Hi, I’m Rob!  Professionally, I’m a university math instructor, but I’ve always been interested in money.  Just a few short years ago, given the chance, I would have taught you all I knew about how debt is a useful tool for thriving financially…all the while struggling financially myself!

I’ve realized how wrong I was and today, our family is consumer debt-free.  After years of no progress, we changed our thinking about debt, and my wife and I paid off $41k in debt in about 19mo, and then built up a $21k fully-funded emergency fund in another 6mo.

I am so bothered by how wrong I was, that I’m out to inspire others to see how and why they should live a debt-free life.
