Maisy Gibson

Maisy Gibson hails from NSW’s Hunter region and was a part of the inaugural 2015–16 Women's Big Bash League season with the eventual champions, Sydney Thunder.

Ahead of the 2019–20 Women's National Cricket League season and 2019–20 Women's Big Bash League season, she moved to Tasmania, and signed for the Tasmanian Tigers and the Hobart Hurricanes. She took 10 wickets in the 2019–20 WNCL, and in May 2020, she was named Tasmanian women's player of the season.

Early in season 2020/21 Maisy ruptured her ACL and as such missed the WNCL season and WBBL06 and WBBL07. Her rehabilitation gave her the opportunity to participate in WNCL commentary for season 2020/21. Maisy made her long awaited return to first class cricket in December 2021 around 700 days after her last first class appearance.
