Speaker 1:

Okay, we're officially live.

Speaker 3:

This is a real deal we got it all set up, mark.

Speaker 4:

Inglid do you want to be our first guest Up on here.

Speaker 5:

buddy, do you want to be our first guest?

Speaker 1:

It feels only appropriate. You walked right, let's go.

Speaker 3:

Well, sit down and tell us Mark real quick.

Speaker 2:

He knows what he's doing.

Speaker 7:

Good for him. Here's the deal.

Speaker 1:

We're kicking this thing off. We've got this live recording over here. All of you out there that are talking amongst yourselves and acting like we don't exist hey, welcome, we're excited to meet you and we want to invite you to come sit down and chat with us. As you chat amongst yourselves, we've got an open seat here at the end, and the intention of that open seat is for it to not be open at all, so it for always to have a fourth person in the hot seat. So the question is do we just grab at random since Mark denied us, or do we wait for you?

Speaker 8:

Yeah, yeah, jenny's like hey, can I do it Come on in.

Speaker 3:

Jenny Pat come on down. Very excited to have a seat Join us. Oh hello.

Speaker 1:

She's in.

Speaker 3:

I'm in that. Mic's a little tall.

Speaker 11:

All these all these mics.

Speaker 1:

So all right. So here's, here's how this is going to work, right? You tell us your name, you tell us where you're coming from and you tell us what you're excited to do this weekend.

Speaker 9:

Well, hello, I am Jenny and you may see my name in the mighty networks community. I am coming from a van that is parked outside of Kimberly's apartment. I, my husband and I have been adventuring on the East coast for the summer, and this has been the big event. The thing that we're most, that I'm most excited about, is seeing all the little circles that we see on on mighty networks in real life, seeing more than people's heads and squares on the zoom videos and all this interaction, seeing everyone like the buzz that is just here right now.

Speaker 10:

You can hear it yeah. You can look you guys can literally hear it.

Speaker 1:

So all right, Jenny. Now here's the fun part. We're flipping the script and you get to ask us a question.

Speaker 12:

I didn't even know, that was happening. That's that's good Ready set go what?

Speaker 9:

what are you each, what's going on in your mind, seeing all of this happening right now? There are all these people that flew in, that drove in, and you can see here the buzz happening in the background and there you have no idea what kind of conversations are happening. What's going on in each of your minds right now at the kickoff of this event? Me first, okay, you first.

Speaker 3:

Next level. We we've been at multiple iterations of the Lakehouse Chronicles. Yes, yes. This is I'm sure there's a UFC analogy Mark could make from from one UFC to the next, or when they got on paper view, or whatever it be, a certain sponsorship. This is the next level, this is an iteration and it's it's pro AF. Yes, it's freaking cool to see everybody in here, I mean the people.

Speaker 3:

People come up and look at us right at the top of the stairs oh people just really excited to see one of them so many times we've seen that right at the top of the stairs, someone runs into somebody.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I agree, Next level, very pro, very well put together. Inevitable again comes up. Yeah, you know this was, we knew this was going to happen and we know what like, in essence, what the next generation or iterations of this will be as it continues to grow. But I just think it's really cool to see everybody so happy to to be in person with people who they connect very well with. We all know how how much if you open up to somebody or when you go through hard times together, how bonding that is for humans, and so this is just super cool to see for everybody. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the primary thing going on through my head is how come Dave looks cooler than me in these glasses, I don't.

Speaker 1:

He looks cooler than me and I want those glasses, and that's the main thing I'm thinking about right now. But then also, yeah, it's cool to see how many people are gathering and how much like the energy builds as soon as they get to the top of the stairs. And yeah, and I'm just imagining what they might be sharing about or what they may be the the slight awkwardness of the first time meeting in person or the slight awkwardness of the first 10 minutes of the events, right that we all feel and experience.

Speaker 3:

And, if we're being very honest, all of us were saying we're happy behind the mics.

Speaker 8:

I know, this is so much better.

Speaker 2:

Safe space, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 9:

So we have this sense of the playground right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 9:

Kid at school and the playground and who do you go play?

Speaker 3:

with Good analogy.

Speaker 9:

Say hi to right. And it's funny because Mark was supposed to bring the name badges and he had one job. He said they were put in the box. Well, the box is here and no name badges and it makes it very. You go and introduce yourself. Yeah, Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

It's not an easy read, right, exactly, exactly. And then you have to get like you're going to see a face that you recognize and you got to remember their name and you're going to go up and you're going to say hi, and you're going to see what happens.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then it's almost better that way it is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're all humans. We know how to interact. Yeah, hey can you guys hear us out there? Can you guys hear us? Can anyone acknowledge us? Hey, hi, hello, nope.

Speaker 3:

No, they're, they're conversations.

Speaker 1:

They're too much. They're too much Good, they're having too much fun. Do we want it? We?

Speaker 3:

can call people in as they come upstairs.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, totally yeah, somebody tag the next person.

Speaker 3:

You want to come sit down and then everyone will do the same.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3:

Meg. Meg was volunteering.

Speaker 1:

Alright, well then send her on over.

Speaker 3:

Yes, very smart. You don't necessarily on the clock all the time, but we do adapt.

Speaker 1:

Time is not real. How many times do you?

Speaker 3:

have to say this how can you own something that's?

Speaker 10:

not where.

Speaker 3:

What's up Meg?

Speaker 1:

All right, give her a chance to get settled and get situated. Oh, there she is, she's head full, so I got floppers on her.

Speaker 3:

You got the stylish ones.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right. So here's the questions. First one you tell us who you are Megan Henry. Ok, perfect, I like this rapid fire. You tell us what do you do professionally?

Speaker 14:

I am a mental performance coach.

Speaker 1:

OK, cool. And what are you most excited about to do this weekend?

Speaker 14:

Oh my gosh. Well, I am so excited to meet people face to face, like in 3D, like all of you, and at first it's like, wait, I know you, but, like whoa, I need to adjust 2D to 3D or zoom face to your actual face, and then I'm speaking tomorrow. So I'm super, super pumped about that.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, so good. All right, now we flip the script and you get to ask us a question.

Speaker 14:

Oh my gosh. Ok, why is everybody enrichment Like? Why is all the inlifted people?

Speaker 1:

in this Loki Hiky, best City Evera. I'm telling you. What are you trying to say?

Speaker 12:

Are you?

Speaker 1:

saying that this is not a good place to live.

Speaker 14:

No, I just didn't. No, it just happens to be everybody's enrichment. We're loving it. So I've only came to Richmond like two times before my brother got married in Richmond, but somewhere not here, like not in downtown or anything, and then I'm staying in Scott's addition. Oh, yeah. And that's actually where my brother I realized had, like at River City Roll, had his like reception thing there. So yeah, I went around on scooters and explored today, exactly like you guys recommended. But you know what one weekend I don't think is enough.

Speaker 1:

No, no, that's why we live here. You answered your own question.

Speaker 3:

Dave is going to say that the answer to that is move to.

Speaker 2:

Richmond. You just moved to Richmond, just moved. Totally could, totally could.

Speaker 14:

I could.

Speaker 2:

You could.

Speaker 4:

I can, I will.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you said it. Oh, hey.

Speaker 8:

Holds squad coming in.

Speaker 1:

So the honest answer of why we're all in Richmond is Mark England. This is hometown. This is also my hometown, dave's also hometown and then you know, I moved here because New York started slapping all sorts of laws on me and I said no, thank you, it is Mo Bette here. It is Mo Bette. I am from Connecticut. Respect, oh my god, so good. Ok, do you want to ask a follow up question?

Speaker 14:

You don't have to, but you can. Well, what are you guys most excited about and what have you been talking about so far? Because I haven't heard, because it's live, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So we are. So we've been talking about basically where everybody here is going to get a chance to sit in your seat and that wants to. I would assume they all want to and we're going to just get to know everybody, see what's going on, see what people are hyped about, and then, yeah, answer some questions, talk some shit, have some fun.

Speaker 3:

You know, same old, same old.

Speaker 14:

Same old, same old. What workshops are you guys the most excited about?

Speaker 1:

Breathwork with Brandon Powell.

Speaker 14:

Yeah, oh, my god, I'm so pumped. My boyfriend Jack is here. He flew from the UK and I'm like you are absolutely going to love this.

Speaker 3:

Brandon Powell in person.

Speaker 14:

He is in an amphitheater. That's going to be so nice. Oh my god, it's going to be epic, the best.

Speaker 3:

The thing I'm most excited about this weekend is watching my daughter as a flower girl in my cousin's wedding. That's right, and I love my cousin Molly, if you listen to this, I love you, and if Theodore wasn't the flower girl, I would be staying for the whole week.

Speaker 14:

Sorry, not sorry. It's a good reason to go. It's a good reason to go, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to take the cop out. Answer. That's the real answer is I'm just excited to see everybody.

Speaker 12:

Yeah totally.

Speaker 1:

I'm just excited to see everybody Totally.

Speaker 14:

Well I so I just came from a two back to back. Dr Joe just spends in retreats, so I'm like already pretty high vibe. But I'm like the Brandon Powell Breathwork session is definitely going to be like top tier. I'm just going to be like in the stratosphere after I this Full sign.

Speaker 1:

I've been so to, just you know, be in line with. You know I love Dr Joe. You know I love visualizing my future and feeling the feelings I have seen many times over this like full blown bliss moment of us at our dance party after Brandon Powell, so high on everything that happened, and I am like I keep seeing it every single day, like multiple times a day. I'm like my outfit, everything I'm there.

Speaker 1:

She's already there, she's seeing it, she's seeing that feature self right here. My future self is like just showing to me a movie. That's like girl, that's phenomenal. I absolutely love it. All right, megalite, tag the next person that you want us to talk to, oh my God, walk out into the crowd.

Speaker 14:

It's Wild Bill, so, all right, bring them over.

Speaker 1:

Wild Bill, you're being called to the podcast booth.

Speaker 3:

The fact that it's too loud for people to hear us is absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

Honestly, I yeah, quite like, I had the expectation that, like they would, the sound would almost like overtake the room, but I just didn't think. I thought it would be our sound, not their sound.

Speaker 3:

There's just there's like a bubble around the speaker so people can carry out their conversations.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly, People are like we don't want to listen to you. We listen to you all the time.

Speaker 12:

How are you? Pleasure to meet you in the free top row. So good to see you.

Speaker 1:

Wild Bill hello.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to.

Speaker 1:

Richmans, thank you so much.

Speaker 12:

Welcome to, of course, we're so happy to see you guys here.

Speaker 8:

Thank you guys for doing this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you for coming. Absolutely Thank you for coming. This is all right. So here's how this game works. Okay, you tell us your name.

Speaker 12:

Bill Wild Bill.

Speaker 1:

You tell us what do you do professionally?

Speaker 12:

I am a jewelry artist and health coach.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, and then what are you most excited about this weekend?

Speaker 12:

Community connection, learning and growing, having fun of course, collaboration of all sorts, podcasting yeah, that's what I got.

Speaker 1:

Okay, now you are the host and you ask us the questions.

Speaker 12:

Okay, let's see here.

Speaker 1:

But she is a podcast host, so I'm sure you can. Yeah, if you needed to take a moment, drop in your heart or something, all good, yeah, took a breath, man. I wish Samson was here.

Speaker 3:

Is he coming?

Speaker 1:

No Water shaman next time.

Speaker 3:

I see Ryan Walla got the average average at you.

Speaker 1:

Oh, would you look at that?

Speaker 12:

So, how does it feel, chase, to be in the flesh with your compadres here?

Speaker 3:

This is only the second time we've ever recorded in person.

Speaker 1:

And it's amazing, isn't that crazy? That is real. Yeah, the second time.

Speaker 3:

It was resilience. It was like when we were just starting the podcast, it was literally when we just started.

Speaker 1:

And I don't know if we even publish any shows at that point.

Speaker 3:

No, we were still pre-recorded and everything, yeah, isn't that wild.

Speaker 1:

That was at Rick McCoy's house. We had Aaron Genetti in town. Mark Englund, brandon Powell teaching. Aaron Genetti taught firearms and knife skills.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Brandon taught breath work and Mark did language and story around it and that was quite a workshop.

Speaker 3:

That was great. Brandon also did cold there too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he did. We got to do the ice baths.

Speaker 3:

And it was February in Richmond.

Speaker 1:

So it was relatively cold outside yeah. Yeah, and that's like is that that was yeah because we had our event in Austin last year around this time September, and then that was.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we didn't record there. No, we didn't, no we didn't record in Austin. We had all the best intentions in here too we really did, you guys were too busy scooting.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, that was so fun.

Speaker 3:

There was a loop to be scooted. Yeah, you got to scoot the loop to CCR. He's the guy. To God. I can't see my foot up to CCR right now.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god. Well, you know.

Speaker 3:

I mean, that was my question from him. Oh, OK so while Bill's got questions for you guys.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, please continue.

Speaker 12:

So how is it that you navigate any sort of uncomfortable feelings that come up when you're interviewing guests, that maybe there is something happening within your ego, or this comparison thing happening, or any sort of story where you are placing yourself below the other individual?

