I'm hustling and hustling and hustle hut and hustling. Damnit, dj, I said, cut that shit out. God, I love that skit, but seriously hustling. Is it making you burn out? Is it giving you more income? What's going on? Let's get into it. Today's episode, let's get real side hustles, right? Trying to hustle to make sure you got enough money to either live or survive or get ahead. Because we know damn well salaries are not keeping up with inflation or what they're supposed to be doing historically. I mean, CEOs are making millions while their average person's making like 50, 60. So let's be real about it. Alright, so let's get into it. Is side hustling and the hustle culture good or bad for you? Uh, I believe it's bad for you. I don't think you should be hustling 24 7. I don't think someone should be working their ass off nine to five. Come home and work six to midnight. I don't believe that should be the case. Now, I'm not the one setting people's salaries and I don't control, you know, the world. Um, I'm also not setting tariffs, so who knows? But ultimately what we should be doing is getting paid what we're worth, but we're not. So what can we do? A lot of people are doing side hustles, whether that's, you know, car delivery, they're starting their own businesses. Those businesses could be top to bottom, who knows what they are. But ultimately we're trying to figure that out, right. So should you or should you not? That is the question Today we're talking about what some healing side gigs or side hustles should be. That could be to help you, um, that don't provide burnout because burnout is real on a, um, on average, there's studies out there, I don't know, maybe I'll put it up here. 77% of employees at some point get burnt out. 77% of us. If they threw in business owners, I would probably say that's damn near 90 to 99%, right? Everyone goes through some type of burnout and that burnout, when you're living in that you're not thriving, you're not getting ahead, you're in survival mode. So a lot of your financial decisions aren't lined up with what you want them to do. A lot of, uh, you way you live, and those things are not because you are so stressed out and so burnt out that you are. Numb or the opposite. You are very emotional and it causes issues with your relationship. So what are some ways to, to attack this and make sure that we are getting the right side hustles for ourselves? One. Set boundaries on what that is to be the timeframe, how much energy you're gonna spend, and then you calculate that into with how much it's gonna cost, right? To get started. The second one is, outside of my setting my boundaries, is it aligned with what I'm passionate about? Do I care about writing about money and do articles and stuff like that? Yeah, I do. You may not, you may find it easier to, I don't know, write a blog about baking. My wife just made blueberry muffins. Uh, so now that's all I'm thinking about anyways. Or third, does it fit to my entire life? So set boundaries. Am I passionate about it? And third, does it fit what I can actually physically do? So what are some of those healing side hustles that people can get into or you can get into today? There are many out there and those out there would constitute be a ghost writer, write articles or blogs and get paid to do so. Pretty easy one. If you have something you're passionate about, you care about, you do research, go ahead and and type up articles. There are ones paying out there. All over the place for those be a pet sitter, maybe a pet walker, right? You love animals. Maybe go volunteer or do some things around the pets to get paid for doing so. Pet sitting, pet walking, you name it. Those are gonna be out there for you. What about some type of online guide or res resource that you provide? I'm not saying all those courses and all those things, but a, a guide or something that you can provide to sell, and four, we see it all the time, whether it's on Etsy or whatever's out there, having some product that's homemade that. Is near and dear to your passion and heart and selling it because there's a bunch of others out there that are wanting to do the exact same thing. So you tell me, are those side gigs and side hustles something that are gonna take a lot of energy and burn you out, or are those more healing and allowing you to live the life that you want to live in in a different way while providing some type of extra income? Think about what you want to do now. Personally, I'm a business owner. I try to push everyone to be a business owner. There's way more flexibility. There's more things to do, but that's a different type of risk, and that is a different, whole different video that we'll be doing about being a business owner and sales versus not sales and WW two people versus not. Um, we'll get into that one later, but today we're talking about the side hustle. So from the top we talked about we're hustling, but are we causing burnout? How can we not achieve burnout with different types of side hustles? And at the end of the day, what is going to be best for you, your family, your loved ones. To achieve what goals that you have. Think about it. Come at the comment section. Maybe others can say, Hey, this is what I'm doing as a side hustle. I know we've had on no BS wealth. We've had others that have started transportation companies as a side hustle. Uh, laundry mats. Uh, vending machines. Vending machines is huge. One. Check that out too. So they're out there. It's just a matter of what you want to do for you to take that leap with your family. I mean, what's, what's better than being a business owner? Nothing provides flexibility, but I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with these salaries right now.
