Hello everyone. Welcome back for another episode of the Outdoor Adventure Series Podcast. This is your Host, Howard Fox.

The Outdoor Adventure Series celebrates individuals & families, businesses, and organizations that seek out and promote the exploration, and enjoyment of the great outdoors.

Our guest today is Chris Midgette.

Chris is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast that writes about dogs, hunting, and stories from the field. Most of his stories involve his Boykin Spaniels, Cooper & Traveller, as they chase waterfowl and upland birds across the US.

Aha Moment

As far as my writing, it was when my first story got picked up by the Boykin Spaniel Society for their magazine. As far as working with my dogs, it was when I took Traveller on his first hunting trip and how well he did. That's when I really started focusing on experiencing different hunts/places across the US.

Insight2Go

To just take that trip. I've talked to so many people that say they can't, don't have time, or can't afford it. There are ways to make it work and make it affordable. I think so many people psych themselves out of going on big trips. Of course, don't forget to take the pup!