Speaker 3:

The first show that we reported and released was about imposter syndrome. Yeah, yeah. So I go back to that, and to hear guests of high caliber and quality admit that they too often experience imposter syndrome was very, very helpful. John Wolf right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, john Wolf. And then the one with Anders Varner Varner's yeah, as well.

Speaker 12:

Absolutely Also. I'll add to that.

Speaker 3:

There's an episode where, looking back on it, we could have taken it from a different angle, and there was an episode that we didn't release with a guestable name on Remain on Name because of this disconnect.

Speaker 16:

He's your cootie's not not being named.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

They are not being named.

Speaker 1:

I would say my answer to this is really like I give myself the opportunity to think and speak and take a pause, and usually I didn't really learn this or realize this until maybe about halfway through doing this show.

Speaker 1:

Is that when I get out of the way and as in like not to get too rude, but when I Kimberly get out of the way and I can open up to ask the question that I think that the people who are listening want to hear, or to ask the question where I'm the most like, where my curiosity is most interested, usually there's like almost I know the exact moment it happens, where it's like boop, I'm out and boop whatever comes through my mouth and then I get off the show and I'm like what did I say? So it is a very like surrender experience and keep the conversation flowing and keep it light, keep it fun, keep it on. I usually have a handful of things that I know I want to ask going in, but I don't ask in a certain order and I don't even write down the whole question. I just know these are the topics I want to go to. So when I again I just like move myself out of the way and then come in and let it move through me.

Speaker 12:

Beautiful. Thank you guys, Thanks Bill.

Speaker 3:

So you get to tag the next person and come on up.

Speaker 12:

Alrighty Cheers. Thank you, guys have fun, All right.

Speaker 1:

so who do you think he's going to pick? Scout the room and see where he goes Toss the dart. All right, I don't know he's he going for he's going over there. Oh, he's getting Beth.

Speaker 2:

Of course he's getting that.

Speaker 4:

Of course he's getting that, she's like oh Beth you got to go, you got to go.

Speaker 2:

Beth, you got to go. Yes, you got to do it.

Speaker 1:

You got to go, beth, we see you.

Speaker 3:

Come on girls.

Speaker 8:

We're not that scary.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 3:

There she comes.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yes, girl.

Speaker 2:

Hello.

Speaker 1:

Hello Welcome.

Speaker 8:

Hello, thank you for having me. I'm already so far outside my comfort zone. We're so happy to have you. Well, here's our, so we're going to let you in. We've all been expanded so much, yes.

Speaker 1:

We're going to let you in on a secret. This is the safe space.

Speaker 8:

This is the less awkward space.

Speaker 1:

You have to go out. I don't want to walk out there.

Speaker 3:

That's literally what we were talking about the whole time before we started. It's like gosh, this is really nice up here.

Speaker 10:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Scanning yeah.

Speaker 2:

Everybody enjoying it yes.

Speaker 8:

It's so stimulating.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and you get this like the nice headphones and you like hear that there's a party going on, but you're also like, oh, I'm just talking to these guys, so all right. So here's the questions. Okay, Tell us your name Hi, I'm Beth and then tell us what you do professionally.

Speaker 8:

I just got a new job.

Speaker 17:

Awesome.

Speaker 8:

As a skills development and crisis intervention coach. Ooh, at-risk members of my community and they gave me the full go ahead to utilize and lifted and my own methods of coaching with the container.

Speaker 3:

So I'm really excited about that. That's cool, very cool. Hell yeah, that's rad.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, and then what are you most excited about this weekend?

Speaker 8:

Finding your opportunity to collaborate, particularly with other female coaches.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, we'll see you at the women's circle. I'll be there. I know you'll be there.

Speaker 3:

And now you get to ask us a question. It could be one for all three of us to answer, or separate questions.

Speaker 8:

Yeah, you can anything you want, whatever you want to do how Photo friends? What's your favorite invention? Oh, wow so refreshing.

Speaker 1:

Shit.

Speaker 3:

Who's going first? Damn that's good.

Speaker 10:

That's the best question we've had. That is the best question.

Speaker 6:

I've ever had.

Speaker 3:

I thought I had to break out of like the that zone. Yeah, this Language Good.

Speaker 9:

Why.

Speaker 3:

Because look what this container has created in space realm language. Describe it to me, describe language to you. No, this container.

Speaker 8:

Yeah, ok, she's doing all of the questions she's getting into it.

Speaker 6:

I'm outside of my comfort zone.

Speaker 3:

Now she's putting me in a hot seat. This container individuals who otherwise would have stood a very low chance of crossing paths ever and ever in their lives. They've come together through an appreciation of helping others in themselves level up via a very practical system that bridges the gap between practicality and I know a few people that pull on the woo levers using it. And regardless of where you are, what walks in life, everybody here connects over how powerful language can be. Great answer. Glad we had that recorded. I'm going to go the other end of that and my gut told me to say sliced bread as it did.

Speaker 8:

Stop, just say it. You messed that up.

Speaker 1:

You were just supposed to say sliced bread and move on.

Speaker 3:

I know I botched it, I'm sorry. Your turn, kim.

Speaker 1:

What I was immediately thinking, immediately where my attention went to, is electronics, and specifically the internet, because it has brought all these awesome humans to me. So whether that's podcasting is part of the internet, instagram is part of the internet, like all these ways in which I get to connect with people and then get to pull them into my sphere in 3D is pretty freaking cool. Yes, and Dave's glasses.

Speaker 2:

Thank you.

Speaker 10:

I like airplanes. Airplanes are cool.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Shout out, Wright Brothers Shout out Chase's dad.

Speaker 8:

You know pilot? Yeah, oh, I thought you were going to say your dad is like, like Mr Wright.

Speaker 10:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker 12:

That'd be a trick.

Speaker 3:

All right.

Speaker 1:

Beth, we'll relieve you of your. You know we'll send you on to the next. You can tag the next person which I'm just going to gently nudge you to pick, rachel, because she's right here. I'm doing it.

Speaker 3:

I'm doing it, thank you.

Speaker 1:

Great job, great question. That might be the question of the night. Love you, bye.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know who's going to do a better question. Yeah, I don't know, you're angry?

Speaker 8:

That's the reaction I want every time, exactly, I want to have a water I have a little. I'm still a part. I got some water I can share.

Speaker 1:

I'm still a water. Yeah, I can share some water, thank you.

Speaker 3:

Here you go, it's going to tensile Stanley Cup.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's spring water from the wayside, spring with tensor rings on there, with a glass straw, you know, for ideal hydration and minimal pay there. Oh my God, I'm finally feeding you the sound. Oh my God, here she is the one and only. What's your name? My name's Rachel. Hey, Rachel. So all right, here's the questions. This is how we're setting this up. Tell us your name. You just told us your name, Rachel. Rachel Veritimos, AKA Little Bub. Oh yeah, that's my nickname. Yes, and what do you do professionally, Rachel?

Speaker 16:

Oh, I be me.

Speaker 1:

I'm a dog mom to bear.

Speaker 16:

I host the Goddess Getaway Women's Retreat. I empower women to be in their feminine energy and flow and to trust themselves and to feel sexy as fuck. I'm a connector woman.

Speaker 8:

Yes, I love women.

Speaker 16:

I connect them, and that's it.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, what are you most excited about this weekend?

Speaker 16:

Hmm, do you hear Bub's speech?

Speaker 6:

I am, I'm speaking.

Speaker 16:

And I host the Women's Circle.

Speaker 8:

Yeah.

Speaker 16:

But I've been listening to him practice the speech and it's a really good speech.

Speaker 3:

OK, to be expected, yeah.

Speaker 16:

And I'm excited to be around all you guys, because look at you, yeah just look at us, look at us.

Speaker 1:

All right, rach Kicked out now.

Speaker 4:

No you're not kicked out.

Speaker 1:

No this is where it gets good. Where's the skin started? Oh, shit.

Speaker 6:

What did I do wrong? Is that it Come?

Speaker 1:

on, come on, so you get to flip the table on us and ask the question. Oh my god, thank you, dave.

Speaker 6:

You're welcome.

Speaker 5:

Oh yeah, Hell yes.

Speaker 1:

So Rach now you get to be the host, you get to ask us any question you want, any questions that you want, and we have to answer you.

Speaker 16:

OK.

Speaker 13:

I got this.

Speaker 16:

Can it be inappropriate?

Speaker 1:

or appropriate, whatever you know, total line, total line. I think you do it. Do whatever you want, ok.

Speaker 16:

What's the sexiest thing you guys have ever done?

Speaker 3:

Oh Ooh, I mean, define, you, define. What are you looking for in sexiest thing?

Speaker 16:

This is your sexy, what you felt the sexiest thing you ever done is.

Speaker 3:

Be me Good answer when is this episode coming?

Speaker 1:

out Whenever.

Speaker 3:

What does whenever mean?

Speaker 1:

We'll decide. Ok, probably in two weeks.

Speaker 3:

I'm making a big life decision in two or three weeks in Europe. Oh so you can do what you want with that information yes.

Speaker 1:

We'll keep that secret. The sexiest thing I've ever done is be a goddess, and goddesses don't share the details of their sexy endeavors.

Speaker 3:

That is true. Yeah, don't get to tell.

Speaker 16:

Unless you're a Hawaiian goddess, you learned about those.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, we did you kind of over here to tell us about that again. Great question Great question, yeah, we love it, so you can either ask us another question or you can tag the next guest.

Speaker 16:

I'm going to tag the next one Because I think it's a really good one. Yes let's go.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, do you want to grab some still shots, still shots, oh, moving shots.

Speaker 6:

All right guys.

Speaker 3:

So the coach's round table is officially over.

Speaker 1:

We have now transitioned into an interview with one of the only riders back.

Speaker 6:

Well, this is one time.

Speaker 3:

It's one time on second knowledge, dopey.

Speaker 1:

I heard a rumor that when you heard that we were going to open up a fourth microphone, you said, oh, I called dibs on it all night.

Speaker 6:

Oh, I mean I didn't necessarily say all night, but it's very on brand for me. I try getting me out of here.

Speaker 3:

Just try. Ok, you've got four questions.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly After the four, you're going to have to leave All right, fine, fine, no well, but that's not true. That's not entirely true. Well, you're off bags, right?

Speaker 6:

now too, where I'd be like well, I brought bags, so if you want, bags you've got to.

Speaker 1:

Let me on, Brian.

Speaker 6:

Brian, we have a secret device in the corner, something in the corner.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, a secret device in the corner.

Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, I wouldn't expect any less of this crew. Men and women have to be on heart. They grew up so fast.

Speaker 1:

All right, so let's stick to the questions We'll ask you and then we'll turn it over and then we'll see where this lands. So all right, first thing, what's your name?

Speaker 6:

My name, my government name, is Ryan Spray.

Speaker 2:

Please share with us your time. Please share with us. I'm not the coolest one yet you know.

Speaker 1:

But I do know what my government name is, so we'll start there. Ok, great, what do you do professionally?

Speaker 6:

Professionally, I coach people on how to use cannabis for personal growth and also just really like optimizing people's lives physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, what are you most excited about this weekend?

Speaker 6:

This weekend charging the absolute metric fuck out of people's batteries and getting my battery charged back. Hopefully I can swear Sorry guys, I messed it up, but yeah, just having as many conversations as possible and seeing how much my cup can overflow with.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah.

Speaker 6:

All right.

Speaker 1:

So now this is where it gets dangerous, because we turn it over to you and you get to ask us whatever questions you want and you keep asking until you tag the next guest. So go for it.

Speaker 6:

Is a hot dog, a sandwich. No no no, it's a cleansing. No, dude, come on, it's got to be some type of sandwich. Right, it's bread, it's meat. All right, it's got all the components.

Speaker 14:

Definitely not a sandy.

Speaker 6:

Looks like a sandy, talks like a sandy Walks like a sandy, this is the question.

Speaker 3:

he goes right through.

Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, come on, I've been thinking about this all day. I was like what question would I ask if I was asked to ask you guys a question?

Speaker 8:

Yeah, and the first one that came to mind was a hot dog, of course, of course, I mean priorities right yeah, best thing since sliced bread.

Speaker 6:

You got to make sure you're asking real scientific questions on podcasts.

Speaker 3:

That's true, yeah, yeah, the Westerners engaged.

Speaker 1:

Surprisingly, that's not the first time that question has been asked on this podcast. I believe that Mark asked at a Brandon Powell and Brandon Powell got immediately upset.

Speaker 3:

I will bet my house.

Speaker 6:

He said no it's not a sandwich. Mark asked me this question too, when he interviewed me for the 100th episode of the Highly Optimized podcast. So I was trying to remember where it came from, Like was that something that someone from a lift had asked me, and now it all came back in.

Speaker 1:

There you go. So yeah, well, all right. So next question or tag the next guest. All right, let's see, that's why I said this is where it gets dangerous.

Speaker 6:

All right, I'm trying to think of good ones. I can't ask a real question Me you could, I mean I could technically. But all right, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck? If a woodchuck could chuck wood and you guys?

Speaker 8:

know this, do you guys?

Speaker 6:

remember this.

