The Rev. Peggy Hodgkins, Rector. Trinity Episcopal Church, located in Southport, Connecticut, is one of the oldest Episcopal churches in North American. Started in 1725, Trinity was only the second Anglican church in the colony. In the past 300 years, Trinity has endured tornadoes, fires, floods (most recently Hurricane Sandy), and being burned to the ground during the Revolutionary War (1779). Today, Trinity is a well-established and growing church in the Southport section of the city of Fairfield, CT. The Rector is the Rev. Margaret Hodgkins, the first female rector in the church's history. The vibrant music program is managed by Dr. Robert Kwan. The church is active in the local community, with dozens of different ministries available for the varied needs and interest of the parish and surrounding area.
