. Like I told the group that I was running with that I had to see that. Was not expecting Bing Bong in the first half mile. Um but I you know I was lucky I had a POT for this weekend, so I was M B. So and the line was pretty darn long, but it it moved at a pretty good clip. I I want to say we waited maybe a max 10, 15 minutes or so. So really, and that was even with a I don't want to say swap out, but Bing Bong having to go take a break. Oh, yeah, right. Yeah. But no, going back to the theming across the entire race week. I mean, I love the core memory balls, and again, we were talking about the gazelle dancers and the honey pots, and they they really did step up their game, you know, and even going back to Princess, you know, I saw the the videos of the like you know, the Polynesian drummers and you know Komono Mini, you know, had the the you know the Japanese drum crew that we've seen at other races before, but but I thought they really knocked it out of the park there. But no, so I I was really glad to see that they had Bing Bong out there because I've only ever seen Bing Bong in um the Pixar Place Hotel out in Disneyland. I mean, I think they they had them out for Jollywood nights, I think, or it was it was one of the ticketed events. So I thought that was really cool that that they brought them out. Um, but the race itself went well. I was very thankful that last year we were the Hercules baristas and I was Pegasus. So last year I bought a blue wig, and for the first time I pulled a bob and re-wore a wig uh for a race, but doing it for a 10k and a 10 mile are two very different things. Uh and I think at about a quarter quarter of a mile into the race, I was like, well, this is only being worn for photopass photos and inside the park, and if not, that thing is uh coming off. The thing that I learned though was that the wig wasn't uh my biggest issue of the day, and that was uh we were all standing in line at mile nine and a half for the uh for the uh Spaceship Earth photo, and um the group looks at me and goes, Greg, are you okay? And I'm like, Yeah, I'm fine. Why? They're like, look down. I had two very bloody nipples because I I made I made a mistake uh that you know that we tell you on the podcast all the time, nothing new on race day. And I got very, very lucky because in my weight loss journey, I do not buy anything full price. I will only buy things off the clearance rack, and I was in old navy, and I found a perfect pair of shorts that were the color of joy. And I was like, boy, only if they had a shirt to match this. And lo and behold, my daughter goes walking around the store and finds the matching shirt. Now that was full price, but I was willing to pay $11 for it. But I figured, you know, it wasn't, you know, it was, you know, the old Navy line of athletic shirts. I was like, this isn't gonna be that big of a deal. Apparently, it was that big of a deal. Uh and yeah, so needless to say, um, so I'll admit it now. Uh, yes, um, the the uh the Instagram post that was made, yes, there was a little bit of photoshopping. Thank you, Allie, for doing that. Because I figured the world did not need to see my bloody nips. Um, so but yeah, so I'll I'll say it again nothing new on race day. Yeah, um apparently John heard a scream coming from. The long houses of the Polynesian when I took my shower. But I'm happy to say that I am recovering nicely.
SPEAKER_06Well, that's I'm so glad I'm getting applause for my bloody new trivial. So remember for the next time trivia. What episode did Greg talk about his bloody episode?
SPEAKER_05Oh, again, in the interest of time, and normally in the podcast, we don't care about time, but we have uh limited time for this uh room. So I'll pass on. Besides, I can't top that for crying out.
Yoga Quick Review
SPEAKER_05Um yoga. No one up here did the yoga. Did anyone do yoga, would like to say anything about it? Okay. You don't have to. It was good. Okay, yoga was good. Okay. That's there you go. There's that's a great review. Three words. Yoga was good.
SPEAKER_01They actually said it was the best yoga that they've done, so good.
SPEAKER_02Caution runners, the topic is about to change right now.