Speaker 3:

I remember. I don't know if there's a real answer. There is.

Speaker 6:

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could. If a woodchuck could chuck wood, boom, all right.

Speaker 3:

I'll tell you this.

Speaker 6:

I think the guy with the hopper popper would know about woodchucks.

Speaker 1:

He's talking about hedgehogs earlier today. It's like what the hell, Davey, you don't know about woodchucks?

Speaker 3:

I did post a meme the other day of two really old dudes sitting at like an old timer bar like 200 years ago, and the guy goes hi, I'm John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmidt.

Speaker 12:

What's your name?

Speaker 3:

And the guy goes buddy, you're not going to fucking believe this. Oh my god.

Speaker 6:

I have so hard for being a woodchuck.

Speaker 8:

Oh my god, woo, that's good.

Speaker 6:

Does anyone else want to go on this podcast right now, Because I'll keep talking forever. You guys know me, Look they all clearly want to come on.

Speaker 8:

They're not even paying attention to us.

Speaker 6:

Dennis Verrullo, come on over, come on over, come on over, brother, we've got to have a Price, is Right? Music button.

Speaker 1:

You know, Mike and Tray Ross. I think, we have a fart machine. It's on, it's on.

Speaker 4:

I can't hear it.

Speaker 6:

I've made some cool lights though.

Speaker 3:

No, it's just insistent. And now we welcome Dennis.

Speaker 12:

Verrullo to the podcast. And then we turn bro.

Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh. It's like a good stout.

Speaker 1:

We got to get a rose I got a rose, I got a rose, I got a rose.

Speaker 3:

Great to see you, buddy.

Speaker 2:

Oh, oh oh oh.

Speaker 3:

Get in the hogs in. The building, man hugs.

Speaker 10:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

Welcome. That looks like a good stouter or a porter. What is that?

Speaker 17:

It's Founders Bruxist out, that's actually really excellent.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's been there, done that.

Speaker 1:

All right. Now we have another talker in the seat and testing the glasses. These are Dave's but, I, kept commenting on how full, they were.

Speaker 11:

Then he gave them to me.

Speaker 1:

So here's the thing I'm a really powerful manifestor and so when I speak out what I want, even if I speak around it, it comes to me.

Speaker 10:

It happens, it happens. Look at this.

Speaker 1:

And now my eyes are protected from the blue lights Exactly, and Dave's are burning. Yeah, Dave's are burning.

Speaker 17:

Correct, she's still OK, just being in presence with you. We walked up the steps. I got a little starstruck. I'm like I've never we've met before the three of us Walked up steps and I'm like this is Chase Talisman right there.

Speaker 1:

How many people do you think did that about you?

Speaker 17:

We were just talking about Ryan Sprig and Clint Rockwell and Cody Ringle and Mark Englund. I was like this is absolutely tremendous.

Speaker 3:

Hey, and I said this when they were walking up, dave was like there's the Marolda brothers.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, matching shoes. Tell me about your shoes, tell me about your shoes.

Speaker 17:

All right, so they're Jordan's.

Speaker 5:

Yes.

Speaker 17:

They have a little pink suite on them. I went all in on the on the building men black, white and pink yes, and there's a couple of pink things in store for the rest of the experience. I'm going to throw a teaser out there for the rest of the boy Of everyone. These were a gift to me. There was a guy that Julie I don't know Julie, well, whatever. So.

Speaker 17:

Julie whatever she one of her close friends growing up. He's been inspired by the building men mission and he's like what can I do to support? And I was talking about this event? He's like you have sneakers for it. I was like, yeah, you know, I got it. You know, whatever he's like, I'm going to buy you Jordan's like really good Jordan's, like with pink in them. So they arrived at my door and saw I'm rocking some Jordes right now.

Speaker 1:

Hell, yeah, I'm just going to pick and whatever. Yeah, hell, yeah, all right, dennis. So we do have some questions that we're going to ask.

Speaker 17:

Rockwell, let's do it.

Speaker 1:

So first of all, we already said your name. This is Dennis Marolda. We said it six times. Tell us what you do professionally.

Speaker 17:

Professionally, I am the CEO and founder of Building Men and I will do group and individual coaching for young men and I will go into schools and help them set up programs for the boys that are a big underserved population in schools and change their future pretty much, and it's been my mission. I'm going to talk about it tomorrow at the event. I'll give you a little history of the Building Men program, but I wake up every single day ready to inspire.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, love it. What are you looking forward to most this weekend?

Speaker 17:

This just the community. We've talked a lot about why in Lifted is so special. It is this community feel there's so much love in this space right now. So this is dude, I'm so excited to be around this dude right now. I'm kind of getting this.

Speaker 1:

We're giving you butterflies. Yeah, I was getting when I got up on Thursday.

Speaker 3:

When I rose on Thursday and I knew I was flying here Thursday night yesterday, I was excited the whole day. So I get it.

Speaker 17:

It's like when you climb the rope in gym class. Yeah, get that funny feeling Big win, dude, yeah, big win.

Speaker 3:

So next part you get to ask us a question.

Speaker 17:

All right, so for this event, as we're prepping for this event, what was the thing that was like? I cannot wait for this moment Like. What is the thing that was like?

Speaker 3:

A hug from Dennis Merhold All right, you just got that too.

Speaker 17:

Listen, no one saw what went on below the table either.

Speaker 8:

No one saw that.

Speaker 3:

What about you?

Speaker 17:

What was your thing?

Speaker 3:

I was really looking forward to this, To sitting here and being able to look over and see everybody and have everybody come at different times. The first poddap the five, with everybody.

Speaker 17:

And I got to say the last time that we went to the gym. We met last summer in person and you were clean-shaven, a little five o'clock, shadowy, and I know it's like you can go to sleep at night and the next morning you wake up and you have a freaking four foot beard.

Speaker 3:

So it's coming nicely, Kimberly.

Speaker 17:

what about you? What is the thing that you've been most looking forward to?

Speaker 1:

So I was just talking about this a little bit earlier. There's a moment that I see at the end of breath work and Shlomo's DJing and we're all dance partying in this bliss state and it's just this explosion of pure joy and happiness, and it's that peak experience of Saturday night and that's what I'm most excited for.

Speaker 17:

There's definitely a feeling here, there's an energy here.

Speaker 8:

And you can't.

Speaker 17:

Even I thought it would happen. But until you actually experience it, it is next level stop 100%. Oh yeah. So I was on a call with Mark this morning. I did. I'm doing a speech tomorrow at the event. I'm like hitting lead off at this event right, which is it's a good spot to be, because when I leave I'm the best speech there's been so far, 100%. Right, there's like some unbelievable people. After it I'm like, oh my god, thank god.

Speaker 3:

So a squad you're just, you're going to get on the base man, that's it. No simple thing At minimum Base, Just put on the base.

Speaker 17:

As long as I don't piss my pants or anything like that.

Speaker 1:

It's OK, you can just say good to go to jump drops. Never want to have to accept it.

Speaker 3:

All the cool kids pissed the pants. Yes. That is a great big daddy, yeah, big daddy, it's big daddy it is.

Speaker 17:

Or is it a Gilmore?

Speaker 3:

That's Billy Madison. Billy Madison, all the cool kids, all the cool kids pee their pants and consider me. Whatever rock, rock star that old ladies said. The native salmon goes, miss Lippies class, yeah, miss Lippies class.

Speaker 17:

She's a wacky. She's a wacky teacher. So I was on the phone with Mark this morning and we were talking about it. I have my speech dialed in where I have it memorized, Memorized like enough, and he goes just have fun, Just go out there and now you have a good time. So on the drive down here, I'm coming from Jersey, On the drive down here, sitting in traffic on 95, I was like where can I insert some fun into the speech? And I found a couple moments and if you're there tomorrow you will see where there will be the fun inserted into the speech.

Speaker 3:

So this is tremendous.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah.

Speaker 3:

Brother, I would love to continue this. We're going to continue this conversation after the podcast is wrapped, and what you get to do now is go out and pick the next guest, the next person in the hot seat. The next person in the hot seat.

Speaker 17:

So you've had Ryan Spragun. What about Clint Lockham?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, bring him over, I'm going to go bring.

Speaker 12:

Clint Lockham, bring him over.

Speaker 17:

He sent me a voice note and he goes of all the people, I'm most excited to meet you and I'm going to give you a 17 second hug. We've talked about the 17 second hug, and we might have gone for 37 seconds. It was almost a little too long.

Speaker 10:

I was like all right, clint, you've got to buy me a drink now, like, buy me a drink.

Speaker 1:

And you came with the breakfast and it looks like it sounds like you were maybe need refills.

Speaker 17:

So I'm going to come back with Clint Lockham, perfect. Well, yeah, love you all, love you so much.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is fun. I like making them pick the next person.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's good. It's a good on the spot.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and it's always like a.

Speaker 11:

Oh, all right, Abby Second in. All right, get in here, Abby.

Speaker 2:

Get in here. Abby, Do it.

Speaker 1:

All right girl, welcome. How are you doing? I'm doing so good. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad we're getting to have this conversation in the flesh, yes. So first question Tell us your name. My name is Abby, hell, yeah. And then next question Tell us what you do professionally.

Speaker 4:

Professionally, I am a coach.

Speaker 1:

What type of coach? Tell us more.

Speaker 4:

OK, so I'm considered a nutrition and wellness coach. However, I have been on this journey of trying to figure out what I want to do and if I want to stay in nutrition and wellness, and what does that mean. And then I fell in love with mindset.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I mean it kind of umbrellas, the unwellness, but yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, awesome. What are you looking forward to most this weekend?

Speaker 4:

Just learning more and connecting with people.

Speaker 3:

Us too, yes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely All right. Here's the fun part you get to ask us whatever you want. She's like I just want to talk to you.

Speaker 4:

most I overheard you say ask somebody what they were most expecting. I'm like I don't know what I'm expecting, I was like oh, I got this one. Crap, I'm stumped. Ok, well, I guess, how long have you guys been doing in lifted?

Speaker 3:

Oh, good question. Fall of 2020. I was in level one, group nine, level two, group three and level three, group two and banged them all out back to back to back, and so three years plus now and it feels like a brink of an eye in a lifetime.

Speaker 1:

All at the same time, yeah, I have chased, beat by one group because I was level one, group eight. I'm 30 groups after you.

Speaker 8:

Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 1:

And I've been working with the in lifted team for almost three years, coming up on three years in January and then before that it was maybe six months or nine months of studying and learning.

Speaker 3:

Mark Googled out to me in 2017, before the in lifted method was the in lifted method, but I was group six for level one, so April of 2020. I was like being lifted open. It wide open and vocabulary core language upgrade January 2017. But, listen to Barbell Shrug. I mean you got, you got me beat on the Google Doc and like as far as I went.

Speaker 1:

Mark Googled out to me before he Googled out to you.

Speaker 3:

What up, bro, Listen they've already made me look like I had like two half of arms in the basketball game over there because he set the high score right out of the gate.

Speaker 1:

But I heard you got the high score in boxing.

Speaker 3:

He did three times over. All right, all right, I'm not even going to try, so you win.

Speaker 1:

All right, Abby, you can ask us another question or you can tag Clinton.

Speaker 4:

What do you like most about what you do for a living? Oh my, god.

Speaker 3:

Changing people's lives. Helping people Easy money that.

Speaker 1:

I will not pick that, because you both did, but that is definitely.

Speaker 6:

But, that. But I will say differently.

Speaker 1:

I love what I get to do, that I get to have fun doing what I do Like. That, to me, is the best part, because I enjoy every second of I mean not every second, but most seconds of what I get to do, and that's that, to me, is worth all of it.

Speaker 4:

That's awesome. I thoroughly enjoy your podcast.

Speaker 9:

I listen to on the regular Back.

Speaker 4:

I had a nice one 10 hour drive out here so I did a lot of listening to either in the podcast or I was catching up on. I'm level 30 or level 138 group. And we just are on the descend of suck mountain. So I have yes Two more classmates to listen to. Oh amazing, I've learned a lot, so I'm really excited.

Speaker 1:

What's your favorite episode to get and left it so far?

Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh, the one where Mark botched my last name.

Speaker 2:

Got him, got him, got him.

Speaker 4:

He said I don't even know how he said it. He's like is that right? Yeah, I'm like, no, that's not even oh, but it's OK. I actually just listened to the one in July, the end of July. I can't remember her name, but it was about, like the ancient women.

Speaker 1:

Oh, halle Lifson yes, yeah, I liked that one. That was cool, that good. I'm glad that one was what. Halle and I had a lot of fun doing that. Yeah, that was awesome. We definitely did Awesome yeah.

Speaker 3:

Thank you so much, thank you for coming.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm glad you got to jump Right in. Yeah, glent Lock Off coach Clint. There he is, you're up this is so fun, this is really

Speaker 3:

fun.

Speaker 1:

I know we, I know we said we had a time limit, but I'm.

Speaker 15:

I might like have somebody bring me a cookie or something yeah, those cookies look pretty nice those like slider sandwiches yeah, I'll get you off to these and sliders oh, hell yeah, so good to see you, brother.

Speaker 3:

I saw him yesterday.

