Hi Anxious emerged from the depths of Cape Towns scene with a dark heart and a good attitude.
Their first single Untitled.01, marking the start of an album cycle more than 2 years in the making.
The to be announced EP was recorded at LuvBuzz Studios and produced, mixed and mastered by the band themselves. The EP features 6 energetic, emotive, and stylistically varying songs, lending sounds and themes from psychedelia, grunge, emo, hardcore, metal and prog.
You wont find Hi Anxious playing your local dive bar two weekends in a row. Instead, the band prefers to carefully curate their live shows, either by mindfully picking a venue and dates that ensures a great fan experience, or they do it the hard way and host their own. This ethos remains a through-line in everything they do, whether its hand-making merch, working with local artists on design, or writing the music. For Hi Anxious, the easy way is rarely the best way.
