Our guest today is John Asselin.
John has been with the Bureau of Land Management since August 2016 as a public affairs specialist. He is responsible for communication for Red Rock Canyon and Sloan National Conservation Areas (NCAs), and Gold Butte National Monument in Nevada.

With any job, there are frustrating days. And then there are days that are not at all frustrating, that are wonderful. And, things that, you know are, you're just amazed that. When cool things happen, document them. And then, just save them. So then when you're having a rough day, you can go back and look at the cool things you've done.
And I think by writing those things down and documenting them, that when you have those rough days where it just seems like nothing's working and you're really annoyed to go back and look at those cool things that that life has given you as you've gone along through your career.