Speaker 1:

He came to my house oh you got a pre-party with Clint my client's writing.

Speaker 3:

I did come out and give you a hug did you know he was coming, and did he show up with a Nerf gun? He did not show up with a Nerf gun. I didn't knew he was on his way.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know, I didn't know, I didn't even catch that roll straight through with that one good Lord.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, great to see you who are you?

Speaker 1:

I am coach Clint, lord Clint yes, formally and officially, you own a square foot of land in Scotland.

Speaker 15:

I'm a.

Speaker 6:

Scottish.

Speaker 1:

Lord yeah.

Speaker 3:

Scott, I would not want to broadsword fight you, dude. What do you do for a living?

Speaker 15:

I am a mindset coach coaching tennis. So, okay, finish my my masters in May and since then been took a, took a job coaching junior college, doing tennis and building a mindset business.

Speaker 3:

Here's the fun part you get to ask us a question, oh yeah, or multiple questions actually.

Speaker 15:

Do you remember when we met in person?

Speaker 3:

at the lake house at the lake house.

Speaker 15:

Yeah, remember how I asked us about your daughter. You're like, I'm not a dad. I knew, I knew you're gonna have.

Speaker 3:

Clint's. Clint's got that magic, lord, lord wizard.

Speaker 6:

So how's it go here?

Speaker 3:

it's your turn's one year old and four days on 10 awesome and it's she's I, she's walking. She's gonna be a flower girl my cousin's wedding tomorrow. So I'm air striking this I'm in today and I'm back over Chicago tomorrow to go back to Richmond, illinois, for my cousin's wedding. Watch my one-year-old daughter be a flower girl our spells are working

Speaker 4:

right, we're not clarifying.

Speaker 3:

Virginia need to be specific, so it's all right. So your parents say it that it's more miraculous than words can describe and I'll say again right, it's fucking like I don't remember how I heard that you're like having kids, I was like yeah you can do it so cardboard boxes, yeah, how are you gonna use those growing man like so yeah, there is a.

Speaker 3:

There is a purpose. I take all the tape off and then I lay them on the ground and it prevents the weeds from coming up and grass from coming up. So if I want to kill grass in an area or, you know, make a new garden bed or create some compost, I'll lay them down flat. It kills the grass and I'll put other stuff on top of it and then either decomposes or you know. Then I get my blank slate of dirt.

Speaker 3:

I can do what I want so you know, gardeners pull up more beneficial productive than a fisherman raising rabbits is way more raising rabbits is definitely way more, but the fishermen I'll take to the garden.

Speaker 15:

I might be your fisherman jinx. Yeah, I'm thinking about that.

Speaker 3:

It's like it just might be me it was the whole year, though, dude, it was the entire calendar year that I got skunked at the lake house, but I did eventually deliver the first time.

Speaker 1:

I met you walking across the lawn and you were carrying catfish and I was like who the hell is this?

Speaker 10:

dude, fried catfish and mojito has never been done and I was like I didn't experience exact opposite.

Speaker 15:

I was all ready for the catfish.

Speaker 3:

We did see some crazy shit out there. Yeah, we were looking out like what the fuck? Is that you saw some weird stuff out there, like what that was the third weirdest thing I've ever seen the alien story no different. I mean, the alien story is a separate event, but there was some weird shit out there. I don't know what we saw what do you?

Speaker 4:

think we saw that was the deed in the canoe.

Speaker 15:

So yeah, there's that, don't know what's that all right, so yeah so we we got on a call weeks ago, months yeah months, months, you've been back. It wasn't till after we got off that call but I realized like, oh crap, like where I spent a year, yeah, yeah. So then back to the beach each life.

Speaker 1:

I yeah, I go out there as often as I can. When I, when you and I spoke, I had been out there for like three or four days because I just was having a moment and I was like I gotta get out of here and, yeah, I go out there. I went out there like two, probably three weeks ago now for like the last real day of summer and that was awesome. And now I'm transitioning to fall Barbie instead of beach Barbie, pumpkin spice yeah yeah.

Speaker 3:

I went to Virginia Beach on Tuesday with real very nice by mid 70s.

Speaker 15:

I body surfed in a hurricane in Chesapeake, of course, yeah he told me this story and I was immediately concerned.

Speaker 7:

Clint you are not supposed to do that.

Speaker 3:

This is the guy that like kept, kept going through a swamp with, like steel rebar stuck through his legs.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, yeah, wasn't just like 100 yards is all right, you can either ask us another question or you can tag our next friend to come join us, not today bring him over so I was coding, for instance, and then got to be assist with his class and so cool, seeing that's like he physically different oh, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah so yeah, send him over thanks, good bye brother has?

Speaker 3:

has Cody been on the show before? Don't forget our cookies here he comes welcome down brother hello, how are you?

Speaker 1:

we're great. How are you living the dream? Welcome to.

Speaker 3:

Richmond thanks what do you think so far?

Speaker 2:

first impressions it's, and it reminds me a lot of.

Speaker 3:

Boston. Whether to be offended or not, I'm offended.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna take out the sword oh my god, oh we went up to, like, the state Capitol building or whatever up on the hill. That was a really cool area.

Speaker 1:

We've only been here a couple hours good first impression okay, we dig it yeah so, all right, we're gonna keep some order to this chaos, for tell us your name. We already said your name multiple times, cody.

Speaker 2:

Ringle.

Speaker 1:

Hey, cody Ringle what do you do professionally? I am the operations lead at active life, the flagship in Long Beach, new York and you may have just heard him last week all of two days ago yeah, and in a full, deep dive conversation. So, yeah, you can learn more about that in a full episode with a good conversation we had a great conversation. Oh hell yeah, clint Cody, what are you looking forward to most this weekend?

Speaker 2:

it's a great question. I'm looking forward to all the workshops and the breakouts that we're gonna do tomorrow morning, and then, obviously, the breath work, uh-huh at the work, the amphitheater, mm-hmm, very excited for that. Yeah, it's gonna be an experience that.

Speaker 1:

That is the experience of this whole thing. That's like the peak moment that we're building everyone, what time? Does that start mark starts at 530 mark, will likely ramp at 7 730 and then Brandon will hit perfect yeah excellent.

Speaker 3:

Brandon's gonna do a full blown breath work session yeah with the music in the gym oh yeah, you know, we had a boo boo what a boo boo with Brandon.

Speaker 1:

I get to I last week, I landed in Phoenix and his wife calls me and she says Brandon, you can't do the event.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh and I was like the fuck, you can't. I was like no, he can. What's going on? She's like, well, all of his gear was stolen out of his truck, his laptop, which has all this music. There was a whole, it's a whole thing going on and I just I breathe alone, slow, hanging out, just being like you know what. This is all good, we can solve this problem, we'll figure it out. And we got the whole team on board. We had Adam on tech support, we had mark on talk branded down off the clip we got him a new computer.

Speaker 1:

We got him producing new music and kept him on his game so he could come out and deliver. So, yeah, that was the moment that I heard it. I thought to myself. I was like, well, if this, this, you know, I stuck with it. I was like, no, the vision I've had, the vision it's happened, it's gonna happen, it's all good. So, yeah, you heard it here first, wow that's a goody goody

Speaker 3:

gun drops five.

Speaker 2:

I've heard one what a turn around that's gonna be the crescendo moment has to happen, so I'm glad. I got facilitating on the back thank you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was like alright first. Like we can't tell mark first, we tell Adam for a whole strategy, communication, and then we got it. We got it all set up, so that's what.

Speaker 2:

What are you looking forward to most this weekend?

Speaker 1:

you beat me to it. I was just gonna ask you get to ask us something I'm looking forward to. I'm definitely very looking forward to the breathwork and I'm also like weirdly looking forward to the end when I can just like sit back and take it all in and replay the tape in my head and see how the whole thing went and get the feedback of how everybody had such a great time and just what you know builds on this for next year, what we're gonna do and how it's gonna be even better, and so I love that. I love that like final moment of where it's like wow, that was really special and that's just totally cool. So I'm looking forward to that too.

Speaker 3:

I'm getting talked into this breathwork even more and more especially after what he's overcome, to be there. I'm gonna like support my boy. Show up. Give him another person crowd, you know yeah yeah, jason's in the middle of a cookie.

Speaker 3:

I know mid-sandys mid-sandys mid-hot dog, it's not a sandwich, not a sandwich, 100% not a sandwich, for the record. I agree. Well, thanks, man. What I'm looking forward to most about Richmond Virginia this weekend is this right here, because I'm back home. Tomorrow it's my cousin's wedding, my daughter's a flower girl, so Beautiful, yeah. So I'm taking a 6 30 am flight back and so to get to be here and be in the vibes I'm happy, love it.

Speaker 1:

You can ask us another question if you want.

Speaker 2:

What makes this weekend a success for you?

Speaker 1:

Good one.

Speaker 2:

I feel like we already have Jason's.

Speaker 1:

That his scooter miles transfer and all of a sudden Bird gives him a $500 gift card.

Speaker 3:

Bird knew I was here. They just decided to pop up and say allow Bird to use your location. You're not using the app and I hadn't opened that app since I don't know Austin, Texas, last year. So yikes, yeah, the scooters knew they were on me.

Speaker 2:

You just wake up tomorrow morning and they're all sitting outside. That's good, that's good.

Speaker 1:

I guess my answer is that everybody who came walked out feeling lighter, brighter and really happy that they made the trip.

Speaker 3:

I forgot the question what makes this weekend?

Speaker 2:

a success for you.

Speaker 3:

Oh, everyone has fun. Everybody has fun and is safe and stays safe and gets home.

Speaker 1:

Thanks dad.

Speaker 10:

Just whatever.

Speaker 3:

I want everybody to like. Richmond and never compare it to something like Boston ever Ever.

Speaker 12:

Sorry.

Speaker 16:

Ron.

Speaker 1:

Cody, you get to tag our next subject. Who do you want to hear on this microphone?

Speaker 7:

Speaker 3:

He just like the crowd came and all of a sudden, it was like that one. I had a feeling, let's go.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Tell us the connection. I don't think I know the connection.

Speaker 7:

So Cody was at CrossFit Angle.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right. Yeah, that's where I'm from. I'm still just a bad ass member yeah.

Speaker 5:

Speaker 7:

Let's see the last time. Well, I was telling as soon as I left, like two days later, I got a call with you. Two days later, I think, I signed up.

Speaker 8:

I did sign up for a level one and two.

Speaker 7:

What did it take from last year's community? Everybody has been awesome to talk to, everybody's willing to share, like Jay Sirdave, or just had a conversation with Joel Cochran, that's 15 minutes of knowledge right there.

Speaker 1:

You can't walk away from.

Speaker 3:

Joel Cochran came to my house this morning For I'm not kidding three minutes he came in I made him a espresso, he left and I was like oh, okay, Well that was an impactful three minutes For getting an important part because he walked in and he talked me up for like two of those three minutes.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

It's like whatever he does, he gases you up.

Speaker 1:

Alright, guys, new questions ask him.

Speaker 3:

Tell the listeners what do you do professionally.

Speaker 7:

What do I do professionally? Let's see which part. All of it, all of it, Anything you?

Speaker 3:

were professional at, and because I have the context here, how you used one to help build the other, how you used one to help build the other.

Speaker 7:

Team me up.

Speaker 3:

I see.

Speaker 7:

So I'm a retail lumberyard salesman. I sell to a nationwide home builder, the largest home builder in America. I sell to one of their divisions and I've taken and lifted into their division and have done soft talk, detox Should detox, soft talk keywords, some leadership stuff with them. We got their president in a dunk tank or not in a dunk tank in a cold plunge A couple weeks ago, nice, wow, I've taken it that way.

Speaker 3:

How many people do you have at that one?

Speaker 7:

45.

Speaker 3:

Oh, dude, that's amazing.

Speaker 7:

It has grown. So just their one division. They went from 20 to 25, the first couple to 45. They are digging it. It's been good.

Speaker 1:

Dave, what's your question?

Speaker 10:

What do you do for that beard? Selfishly and curious, Let it grow. Let it grow that's my answer.

Speaker 7:

Alright, great Talking to Chase. The other day this was six months of growth For four days of fishing. That's all it is.

Speaker 3:

When's your fishing trip?

Speaker 7:

Speaker 1:

The Kimberly latte, the double shot of our espresso Made with an organic dark roast coffee and raw milk seemed raw milk.

Speaker 7:

The raw milk is.

Speaker 1:

It's the key, and oh any other key Is that there's got to be spring water In the machine. Alright, actually, I will go even a more level Of specificity. I got these beans in Hawaii. That were the best coffee I've ever tasted, but it's like 40 bucks for 8 ounces. So I bought like six of them and then I was like I cannot continue, like I don't get paid enough for this. You got to. You like to come?

Speaker 3:

gollum with her.

Speaker 1:

Literally I gifted one back To Adam and I was like this Do you understand?

Speaker 7:

So you got to roast allergy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they have good coffee. Yeah, very good.

Speaker 7:

Very good, the raw milk is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it really is.

Speaker 3:

I had one of those lattes today Before we did our one on one podcast.

Speaker 7:

That was great.