Race Report Roundup And Majors
SPEAKER_05Because we want to get to the trivia contest, and now please stand clear of the door. It's time for a race report. All that plays in the background. It's time for the race report. I think that's actually me. I think. Yeah, it is you. I couldn't, I remember doing it, but I couldn't tell. Anyway. The race report is sponsored by a friend Thomas Stokes of Stoked Metabolic Training. Stokes.fit slash rise and run coaching is the website. Check it out. Tom also had some wonderful deals for our friends who are on the cruise. We mentioned that earlier. We appreciate Tom for doing that. Now, all right, because the episode that's airing this week is our special tribute to Jeff, and there's no race report on that, and we aren't able to update the results of races. What we're going to do is go through the people who put their names into the race report, and we will try to catch up later on any special occurrences or anything that need to be highlighted. But let's start back on April 18th, the weekend of the Boston Marathon. We'll start in Boston. They run a 5K on Friday. Jake and Michael were there. Charlotte has a race fest in Charlotte, North Carolina, when Melody, Karen, and Lucy all ran the half marathon. Bob knocked over a cup. And then in Crystal Beach, Florida, Kimberly ran the Crystal Beach 5K out in Seattle, the Seattle Cherry Blossom Run. Laura and Brian were there, did the 10K. Bethany was in Milford, Michigan. It's Milford in Michigan. It's Milford in New Hampshire. New Englanders? Right? Milford in New Hampshire? Right, good. Milford in Michigan. The Michigan made 10K. Bethany ran that. Move on to Sunday, the 19th. New York Roadrunners. RBC race for the kids for Miler. Brenna and Nikhil in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Is that okay? That's good. That's here somewhere. We got a couple of New Orleans people here, so I think that they approve. I could say Baton Rouge, but that's now. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Tiger Tenke. Emily ran that one. The biggie for the weekend, the Boston Marathon, and friends who ran the Boston Marathon and are listening right now, we will get you on because world majors deserve to be recognized and celebrated. I'm not sure when. I'm not going to be back on a recording for a couple more weeks after this, so we'll see when we can put this together. However, the names we had listed in the race report who ran Boston this year: Dale, Tara, Ryan, Margaret, and Todd, I'm sure there were others.
SPEAKER_04Well, and let's highlight Margaret real quick. I think I mentioned this last week. Margaret did Garden Spot last weekend. Then she did all three races at springtime. And I'm glad that every time I passed her during the 10-miler course, she was walking, then flew up. She told me she had three separate flights booked as backups, got to Boston Sunday afternoon, got her bib, ran the Boston Marathon, and then this upcoming weekend is doing Dollywood. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's doing a lot.
SPEAKER_04She needs a big vacation and a massage after this.
SPEAKER_05No doubt with great costumes and everyone's gonna be able to do that. Absolutely, yes. Well, let's take a look at races that have not run yet over the weekend. There's a Ragnar in Richmond, Virginia, the Richmond Trail Ragnar. Trish is there. Also over the weekend, it is, as Greg just talked about, the inaugural run at Dollywood, Dollywood Race Weekend. There is a butterfly challenge. I'm going to, I don't know what races that involves. I'm guessing 10K and half, but I do not know. However, Tracy, Margaret, Kayla, Kayla's doing number eight for her 50 halves in 50 states, will be there. Stephen, Jim, Melody, and Marie doing the half marathon. David and Christina. Amy, Elizabeth, Joanne, and John are running the 10K. And there's a 5K. Andrew, Catherine, and Carrie will be doing that. On the 25th of April in Louisville, Kentucky, the Kentucky Derby Festival, mini marathon and marathon. Great event, by the way, around it years ago. Ashley's doing the mini, the half marathon. Out in Oxford, Mississippi, race one of a tri-city trilogy, the Double Decker 10K. Whitney's there. In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Andrew's running the Pittsburgh Draft Day 5K. NFL Drafts in Pittsburgh this year. Cool. Nice event for the draft, the 5K. The Soul of the City 10K is being run in Baltimore, Maryland. Jen's doing this second race in the Baltimore B3 series. Grace is running the Garmin Olatha Marathon in the Land of Oz. It's actually she's running the half marathon out in Kansas there. In Orlando, the SeaWorld Seven C's Food Festival 5K. Lisa and running with a group, Lisa's 50th. Mary's running it. Mary's here somewhere. I say Mary's running that one. And on the 26th, another world major. Dibya, Jake, and Elizabeth running the London Marathon. Big one. Let's wrap up the race report in Eugene, Oregon, where Jenny is running the Eugene Half Marathon. And that is our version of the race report for episode 240. But it is not time to wish everyone happy running.
SPEAKER_02Caution runners, change of topic ahead.
Cruise Trivia Contest And Winners
SPEAKER_05We'd like to transition now to the inaugural Rise and Run Cruise trivia contest. Greg, why don't you kick us off?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. So as we told everyone, so this is going to be a max teams of two. So make sure you have your pencils and papers out. No cheating. You might have to swap papers so we make sure that there's no scoring cheating. Yeah, you can't Google the answers. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah, a lot of these are not Google answers. But the reason why we wanted to keep this as part of the podcast recording is for those of you that are listening, we want you to play along at home, even though you're not eligible to lit to uh win fabulous prizes here. But we have 20 questions like any good cruise line trivia contest. Uh, but some of these questions do have multiple parts to them, so I'll let you know how many points you can earn. All right. And and just as just as a reminder, um, spouses of uh hosts of the Rise and Run podcast are not eligible to win prizes. Have to put out that legal disclaimer. Or Alicia's mom.
SPEAKER_01I think Holy Meredith is here. Okay.
