Never Too Late Podcast

Episode 61. Audrey Leishman - Beating the Odds: From a 5% chance of survival to flourishing in life

Blake Collyer Episode 61

In this episode I had the privilege of chatting to Audrey Leishman, who fought through the battle of her life at age 31 to survive a fight with sepsis which gave her a 5% chance of survival and 5 days in a coma. Learning about sepsis and listening to her story was extremely powerful and I encourage you all to give it a listen and make yourself aware of the symptoms and signs of sepsis. It can hit quickly with the survival rate dropping by 8% every hour untreated. It was amazing having Audrey on the podcast and I am extremely grateful for the chat. I hope you all enjoy, it’s a must listen!

Here are some key points that Audrey and I spoke about:

- Her early life and passion to help others
- What is sepsis?
- Her fight with sepsis
- 2 years of recovery
- Sepsis being the #3 cause of death in the USA
- Resilience
- Rebuilding her mind, body and spirit
- The Begin Again Foundation that Audrey and Marc started

I hope you all enjoy listening to the conversation Audrey and I had and can implement some of the incredible knowledge she shared, to help you all on your self improvement journeys!