Speaker 3:

Did you give Chase the camera the Dave?

Speaker 1:

I gave him the cam. He didn't ask for a Dave.

Speaker 3:

I didn't know there was a Dave.

Speaker 1:

So, the Dave is the the Kimberly with salt on top.

Speaker 3:

Sea salt.

Speaker 7:

Big sea salt guy. Totally so. What have I got for you? I don't know as much about you as I do, chase. How's the Garns?

Speaker 3:

Garns, great man. Garns, great bunnies are great. We got like two weeks until it frosts and I'm going to pull up about, I'm hoping like 50 pounds of sweet potatoes, oh, hell, yeah. So I'm really purple sweet potatoes and Japanese sweet potatoes.

Speaker 7:

Which I'm thrilled about. Those Japanese sweet potatoes are so good.

Speaker 3:

So good yeah.

Speaker 7:

So let's watch the blue zone.

Speaker 3:

So that's all the purple sweet potatoes.

Speaker 7:

I didn't know where to find them now.

Speaker 12:

I do First page in here.

Speaker 10:

Speaker 7:

What's your, what's the favorite Part of your Favorite part of coaching, Mmm?

Speaker 3:

Mmm, every Story that I work, every client I help with Just An adjustment, be it not a story. It gives me A shared and a new perspective On life and being able to See, you know if, if we, you know, if everybody's A pinhole through which we see the universe Through different perspectives. To be able to get a peek Through their pinhole for a moment in time.

Speaker 10:

Speaker 7:

It's very cool and you've got to see Through my door viewer.

Speaker 3:

Yes sir, yeah, what a fun ride it's been.

Speaker 7:

It's been awesome, it's been fun. More to come man In the nation's largest home builder.

Speaker 3:

Let's go May or may not, have an agreement that, when it goes well, to get taken to bigger offices. So you know like.

Speaker 7:

Absolutely Big stuff on the horizon. I'm excited.

Speaker 3:

You got a choice you can ask us another question or you can go find the next person to take the mic.

Speaker 7:

Oh man.

Speaker 1:

I'll find somebody for you. Okay, I'm gonna put in a request. We've had about six dudes in a row and they're like oh, I need some girls.

Speaker 12:

I need some girls. I got you.

Speaker 1:

Thanks brother great job. I was sitting here and I'm like we're not all the women. And then I'm like oh, they're just out there hanging out chatting.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, and people are starting to slowly Filt over the bar in the arcade too. True, true.

Speaker 1:

That may be when it might be a matter of just you know, sending them.

Speaker 3:

Sending them our way. Oh, you know what Jen Brock's?

Speaker 1:

here, where is? She, he's gonna pick, he's gonna find.

Speaker 3:

She went, Jenny went.

Speaker 1:

No, we're talking. We're only talking to new people.

Speaker 3:

No, that's cool, and I saw him walking over. He's at table with what three ladies at it right now.

Speaker 1:

Do we, what do we got?

Speaker 8:

We got.

Speaker 1:

I can see Chelsea Hawkins right there. I see Starlett, I see I see Justine the justice. I want to talk to her for sure. And then we got Jen Broxman's right over there, jen's at the table. He's standing there. We got Melissa Curtis standing right behind him, so there are in fact women here, Ladies who wants to come up? Yeah, who do we got? Melissa Curtis you over here, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Can we get her a booster seat? Yeah, we can get her. You might need to get on your tippy toes To get up to this.

Speaker 16:

Okay, I'll sit on my knees.

Speaker 3:

See, she knew already, she has to fix it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my god, welcome, thank you. Thank you for bringing the feminine energy over. We've been talking to all guys and I made a request as the next person.

Speaker 3:

We talk to has to be a woman. You gotta do it pick the best lady out there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right, so here we go. We're gonna go back to our standard set of questions. You guys ready to roll down the line? I'll ask the first one. Then, dave, you go next.

Speaker 3:

Done.

Speaker 1:

What is your name?

Speaker 16:

My name is Melissa.

Speaker 3:

Curtis.

Speaker 14:

What do you do professionally?

Speaker 1:

You can say anything you want.

Speaker 14:

Rachel, already, you know, of course she wrote that barrier. Yeah, I imagine.

Speaker 16:

I co-create a business, co-owner business, called the Evolve Women Project and we create spaces for women Both virtually and Retreat in person.

Speaker 3:

Amazing. What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Speaker 16:

When I was down here for the resist.

Speaker 3:

Hold on. Let me rewind that. What are you most looking forward to? This strength?

Speaker 1:

Oh say that again. How are you letting me say that this entire time?

Speaker 12:

chase. It's been like an hour.

Speaker 4:

What did you change, strengthend?

Speaker 3:

What are you most looking forward to this strengthend?

Speaker 13:

Versus weekend.

Speaker 3:

I think, nobody gets weak in the round.

Speaker 16:

Yeah, the breath work, the outdoor. I've never done an outdoor breath work session. I'm intrigued to see how that goes. And I'm in a house with 10 people and we connected. Crazy already Just continuing the connections.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Very cool. Now the fun part you get to ask us a question or multiple questions.

Speaker 4:

Anyway.

Speaker 3:

That's been.

Speaker 10:

The Spice Station Response.

Speaker 16:

How is the enlisted method or being a part of this community changed your life?

Speaker 3:

Yes, yes.

Speaker 16:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

That's given me a vocation and something I love to do.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would say that, beyond what it has done for me professionally, which influences my answer, is that I really love my life and I enjoy what I do and I enjoy being me, and that is something that I wouldn't have easily said before doing this work and something that I wouldn't really have been able to own before doing this work.

Speaker 3:

I'll give a real answer From gym ownership and doing fitness and knowing that there is more. There was a bigger lever to pull in finding this and being able to pull that lever and at the same time, I'll incorporate the answer I gave Todd about with each time I pull that lever with a new client or a new story, it gives me another perspective on life. It's the most rad thing. It's the most rad thing.

Speaker 16:

I feel that too. That's awesome.

Speaker 1:

All right, you can ask another question or you can tag somebody in.

Speaker 3:

And I'm going to request for Kim. Kim probably wants another girl.

Speaker 1:

No, the girl. I mean the girl, you know. If there's more women that want to come bring them all in over. Oh, there's secrets happening yeah.

Speaker 3:

We don't like secrets here.

Speaker 16:

I'm going to tag in Casey. Yeah, bring him over.

Speaker 3:

It's a great tag, one of the few, yeah, great.

Speaker 1:

Great tag.

Speaker 8:

Now we really are sport commentating and it's like, hey, what's going on over here?

Speaker 1:

Oh tag tag tag Okay cool.

Speaker 3:

That looks epic Joel.

Speaker 12:

That does look epic.

Speaker 3:

Is that? Is that venison? Who's that? Where'd you find that?

Speaker 1:

You can talk right into that microphone there, sir.

Speaker 3:

Oh, what Thompson's.

Speaker 1:

Oh yes, the grocery store.

Speaker 3:

Oh, what Thompson's.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, what Thompson's Correct, here we go.

Speaker 3:

Get right up on that.

Speaker 1:

Welcome, welcome, all right. Reverse order of the questions. Chase, you go first.

Speaker 3:

What are you most looking forward?

Speaker 1:

to no.

Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

Speaker 8:

Not reverse order of who asked no okay.

Speaker 15:

I can see where that.

Speaker 10:

What's your name?

Speaker 3:

My name is Casey Pepper.

Speaker 10:

Awesome, I'll ask the same question again what?

Speaker 3:

do you do professionally?

Speaker 10:

Currently.

Speaker 3:

I am a client advocate for Paychex, so payroll company, and then I also work part time as a night manager for our grocery store.

Speaker 11:

Right.

Speaker 3:

And then studying, to be in the middle of it. Love it Okay.

Speaker 1:

There we go. Hey, we like it, we like goals, we like timelines. What are you most excited about this weekend? Oh, man Well actually, I'm going to change the question what's been the highlight of your day so far?

Speaker 3:

Sustain, answer to the question you had before. Finally meeting the life coach in real life when I heard Chase is coming down, yes, it's time this needs to happen, so see you here.

Speaker 8:

You can move here anytime you want.

Speaker 12:

I just want to sort the flies.

Speaker 3:

Honestly like to really answer that question is what am I looking forward to the energy?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean driving into Richmond the energy that you could feel, I could feel it yeah.

Speaker 11:

It was like oh man, there's a lot of good people coming here and they're bringing it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 8:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Got a little conversation with Adam earlier.

Speaker 17:

It was the same thing. What do you know about an lift?

Speaker 3:

Talk to Adam about Atlas Shrugged.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 11:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, got to read. That's a must read.

Speaker 1:

I think it's actually talked to Vanda about it, because I don't know if Adam is as obsessed as Vanda.

Speaker 3:

I mean Adam's pretty Vanda is the newest introduction to Atlas Shrugged. Adam has read it before and Vanda is experiencing it for the first time.

Speaker 1:

Got it Okay.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, it's fun part. You get to ask us a question. So this is a random question that I, when I'm meditating and driving, I think if I could go back to my 14 year old self and give them five words and then disappear. What are those five words? It will all work out.

Speaker 12:

Okay, wow, five words.

Speaker 3:

Keep going buy Bitcoin now. I'm not making any changes like that, though.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I am so funny story about that.

Speaker 3:

Casey had a whole Bitcoin and my coaching is super valuable because what happened to that Bitcoin? A few years back I cast it out to join the Parmal man Respect. Respect you owe him some money now. Give him those fives, have him send them to the arcade. Oh man.

Speaker 1:

I would tell her I don't know if this is five words, five words, you, you're a babe, that's what I tell her. There we go.

Speaker 6:

Perfect, you left two to spare. You are a babe. Yeah, there we go. Buy Bitcoin, buy Bitcoin. You are a Bitcoin babe.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I always thought how old is Bitcoin?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's not, I mean it's yeah. Well, great question.

Speaker 12:

Yeah, that is a good question, well done.

Speaker 3:

What would you tell your 14 year old self? So while I was driving, I always tried to narrow it down to three words, and it was similar to Dave's pie Save Bitcoin. Nice God bless it Honestly given five. I would emulate what you said. It will all work out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, you lose that so often so quickly, yeah, and then you find a lift.

Speaker 11:

There it is.

Speaker 5:

So, guys, I have, I think now I know who did the job.

Speaker 1:

And for the next guest, it's big will If we're talking about Bitcoin, we got to get him over here.

Speaker 5:

So find him and send him our way.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, it's so. Adam and big will did a audition tape to be on getting lifted to talk about Bitcoin, and it still has yet to happen. However, we can make it happen and we will get a we'll get another pitch right now and see if the listeners actually want that.

Speaker 12:

He's going to be going all the way into the arcade.

Speaker 3:

And the bar to find big will All right.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know, it's not that hard.

Speaker 3:

He's tall, you'll find him. He's not going to get distracted.

Speaker 1:

He's not. He's not going to get distracted, he's going to do it.

Speaker 2:

He can accomplish, oh slow mo, that's funny.

Speaker 5:

Paging will select her to the coach's round table.

Speaker 12:

Come to the principal's office?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so, guys, I, um I actually have a task for will this weekend, which is to help me figure out how I actually accidentally walked myself out of my Bitcoin wallet, and I now need to like scrape that and move it somewhere else.

Speaker 1:

But I'm totally pulling the girl card of like I don't want to figure this out, I'm like help.

Speaker 2:

Like.

Speaker 5:

I told chase earlier.

Speaker 1:

I'm wearing a dress. My muscles don't work. He's not. This is back from oh. He gave us a double thumbs up.

Speaker 3:

Okay, he'll be here shortly. So, to clue in, we were talking about Bitcoin with Casey and then I said go, get will.

Speaker 1:

And then we took a 30 and a second intermission to have this and then, as it fell, we had to go to the principal's office, so we had to go get will, and then we took a 30 and a second intermission to have this, and then, as it felt appropriate, Dave's not your man.

Speaker 11:

Give us your name First. Question your name. My name is big will. That's a strong name. Okay, now next question is German for butcher, slaughter butcher. Of course it is.

Speaker 1:

In the kitchen? Yeah, exactly. What did you do this morning?

Speaker 11:

Uh, I cooked breakfast with Kimberly for about a dozen people. We had some delicious Kimberly made homemade sourdough English muffins which were incredible, and then we had some sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches on those English muffins had a couple. It's good times, some of the best people in the world and good food, good coffee, 100% tough to top. Great food, great coffee.

Speaker 1:

What do you do professionally?

Speaker 11:

I do a few things. I'm a coach and I'm a lifeguard and a entrepreneur.

Speaker 1:

That one's a dab.

Speaker 8:

A dab and a dab.

Speaker 11:

Some other online business ventures Dab a dab, adieu.

Speaker 3:

Indeed. What are you most looking forward to about this weekend? The strength that we've been correct, strength yeah.

