If your personal finance life was a puzzle, and you dumped out all the pieces, you'd want to start with the corner points, in order to get some structure of where to go and something to build on to. I recently had the privilege of preaching at the Winnipeg Church of Christ (https://wcoc.ca/), and in this sermon, I present what I would call "the four corners" of this puzzle from a biblical point of view.