SPEAKER_04All right. Is everyone ready? All right, here we go. Question number one. This is worth a max of three points. When was the first episode released? You can earn a point for the month, the day, and the year. A hush has fallen over the room as everyone is intently thinking about this.
SPEAKER_01Alright, second question. The release of the first episode also corresponds with what important event in the life of one of the hosts and which host. So each one of those questions is a point.
SPEAKER_05Well, the two the two questions are.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So the release of the first episode also corresponds with what important event life in one of the hosts for one of the hosts. So that's part one for a point. And then the second part is which host are we talking about and what event was that?
SPEAKER_05Question three. Name all of the hosts who were actually on that first episode. Here's a hint there's a maximum of four points.
SPEAKER_04Quick correction. You can earn a maximum of five points. I screwed up.
SPEAKER_06What two movie franchises does Jack confuse all the time? This is worth two points max.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. What two movie franchises does Jack confuse all the time? She still doesn't get it, right?
SPEAKER_08No.
SPEAKER_05Nor do we want her to.
SPEAKER_03No, that's right.
SPEAKER_04Alright, next question. And this is for one point. What 80s hairstyle do all the hosts wish John would bring back?
SPEAKER_01Alright, next question. Excluding the rewind episodes, who has been the most frequent guest on the podcast? It's for one point.
SPEAKER_05Ah, here's an easy one. Of all the hosts, who is the most likely to buy you a margarita? Why are they laughing? I don't know. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03No, John John's gonna love reading this next question. Because I think he's the biggest culprit of it. No, I'm not. Oh, you're right up there.
SPEAKER_06I think you're the biggest culprit, but what episode do all the hosts tease Greg about all the time? Bonus points, what episode number was that? It's a max of two points, one for each.
SPEAKER_05If you get the episode number, I'll be really impressed. Yeah, we'll be really impressed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That one you could look up, I think. Yes. Alright, next question. Worth one point. Which host almost gave out their credit card number on an Instagram live during race registration?
SPEAKER_01What game show did Greg sleep on the sidewalk for to see live?
SPEAKER_05It's a real game show. And he was really there. I was? Mm-hmm. A couple years ago. Let's see. What Magic Kingdom attraction does Lexi refuse to go into?
SPEAKER_04She mentioned this during a uh listener uh question episode, I believe.
SPEAKER_06Speaking of Lexi's fears, what is her biggest fear she could ever encounter pre-race? One point.
SPEAKER_04Speaking of Lexi's fears, what is her biggest fear she could ever experience before a race? Was I too jersey? No, not at all. Okay. It wasn't Jersey enough. All right, next question. Worth one point. This should be an easy one. What letter of the alphabet gets its own corral when nature calls?
SPEAKER_01Alright, next question. Name all of the hosts who have stepped foot in Japan at some point in their lives. Max four points.
SPEAKER_05For what it's worth, I wouldn't have got this one right. Now speaking of the podcast, in podcast lingo, what do the letters W W A D stand for? W W A D.
SPEAKER_03How does everyone think they're doing so far?
unknownBetter than half.
SPEAKER_04Better than half? Okay. I missed a bond.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's some on here that I wouldn't know. Oh, for sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06What three ladies made up the original Council of Costumes at three points max.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that that council's changed hands a little bit. Some let's see. Uh just first name. Just first name. Just first name. Yeah. And the costumes have become so great and so many more people are involved, but Yeah. These three are the OG. At least two of them are still hanging with us. And the other one we've asked, but she's not always available. Alright, next question.
SPEAKER_04Oh, this is the appropriate one for me to ask. At Loopy Looper last year, what did Greg and Tom, lady and the tramp, in the middle of a race? Bonus point, what famous gas station chain did this item come from? So a maximum of two points.
SPEAKER_03And do I still think of that moment? Yes, I do. He has the photo in his wallet.
SPEAKER_01During a previous listener question show, what celebrity did John say showed up to his junior high dance? Bonus point, who was the other famous person that brought that person to the dance? Max two points. I can repeat it again. All right. During a previous listener question show, what celebrity did John say that showed up to his junior high dance? That's the first part. And then, bonus point, who was the other famous person that brought that person for the first part of the question to that dance?
SPEAKER_04Try Googling that one.
SPEAKER_05There is a photo out there. Okay. This is a much less famous person, but who was the first guest on the Rise and Rudd podcast? And when she got on, she said, Yeah, Bob, I'm happy to be on your baby podcast. First names are fine. Who was it? Again, I'm gonna be impressed if you remember that one.
SPEAKER_06All right, John, hit us with the last question. Here we go, guys. What two people does Bob credit for getting him into costuming? Two points.