Speaker 11:

So I'm super excited about so many people who are speaking tomorrow. I was just talking to Mike and some others about making choices for the breakout session, so I'm so excited for all the different segments tomorrow and, most of all, remembering coming off of some other meetups with great and lifted people on official hangs and, last year at Austin, most excited for the connection and the community here. It's like super charging my battery being in this community and you guys know I don't need to tell you negation. Acknowledge that you end up having the coolest conversations of your life with people who are practicing, getting better, doing better and especially working their stories, and tends to end up you hear a lot of good stories too, because what happens when you work your stories is you also become good at telling them and talking. So some of my favorite conversations are at events just like these, with and lifted peeps.

Speaker 3:

I totally agree, Dave. You want to ask them the fourth question? Oh no, the fun part before turning. You get to ask my mic.

Speaker 1:

Welcome back, dave oh thanks, I'm back.

Speaker 3:

You get to ask us a question dude, yeah, or multiple questions.

Speaker 11:

What would you like to ask? Is there? Is there another question that I'm going to be asked? No, stay in the moment Will.

Speaker 1:

There you go. That was a question. Sorry, you're going by.

Speaker 10:

You only have two wishes left no, you only have one.

Speaker 11:

I get second wishes, infinity wishes. You got them. Got them in a classic loophole.

Speaker 1:

Dave, how are those burgers?

Speaker 3:

They're good.

Speaker 1:

I'm complete Thank you though.

Speaker 11:

If you could go back and tell so each of you had a phase of your coaching career before you were in lifted coaches, correct? I'm guessing most of your time coaching so far has been before the lifted method Times spent coaching. If you could go back and tell, like freshman coach, you a piece of advice and it can't be go taking lifted level one. If you could go tell you, as a freshman coach, one piece of advice or just a, you know, a bit of coaching philosophy advice that got him through the career, what would it be If you?

Speaker 3:

were to be able to download the experience and that that version of Chase's head, yeah, I would likely tell them to tell them to stay the course, because I'm absolutely stoked with how it's been turning out Awesome. And you know, like if I had to pick one like look at it from your client's perspective it was very early on that would be likely the one most impactful thing. See it from where they're coming from.

Speaker 11:

Yeah, it's easy to get caught up in coach brain and forget that you started there too.

Speaker 10:

Follow my gut way earlier Way early.

Speaker 3:

I knew exactly what I needed to do and I just ignored it because I was thinking my way around it or having my heart away around it, you know. So I mean, it's just got the gut knows.

Speaker 11:

It's like Adam was saying earlier in a different conversation, but getting caught up in the middle versus like being so new and inexperienced that you just go for it and then going through that cycle of doing everything to fit in or catch up or keep up or whatever it is, and then eventually you come to the other side of that bell curve and you're like I do what I want and things go really well.

Speaker 1:

I would tell my freshman coach self you're better at this than you think. Don't let the imposter syndrome get you. So you know, like know that you're a pro and stop listening to the people who think that this is bullshit.

Speaker 11:

Love it. That's awesome. Yeah, love it.

Speaker 3:

So you get to continue asking those questions or go find the next volunteer.

Speaker 11:

I'm going to give it a few seconds to see if they come up with a good question. That's a great question for a volunteer.

Speaker 3:

Kim, do you ever request? Because you've had requests for years. I had a request for one, so Eric's thing.

Speaker 1:

Let's get Crystal Crespo over here yeah. Let's get Crystal.

Speaker 12:

Crespo, I'll go get her.

Speaker 1:

Paige and Crystal Crespo.

Speaker 11:

Thank you, thanks brother, I'll see you soon.

Speaker 1:

You just walked right through the door just as I looked up and I was like yes.

Speaker 11:

Started to think there was weed in that pen. What?

Speaker 3:

Whatever, how are you? There it is nice and close to the mic.

Speaker 13:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

There you go okay how's my hair?

Speaker 13:

you look great Yo.

Speaker 1:

So all right, here we're gonna queue you up with the standard questions at first, and then we'll make this even more fun. What's your name? Speak? Get it right up into that mic, crystal.

Speaker 13:

I thought it was private Crespo that was when I was an L1. What do you do? Professionally so I am a healthy wellness mindset coach and I've been using the lifted method in my Arbonne business. So network marketing, dispelling all the myths of you don't have to be one of those girls.

Speaker 3:

Rock on. What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Speaker 13:

Mercy myself in the community and really, really welcoming everyone into Richmond and you know it's dope where we have a dope group out here and sharing and lifted with as many people as we can Hell yeah yeah, all right, here's a moment You've been waiting for, you want, you've been wanting to be on this podcast for as long your starstruck.

Speaker 1:

You get to host now and ask the questions.

Speaker 3:

Okay yes, how did it feel to do a thousand? Storywork sessions so good, so good. The fulfillment of a long-term goal felt like it was right, felt like it was inevitable. And then I got scared about now I have to do like ten thousand, now I get to do ten thousand, set even bigger goals. So I went through that and now, since I'm on the other side, it feels good again.

Speaker 13:

Cool, and since Mark told me to ask a good coach, ask good questions. What's the next goal?

Speaker 3:

Ten thousand sessions.

Speaker 13:

Oh, hell yeah.

Speaker 8:

Okay.

Speaker 13:

Kim, let's see. Everyone that I've met tonight has told me oh oh, you're Chris. Your crew says mom, my French bulldog cruising down the street. Follow him at cruising down the street. We have joint custody.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they know.

Speaker 1:

We can get dog t-shirts next time. Yeah, is there a question?

Speaker 13:

Um well, I don't know. I feel like I could ask you. I will say the best thing about being enrichment is that I get to live beneath him. She's awesome and she's in, introduced me to and lifted, and that has been amazing. And Falling into this question, I met you this morning. It's like I already know you, but you don't know me. Hi, tell me something I don't know about. Can we can?

Speaker 16:

we say can we?

Speaker 1:

tell? Can you tell the entire listeners of getting lifted, something they don't know about you?

Speaker 3:

Oh, that's tough because I'm I know, but maybe there's something.

Speaker 13:

Yeah, I learned about your daughter today. Like, I do feel like.

Speaker 3:

I was really, really into Dragon Ball Z. Like Tied it in great question. Thank you All right.

Speaker 1:

So here's the next game. You can either tag the next guest or you can ask another question if you want.

Speaker 13:

So that's what will. Did he tagged as I was walking through the door and he talked to me. Well, I'm gonna do the same thing. I'm going to tag Rachel. Has she been on yet she has.

Speaker 4:

Jenny also has already been on.

Speaker 1:

You may need to Do. You want us to phone a friend and I can. I can tag somebody. I.

Speaker 13:

Want to tag one of my classmates. Oh yeah, I was actually talking to him before I came in here and he's over there. Yeah, yeah, we talked about coming both on here, because so we're gonna bring this full circle. Yeah, this is perfect. Yes, welcome right.

Speaker 1:

We talked about that abracadabra, right? So Crystal says that you were just talking about coming over here and I just said I was like what do you know about that abracadabra?

Speaker 15:

I got him with her word. She influenced there it is so all right?

Speaker 1:

first question mystery guess, tell us your name.

Speaker 15:

My name is Rob Stewart.

Speaker 1:

All right, Dave, you're up next question.

Speaker 3:

Right, what do you do professionally?

Speaker 15:

I coach, I coach. That's all I do, that's all I've how long have you been coaching?

Speaker 1:

give the give them a some. Give the people give that away.

Speaker 15:

I've been coaching for 30 years. Hell yeah, 30 years, long as you guys have been alive when the hell?

Speaker 3:

How old were you when you started coach?

Speaker 15:

I fresh out of college, I mean 1992 I started started coaching and Open up my gym a couple years after that. I've had it ever since Hell yeah. So coaching in one form or another I've done. I'm a massage therapist, I'm a fitness coach, I weight loss and now heavily into the mindset stuff. So it's a big part of what I do, love it, hmm very cool.

Speaker 3:

What are you most looking forward to? This strength and Chase's ask me.

Speaker 15:

I actually use that with my, my group, one of my mindset groups, you know. So no one says weekend anymore, it's all. It's always what's up for your strong. I love that. Love that. Looking to learn I mean, I'm a lifelong learner, so I'm looking to glean something from everybody in this room, trying to meet as many people as I can and see how everyone is using the methodology and, yeah, hoping to take some of it back home and apply it to my peeps and to actually Hug Kimberly in the flesh. I'm excited to hug you back.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we're gonna flip the script. You get to ask us a question.

Speaker 15:

Well, one of the things I want to discover is how to set one of these up for myself. So what's one of the first steps to Start? Implementing your own successful High-cast, not even successful, just get the ball rolling. I immediately. Anytime anyone asked me that question, I send them Shlomo's. Get started guide.

Speaker 1:

This is slow, more our podcast producer and he put together a it's like a I don't know Like three or four page doc that has everything you need to know about how to start your own podcast Down to, like you know, here's the gear that you'd want and here's what to do and here's how to how to get it going. So I will send you that and then that in mighty networks or I can definitely can put it in mighty networks?

Speaker 15:

Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 8:

I've been keeping that secret for myself.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I have to say honestly, like one of the best things about doing this show is I've been so supported in it and I never really Like I didn't have to learn how to do this. I said we said these guys talked me into doing it. I said, okay, adam, and Adam talked to Shlomo and like bought all the gear and then Shlomo like told me, okay, do this, press this button and start talking. And so I get to. I've had an easy road to doing it and I which has been really I am super grateful for because I get to have the fun experience of showing up and talking and I know a little bit, but I am definitely not the resource to teach somebody how to start their own, because I'd be like Get this guy my first podcast at the gym one of my coaches said, hey, let's start a podcast.

Speaker 3:

So it was. It was all Google and we found a hosting platform which was anchor and Going through a couple loopholes and get anchor to push out to Spotify. An apple anchor is now Spotify for podcasters as other platforms like Buzzsprout. And then a mic and they could be these dancing shores or it could be something that's just a USB mic that plugs in the computer to start and from there Garage band on the Mac and getting it to record. Underthink starting it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just started record 10 episodes, don't even release them, just do it, and then, yeah, yeah, iterate from there and then so the same basic reply start, start, keep going, isn't it?

Speaker 10:

isn't that so annoying how?

Speaker 1:

simple that is Cycle.

Speaker 3:

My god, really again. Hey, I gotta say one thing.

Speaker 2:

I'm a cyclist.

Speaker 15:

I'm an avid cyclist. So every Thursday morning I ride about 60 miles. Let's go, and I put in my earbud in the right ear and I hit Wednesday's episode hell, yeah, oven lifted. So it takes me about three hours to do that ride. So I'll hit it. And then when it gets to the end, I'm cruising. Yeah, we're cruising hard. Yeah, so it's, it's gonna be cool Next or whenever this comes out. Yeah, listen to myself on ride now. Yeah, cool as that.

Speaker 3:

Huh, yeah, that is super cool very very rare Love that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah the um yeah one of the things I think is really fun about getting to meet you guys all in person is like there's and in some ways, like I get to interact with more people than David chase do, because I see A lot of almost everybody, as they're getting onboarded in some capacity, and so, like I already have these familiarity with people, but I, I know it's still a little bit one-sided because you guys know a lot about me, which is, you know, it's like a somewhat weird feeling, but it's also like, oh, whatever, you guys are my friends, full transparency over here, whatever, so you know it's fun and yeah, and you know, I think, it's a really fun ride.

Speaker 1:

So you know it's fun and yeah, and if you one thing I will say about doing a podcast is really like the I'm making the assumption that you've impacted a lot of people over your 30 years of coaching Think about how many more can hear and learn from your wisdom and can share and can amplify it out. Right, because it's something that you know your past clients may listen to. It's people, your current clients, it's people you haven't met yet and it will bring really cool people into your sphere and underthink the guests.

Speaker 3:

I'm talking about it. Yeah, what's that Talk to?

Speaker 12:

anybody yeah talk to anybody.

Speaker 3:

Take past clients, who have cool stories, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, right, yeah, yeah, totally All right. I already tagged in our next guest. Usually we assign you the tag, but I just tagged in Matt Meyer right here because he popped through. So give him the official tag. Okay, this one. Yeah, you'll be able to hear us better. There it is, there it is. So I saw your head pop through right here to wave and I was like tag your next.

Speaker 10:

Well, I appreciate that. It's funny after you see everybody on zoom for so long and then you walk in and people are like, oh, he's kind of big.

Speaker 1:

I just I, you know what, I always thought you were tall, good, I got that impression, well, good.

Speaker 10:

I didn't. It was funny when I saw mark, because I told him I bought it. I got him a shirt, oh yeah and I was like, is mark big? He seems big Because of his like personality and his beard. And then when he walked downstairs was like, oh, he's just kind of a normal size guy.

Speaker 2:

What we're when. When did you see mark first?

Speaker 10:

I saw him like literally like an hour ago.

Speaker 2:

That's funny.

Speaker 10:

So it was good. It was good. How are you guys? Excellent, oh, we're having fun. You guys need to come up and like stretch your backs or something to sink for a while.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I've been getting up and fidgeting a little bit we might be, you might be.

Speaker 3:

You know, we're almost at nine o'clock here, yeah. Yeah we're not at four.

Speaker 1:

I think we can get yeah, we'll get a 15 minute 15 minute warning.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, you guys have been killing it. We're done. We're done before nine twenty.

