In this episode we discuss the lost amusement park that was once located in the Fort George section of Washington Heights. More than 100 years ago, this amusement park. The two neighboring amusement parks effectively merged as one to directly compete against Coney Island. The amusement parks were the catalyst in a sense to kickstart the beginning of the film industry across the river in Fort Lee, NJ- which then partially came back to Washington Heights- and later moved out to Los Angles.