SPEAKER_04Repeated. Does anybody need the answers?
unknownI need 18 answer.
SPEAKER_04Oh right, so in terms of scoring, are we gonna go with the trust system here or should we swap papers? Alright, alright, we're going trust system. Okay. So mark your sheets, and then we will get our winners. Alright. Question one. When was the first episode released? You get one point for October, another point for the 22nd, and one point for 2021. So October 22nd, 2021. Alright, question two. The release of the first episode corresponds with an important event in the life of one of the hosts. Which host are we talking about? And what was the event? It was Bob and Becky's wedding anniversary.
SPEAKER_05That's right. That's right. 47th wedding anniversary, and we're doing a podcast.
SPEAKER_01That one you get two points. So 44th, yeah, so if you get a point, you get a point, and then if you get the wedding anniversary, you get a point.
SPEAKER_0544th, not 47th, 44th.
SPEAKER_04Okay. The third question, and I apologize that I initially screwed this up. So again, you get earn a maximum of five points here. All the hosts who were on the first episode included Bob, myself, Alicia, Jack, and Lexi, John had better plans that night. He didn't think it would last.
SPEAKER_06That was in Universal.
SPEAKER_04All right, next question. What two movie franchises does Jack confuse all the time? You get one point if you mention Back to the Future, and another point if you mentioned The Mandalorian.
unknownWhat about Star Wars?
SPEAKER_04We'll give you Star Wars.
SPEAKER_06You did say movie franchise.
SPEAKER_04No movie is coming out, but yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. All right, next question. What 80s hairstyle do all the hosts wish John would bring back? That is business in the front, party in the back of the mullet, yes. Alright, next up, excluding rewind episodes, who has been the most frequent guest on the podcast? That is our beloved coach, Jeff Galloway.
SPEAKER_05How many times was he on? Five? Oh, it was almost ten.
SPEAKER_04Oh, really? I believe it was nine, yeah. Because sometimes we would talk to him for so long, we'd actually split him up into two episodes. That's right.
SPEAKER_05That's right.
SPEAKER_04I believe second place is Coach Twig. Twig, yeah, I'm sure it is, yeah.
SPEAKER_05And then Britney, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then Britney, yeah. Next, again, the easiest one on here, I think. Of all the hosts, who is the most likely to buy you a margarita? There it is, Alicia.
unknownThat's a good call.
SPEAKER_04All right. This is the one I'll be impressed if anyone gets. What episodes do all the hosts tease me about all the time? Bonus point, what number was it? It was the Thanksgiving episode, the OG Thanksgiving episode, and that is episode number six. And if you're curious as to why I get harassed about it, is because even to this day, even though I championed it the idea the entire time, it is our least downloaded episode ever. So everyone go out there and download it now.
unknownI think they tease you more about Nacho Gate.
SPEAKER_05I think that's a good one.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's true. That's fair. That is fair. Yeah. Well, that's well, run for teases me the most about. My co-host teased me about Thanksgiving. All right, which host almost gave out their credit card number on an Instagram live during race registration. That is Jack.
SPEAKER_05Of course.
SPEAKER_04What game show did I sleep on the sidewalk to see live? That is the thing that hopefully a bunch of us are going to later this afternoon. The price is right. All right, next. What Magic Kingdom attraction does Lexi refuse to go into? That would be the country bear jamboree.
SPEAKER_05There is no port-a-potty uh uh attraction.
SPEAKER_04Well, and it's funny that you bring that up, Bob, because the answer to the next question is speaking of Lexi's fears, what is her biggest fear that she could ever experience pre-race? And that is being tipped over in a port-a-potty.
SPEAKER_06Wouldn't that be all her fears? Right.
SPEAKER_04She's the only one that's mentioned.
SPEAKER_05I don't worry about it, have it.
SPEAKER_04All right. Up next, what letter of the alphabet gets its own uh corral when nature calls everyone?
SPEAKER_08Excellent.
SPEAKER_04All right. Uh next up, name all of the hosts who have stepped foot in Japan at some point in their lives. That includes Bob, myself, Jack, and Lexi. So I can get a max of four points there. That's pretty good if you got that. I wouldn't have got that one. Coming towards the end here. In terms of the podcast, what does the acronym WWAD stand for?
SPEAKER_08Excellent. Very nice.
SPEAKER_04All right. What three ladies made up the original Council of Costumes? That would include Pamela, Kristen, and Cindy. Yep. Cindy Copley. No, it was Cindy Copley. Margaret came later. Cindy kind of later. Again, you can earn a max of three points, so you don't need all three. You can get one point for each correct uh answer. Yeah, Pamela and
SPEAKER_05And Kristen are still pretty regular on that.