Speaker 10:

Yes, what's your name, man? Matt Meyer.

Speaker 3:

What do you do professionally?

Speaker 10:

on the sports therapist.

Speaker 3:

Excellent. What are you most looking forward to? This strength, then, to strengthen the mind. This strength then this weekend? Oh, my mind that's fine.

Speaker 6:

Yeah.

Speaker 10:

Yeah, no, my mind all all. I just want to Basically take a giant sponge bath in the inlifton that all the inlifted Kool-aid sponge bath Like. Just give me an enema with it.

Speaker 3:

Anything you want to do. Is the enema with the sponge or is it with the Kool-aid?

Speaker 10:

Honestly, I'm down with anything. It could be a Kool-aid soap sponge.

Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying. Yeah, a little time release in there, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Matt, tell davin chase a little bit more about what you do. You say sports therapist. I'm like you're cooler than that, yeah well.

Speaker 10:

So my I'm in from Buffalo, new York, so I am a holistic sports there. So I kind of broke the mold. When I met Paul check man 20 years ago he changed the entire scope of what I do. Buffalo is about two hours away from Toronto and Paul had a really he actually used to teach a lot in Toronto so I was able to go up there and I saw him speak. I think it was in like 2002 and I it changed my entire perspective. So Paul's work really motivated me to kind of have this holistic approach to Working with athletes and injuries.

Speaker 10:

So you know all of his holistic lifestyle principles I really take very seriously been working with people and like I was just talking to wild bill and I was saying that you know the movement, the nutrition, the hydration. I I've studied those things so so long. But it was the, the thoughts and words. So Paul has the you know the modifiable factors, and thoughts and words are the first two. So they're very important. But I could never fill in the gap of how to get to that. It was like Meditation, all these things.

Speaker 10:

So when the enlisted world came into my scope, I was like this is it? This is how I can check that box and start working with people on that piece. So I work with professional athletes, I work with regular humans and they all have stories. They have injury stories. The imposter syndrome is runs a rampant in professional sports More than people would probably think, and so it's been a really awesome journey for last you know year that I've been doing the enlisted and threading it into my practice now and looking forward to adding more and more as I go. It's amazing, yeah, and sponge bath, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Anima sponge bath.

Speaker 10:

Yeah, so I'm super excited and I already went to two of your spots that you recommended.

Speaker 8:

So yeah, where'd you go? I went to scent organics for lunch amazing and then the little coffee shop rostology Yep.

Speaker 10:

So hit those two boxes yes.

Speaker 3:

I have a question, just a side comment. Yes, why did gelati celeste not make it on the guy I thought I put?

Speaker 5:

it on it. No, you know what I did? I put blue cow. What the hell is that?

Speaker 1:

I will fight you.

Speaker 10:

I will fight you right now versus blue cow.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, gelati, celeste, it's the place to go. So to pull us back on track, you get to now ask us a question.

Speaker 10:

Oh, okay, okay, um any question, any scope, anything any question, any scope out now. How did what? Was the one factor that, when you knew a lifted was going to be it for your practice or for yourself, like what was there? Like a moment where you're like, yeah, that's it call two for me.

Speaker 3:

Call two, call two I. I sandbagged my first Billy story, totally sandbagged, just did the normal thing that I like had already really worked through, and then I saw 11 other people Will fucking send it and I came back and like was like yo, I gotta apologize for Holding back, like here's my rewrite, my second draft. And by the end of the third, but really by the end of that second call, I just felt so much better, even just like talking about shit, that I was like yeah, this is it, thank you. It is difficult to pinpoint and it was most definitely in level one somewhere.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

It was the samurai sword I was looking forward to to connect the dots, similar to what you were speaking about, like I haven't talked about mindset in my gym for years and it just made it so practical.

Speaker 10:

Yeah, I just I just caught up on a couple podcasts that you all did, so I'm familiar with your, you know, with what you've been doing for me. It was interesting because what I found I was like. I was like this is business, business. But where it's really started affecting me right off the bat personally was also like with my family life, with I have two daughters and with my wife. That's why that name you posted that one. If I even look at it, I just break out laughing. He's probably thinking about words.

Speaker 10:

Yes and I'm like, oh, my god.

Speaker 1:

Guys, I don't even I can't convey how much I impressed myself with that.

Speaker 10:

It's amazing, it's so amazing.

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, the guy and the girl turning over.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I shared that story, thinking about other girls, yeah that's right.

Speaker 3:

That's me and Sarah.

Speaker 10:

That was it. So just improving you know the way that we speak and live? Uh, it's just it's. It's just amazing stuff. Yeah, amazing stuff Totally. Is big gala to cool Like yeah, exactly, I've been thinking about.

Speaker 1:

So my answer to when I knew that and lifted was a thing I To be quite frank, I think it was like much more recently, like I found the work, loved it, started to study it, enjoyed it, got caught in the wave of Um all of the good energy and the good vibe and knew I could contribute to it and wanted to do it all.

Speaker 1:

And I would say that it was more Recently, that it's like anchored in that this is something I'm going to do for the long haul Versus something that I was doing because it felt good and it was the next move and it was like everything was um. It wasn't a bit like, it wasn't necessarily like a long-sighted decision, it was a I want to learn this, I want to do this, I want to teach this, and I kept saying yes and being on the other side of the um, being on the side of of Building the business and running the company right with with adam and mark and the other people that we've worked with. You know there's there's a whole like what this is for me is so different for then you know everyone else and it's still 100 the same.

Speaker 3:

I want to change my answer. The first time I showed up at the wake house and I guess those are so critical yeah. And anybody who's here for the first time, connecting with other people in person tonight and like well, resonate with this. It's oh, oh yeah, I knew this stuff was cool and this is what it does for.

Speaker 10:

Everybody. The community that y'all built is really amazing, because I've never met anybody here, but you feel, because the work is so deep, um, and Kimberly, I was going to say too, listening to your podcast like from the start, even though it's been a couple years from now, I mean you, you, absolutely amazing.

Speaker 3:

She got so good, you were so good, she got so good horrible, but like it was.

Speaker 7:

So you're just evolved so much and just you're confident it was it's really.

Speaker 10:

It was very, uh, very humbling to see that. So thank you two dose for that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's, and jave brought that up to me today when we were talking one to one. And it's funny. Like from my perspective I've been talking about this is a lot of like catching up to myself and like really realizing where matt and what's going on, because I enjoy what I'm doing so much. It feels like a flow to me. This is like and we were joking about this earlier Like this is the safe space for me to be here and talk to all you guys like this. This is great, I love doing this. If I had to walk out through the room, I would walk out of here exhausted, because I would just be like, oh my god, and I'm gonna go do that right now.

Speaker 3:

But it's like Cookies, and then straight to the arcade.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go and hug everyone and interact with everyone and like for me, sitting here and I also saying this with wild bill like there's a part of me that when I sit down at the mic, there's a part of me that moves to the side and another part of me that comes through and it feels so easy and natural for me. And it's also something that I've worked to develop too, because I could have just let it Be whatever and I would say, in general, it's been like this has been the highlight of my Professional career so far and like honestly this event.

Speaker 10:

You've done a great job and, like just all the people and all the community has been. Uh, it's just, it feels like family. Feels like family.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love it. Yeah, it's so good. Well, okay, All right guys. So let's look at the clock it's 9 13. So what I'm thinking is that we wrap it here because this is a long one. Yeah, this is a long one, and we got people to talk to we've got, you know, people to hug.

Speaker 1:

We only have like 45 minutes left their official time in this space, exactly so listeners, thanks for joining us, thanks for sitting down with us, all the people who came over and hung out. I wish I could talk to everyone in this room and I will talk to everyone in this room on this podcast.

Speaker 3:

In this evening, next year's event. We'll have this ready when people are walking and we'll get so many more people.

Speaker 1:

We're learning so much too, and just the ability of like how it flows and yeah, it's been, honestly, has been so fun. And we had a couple people that were like, nervous, comes it down. And we had other people who were like, oh, I'm so ready.

Speaker 3:

Some of the people who were nervous, like Sent it the most on the questions they asked us yeah, so it's been so fun.

Speaker 1:

So all right off to the party chase 327 of course. Three, two, one. Okay, we faked you out, we're back because the man who started the whole thing and ran away from us furiously looking for name tags and apparently did not come back with name tags, because I'm a little confused about why no one has name tags.

Speaker 5:

I'll tell you in a second. Yeah, and.

Speaker 1:

And we're gonna close this thing out officially, officially, with the man, the myth, the legend mark england, sorry guys All right, so first question so we're gonna ask you the same questions we ask everyone else. Yeah all right, what's your name?

Speaker 5:

My name is mark england.

Speaker 3:

What do you do professionally, mark? I break spells and I cast spells hmm, what are you most looking forward to about this strength?

Speaker 5:

Do? I can I only pick one Okay?

Speaker 2:

You're the boss, boss man.

Speaker 5:

It helps Meeting a Number of people that I've spent not just hours on calls with interesting hours yes, very interesting, dynamic, emotional, transformative hours on zoom. And I Mean when is ever that, when is it this ever happened in modern history where you get to like look at people like that and Connect with them virtually and then show up and there's more than just you know this, this and this they're in 3D now. It's, it's been, it's been very Like the right kind of weird. Yeah, yeah yeah, cool and weird special.

Speaker 1:

It's familiar.

Speaker 5:

You use it like a cheap word. It's, it's, very special. This is um. That's one thing.

Speaker 1:

It cracks me up watching Adam Chin Interact with everybody, you have to give us the play-by-play, because we've been over here. We haven't seen him.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, oh, he's just, he's just. He's. He's very, very much enjoying himself as he does. I mean he's he has the least amount of interaction with any of our coaches than any of us at this table by like an order of magnitude. No, I mean he's he's behind the scenes making sure everything need the lights are on and everything's when it needs to be, and so for him to get these there's the same thing it on it last year for him to get these in-person experiences with people that have been been touched by this work and also work with other people. We just listened to Adam, just got a 10-minute Breakdown of what Kyle Stubbs is doing, you know, which is quite special.

Speaker 1:

We might have to reopen this up for Kyle Stubbs.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean Adam. I mean I knew because, because I do, and this is Adam's first time hearing it, so watching him it's good for him. Yeah, it's very, very good for him to see the human side of this business, or more of the human side of this business, and for him to get some fucking recognition. Man, yeah, there's an in-person handshakes and hugs that doesn't come across in emails, even though people send him emails, so that's very special. I saw the shirt.

Speaker 3:

What's up? I sent him a shirt. Yeah, he still wears it weekly. He told me that.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, and not a hug from Chase in person. There's, there's a difference. Yeah, there's difference. That's that's Susan and Noelle are coming tomorrow.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's very, very cool, that's very cool.

Speaker 5:

That's very cool. I decided yesterday, made the final decision on what I'm gonna present tomorrow, revenueing on it and considering who we have here and um, this is a celebration. I mean, I'm a spoiler, I'm gonna. I'm gonna let three people give them the opportunity. Who would? Who would be shitting bricks up here right now if you had to get up and talk in front of all these people?

Speaker 5:

There's a couple people, yeah, yeah and so if I get three people to raise their hand, I'm gonna have them write that story down and bring them up right in the middle and force it and, and and. On the front end, in the back end, everybody's gonna write a thank you letter to themself and we're gonna force that we haven't done it and talk to them by themselves, by name.

Speaker 5:

So, dear Dave, dear Kimberly, your chase, dear Mark, and and, and we're gonna give ourselves some damn credit, okay, for being brave, because these are not nine to fivers, no, these, these are five to nine, or that's different. Okay, doing their own thing and I'm not a nine to fiver like get up and put hours on the clock betting on myself doing something weird, that's no, very unique. I mean, you all do the same thing, and so I'm gonna pull you up on stage tomorrow and give you a. Let's go, an official. Another one. Shout out in front everybody. I'm gonna bring my niece up. If she'll come up and talk about it's. I spelled her. It was one of my personal wins of the year.

Speaker 5:

So she's about to go to school with Longwood and we're like days away from going. We're down at the bottom. Have I told you this? No, no, and she. So we're down there and we're making a fire and and she goes. I Get to go find my way and I go take out. I took, I go take out the find and put in create and snapped her head like that. I knew I got it.

Speaker 5:

She goes to school two days later and during freshman orientation, gets up in front of the entire freshman class on stage and tells them that she's there to create her way, gets a standing ovation. I'm gonna see if I can get her to come up. I'm gonna get Kyle stuff, so it's gonna be. We're gonna give ourselves a good old-fashioned pat on the back. I'm gonna pull people up that are doing cool stuff. I don't have time to get to everybody. Will's about to get his black belt, so I've been writing people down their names because that's what I want to do. I want this to be exactly what it is. It's just, it's an experience and the lifted take it's a celebration. It's a celebration of some people that have put their poor, their heart, into soul and something that they wanted to do, and they're making it work and and they're they were pro coaching. So it's the intersection of impacting and paying bills and making money.

Speaker 3:

You were the first one to do that for all of us, pour yourself into something and made it work over a long period of time and you know, speaking personally and for everyone here, we're all incredibly thankful for you, yeah, and for what you've done, for all this 100%. Also making it fun for making it fun and doing the Chronicles Just.

Speaker 12:

Thank you for that special that last.

Speaker 5:

My pleasure, man. I, you know, I've told that story twice of Two people like how this, what is this? What is this? Is this a conference? Like no, it's not a conference, we're funding that. How does this happen now? Like well, we could go back to on it, but then we'd have to go back to the lake house. Yeah, I was just up there and then and I did include the story of Mike blood, so and I talking about making a festival and Then waking up the next day and going, no, let's just do some workshops, season courses. So Thank you for saying that and and and just being sounds cheesy to say, being a part of this, you know, because this shoot is a team sport. It's a team sport from all these how many clients if you added up all the clients that people have in this room. So we're just that's a lot of people that are doing this stuff.

Speaker 3:

That that's three degrees of influence in this game, your friends friends, friends. Yeah, that's. Think about the ripples that go out there.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's a little unnerving, honestly.

Speaker 3:

It's a little spooky. Well, I mean, how long until we reached the thousand funky? How long until the the scales tip? How long until the lever is long enough in the folk, in a strong enough that the world is moved good?

Speaker 5:

memory. That's a good question and that can be done. That can be done. That can be done in our lifetime for sure. Somebody asked me what my why was. I got a variety of answers to that. I hadn't used this in a while. I was like I'm gonna make the victim, we're gonna make the victim mentality playing that, playing that out Approximately as cool as littering. Because when that's it, when the victim mentality is approximately as cool as littering, like it's don't, it's done, it's over, it's over. So those are some of the things that I'm looking forward to. I Shoot at Rick's on Saturday, sunday, yeah, I'll be sorry rub it in, I know you're doing it again, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I'll be back.

Speaker 3:

I'll be in Richmond, Illinois. Oh yeah, Well, that's tomorrow Sunday. I'll be it back.

Speaker 5:

You, like everybody, came here from. Somewhere. Yeah, you flew in you air strike it.

Speaker 3:

Look at this. It's been over a year since I saw y'all get this opportunity to air strike, yet it was. It was Austin. And how cool is this to do this at Richmond?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Fucking Sam.

Speaker 8:

Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, he's also he's also saying hey, chase, move the Richmond.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yes, you, but Dave, we talked about this you have to bring.

Speaker 3:

Virginia.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Not Richmond Illinois right Richmond Virginia. Everybody's like hey, this place is a lot cooler than I thought it was. Like you think we're kidding? Yeah, and they don't pull the lunk alarm at Planet Fitness. No, they don't. I'm shocked, dude. How do you see me?

Speaker 1:

in the heads.

Speaker 5:

Meads with your shirts off, grunting and sweating, and that's the first thing I texted this morning.

Speaker 3:

I was like where you guys live, these planet fitness? I said lunk alarm, lunk alarm, lunk alarm.

Speaker 5:

No that's all I said. Is there, anybody in there?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there are people in there.

Speaker 1:

There are people working in front of us because they needed to take off the L and replace it with an H and call it the hunk alarm. Oh.

Speaker 5:

For us that is.

Speaker 1:

That's so you did that mark you created that you're always talking about men's look at all this men's.

Speaker 5:

I'm talking about you, talking about, that's Kimberly. Kimberly Adam and I plot out Kimberly's rain once. It's taken off and everybody like we've got the influence and the amount of disposable income that for her to have a throne and and a homestead. Yeah, and men.

Speaker 1:

I'm so grateful for these amazing men that provide for me in loincloth. Oh, that's good fighting. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, come on out, come on out coming out.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we have. We have one final question for you, but it's it's actually not a question, it's a task. You have to ask us a question.

Speaker 5:

Oh cool.

Speaker 3:

Okay, it could be one to all of us or one for each of us.

Speaker 5:

Is a hot dog, a sandwich oh my god. He got that shit from me.

Speaker 1:

And the consensus was no damn good, it's not a good question.

Speaker 3:

It's okay.

Speaker 5:

Did you all listen to me interview him on his hundredth podcast?

Speaker 2:

I did.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, we had a Very contextualized conversation because you get into tacos like what's the difference between a hot dog and a taco?

Speaker 1:

So is a hot dog a taco? No, could you? Could you could you take? A hot dog is a cousin to a taco and taco is not a sandwich. Could?

Speaker 5:

you take the what a toppings from a taco and put on a hot dog bun and call it a hot dog. Would you do that?

Speaker 1:

the toppings from say it again.

Speaker 5:

No without a hot dog.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so you know the meat, yeah, the bun is like the tortilla but, it's different no.

Speaker 5:

So if you took a hot dog and put it in a?

Speaker 3:

well, wait, this, this is up an interesting point though, because we're referring to a hot dog, is the whole thing, and technically the hot dog is only the Frank. Oh, so a hot dog is not a sandwich. Now, what do we call a hot dog in a bun?

Speaker 5:

It's still hot dog.

Speaker 1:

What about a hamburger? A hamburger is not that different. Is a hamburger sandwich? Hamburger is a taco show.

Speaker 10:

It's a fucking taco.

Speaker 5:

No is a hamburger sandwich, took a hot dog bun and put ground beef in it.

Speaker 1:

Listening this podcast I'm like why are these and look to people so obsessed with hot dogs and sandwiches Because we haven't gotten to an answer.

Speaker 17:

There's not a distinct advance.

Speaker 13:

All right.

Speaker 5:

I'm gonna back up. I can do better. Um, what are you most looking forward to Kimberly for this weekend?

Speaker 1:

So I've answered this a few times and I've said the answers are the same, but it's fun to hear them again. Yeah, sure them with you. So I am looking forward to the moment that I've seen many times over, which is, after breath work is done, shlomo's up there DJing, everybody's dancing through dog wood Dell on a freaking high, and it's just pure bliss. And then the second thing I'm looking forward to is the recap of the whole thing. So once it's all said and done, seeing what happened, what, what happened, what happened and what did people get out of it and what do people say about it, and what type of Momentum does this take to the next one and what do we learn. And all of that because I'm already planning 2024?.

Speaker 3:

Let's go.

Speaker 1:

I've been planning it for at least three weeks.

Speaker 2:

Love it.

Speaker 5:

How about you chops? How about you chops?

Speaker 14:

I'm here's looking great by the way.

Speaker 5:

Thank you in like perfect length, and it's got the nice, the curls in it, you know, but well groomed male.

Speaker 3:

I found a new, a new Shaver of the beard beard guy who his name is DJ, at Parkside Barber shop used to go to Tina and I'll still go to Tina for my hair, but I'm gonna let DJ take care of.

Speaker 5:

Who was that guy that we used to go to?

Speaker 3:

Brandon Brandon the barber. He took an hour, full hour, to do a standard haircut, which I appreciated but for your hair, yeah, I'm a full hour.

Speaker 5:

What is he doing? Like no, he really does do that.

Speaker 3:

Wow, yeah, he really does do that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, that's some attention, it is who cut your hair mark when they left those wings on the side 15 bucks.

Speaker 5:

I told her to leave some party on the sides in the back. Oh well, they listen. They did yeah, yeah, it's like some stuff sticking out yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm looking forward to everybody doing exactly what they're doing having an amazing yeah, yeah, having fun checking out the city Personally, just being able to give everybody that I've seen on the zoom room, you know I'll hug yeah for sure, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I mean, hope that listen. How long do you think the reverberation through COVID lockdown is gonna be going on?

Speaker 3:

and on a long fucking time I'm not sure that it's actually like.

Speaker 1:

I don't. I think there's people who aren't coming back from it Correct, yeah, what happens.

Speaker 5:

Okay, so what is this is? It's not a conference, it's a little bit like rehab, you know, I watch social rehab.

Speaker 1:

I watch. I would say yeah, it's socialized.

Speaker 5:

It's re socializing Social skills. I watched this is up. It doesn't matter where it was, because I Went and did a workshop 18 months into lockdown. We had some of our coaches. There's about 20 people there and.

Speaker 5:

In a circle of about five people. There was One of our coaches female coaches who was just sitting there. She, I'm serious when I'm, like everybody, I'm shaking she was. It was like she just come out of a hard-core ice bath with no training and she goes. I I haven't been around people much lately no one had because we've been on to lockdown and I just I'm staring at that and my fucking bloods boy, okay, and y'all know why, and and I'm just, and then I was also sad man, that's just, she's been at a house, she's, she's seen like three people for a year.

Speaker 3:

We're not meant to be so no. Wasn't there an experiment where they tried to isolate a kid, not let her learn language?

Speaker 8:

So what happened to human children?

Speaker 3:

and they died.

Speaker 9:

Brutal yeah, wow forgot about.

Speaker 5:

I've heard that. Yeah, I've heard that. So this is and this is. This is good, just just on it. Not like any like technical coaching stuff. This is good vibes that everybody's gonna take into their coaching sessions. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's a room full of people who are the largest grandfather clock in the room wherever they are besides her, yeah yeah, yeah, what's up?

Speaker 5:

What's the thing you're most excited about for having come out? And you probably just said it, just give me everybody. Oh yeah, seeing us, and that's me.

Speaker 3:

I got up yesterday like with an extra pep. My stuff, no, it's fine flying down here, nice, I mean, and yes, getting to see everybody getting a, you know shout out to Sarah because she's the one. It's like I got the rehearsal dinner you go. That was yeah, big shout out to say a shout out and, uh, this is I mean this is it right here? This is the game. Young Question was asked earlier. When was the time that you knew him? If it was like the thing for you and I? At first I was like, yeah, during level one done. And Really, when it was the thing for me was after a couple hours, hours at the wake house the first time, shit, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because I was like well, I also held back on my answer because, because this is another question for you too.

Speaker 3:

The, the, the people and like okay, like I knew where it did for me, I knew where I seen the different clients to be in a group of people that it's all people who are so comfortable, like operating as themselves. Yeah and and okay, this shit really works. Can jam chance you want to share? Oh my other, oh the other thing, my other part of my answer well, it was the my first time at the lake house.

Speaker 1:

I had a vision on the dock, and Then it's mostly complete, and then every time I go back to look at another vision. Okay, okay, okay, and then it got spooky when Adam had the same vision six months later that I had the first time.

Speaker 5:

So the, the big-ass parties, the free-for-alls at the lake house, those are over.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they are. No, we're upgrading to the farm.

Speaker 3:

I'm better now.

Speaker 5:

We can have a work retreat there, okay ten people at the lake house.

Speaker 1:

It's like nobody even there. That's, that's weird. It's bug. I don't like that.

Speaker 3:

It's okay, oh 15 people minimum.

Speaker 1:

Every every bed has to have some say we could do it. That's like he knows very well that that answer that was a measured state if you have the address you can get there.

Speaker 5:

Was the next one. Look like Kimmy.

Speaker 1:

So I'm seeing what I think the next one will be is something that we can really you know. This is the.

Speaker 5:

This is the first time we're doing a multiple day event and I'm not talking about the next lake house party, I'm talking about the next in lifted experience.

Speaker 1:

Yeah yeah, exactly that's what I'm answering, right.

Speaker 1:

So this is the first time we're doing in a formal Multi-day event and I think that that is is really powerful, because people want the time together.

Speaker 1:

When we do the one-day workshop, it's like, oh, that was cool, but it's like get in and get out and it doesn't feel as there's not enough time. So what I would love to do next time around is do a full like Immersion experience, and it may mean that it's more people, or it may mean that it's less people, and I'm open to both because I think that there's a magic to making it big, right, and there's also a different type of magic to make it small. So what I'm seeing is is a lot of time to Drop in and to connect and to speak with every you know, speak with as many people as we can and to really make it, make it feel like a fun Party type thing, right. Like I was thinking about this the other day when I received the invitation, the mail from Susan, I was like I want to send them invitations in the mail. I was I want to write them invitations and send it to the mail like it's a wedding.

Speaker 4:

Or a baby shower right, and then I was thinking about how.

Speaker 1:

You know a lot of we've had this conversation many times about different swag and different things that we Can share and put the brand on, and we finally have some great t-shirts and I would love to see journals and I would love to see, you know, like a goodie bag of different things that people could take home with them and the. You know, the stuff that I like when hosting a party of sorts is like make sure you get to talk to everybody, make sure everybody feels super comfortable and happy and welcome, make sure they're well fed and make sure they're set up to have a really good time, and so that's what I think about. I think we've nailed it on this one. Right, we've given, we've given all those opportunities, and I see like the little pieces where I'm like, oh, it could be even special, it could be even more grand, it could have the. You know, I want to see, I want to see, I want to see Adam Rippa shirt off on stage. You know, like Tony.

Speaker 1:

Robbins, I want to see that you keep put that image in my head. I want to see it. I want to see smoke come up behind you as you come out with your tracksuit on.

Speaker 3:

Can I, can I ref a like WWE style battle between you and Adam? That anyway, speaking of stuff like this mark he's thinking about, I also heard that you're hosting.

Speaker 1:

You and big will are hosting a car jujitsu tournament. Yeah it looks dangerous. It is that car insurance covers strangling in the vehicle.

Speaker 3:

I'm a 16 seat. I'm gonna need to pull a big upset on you.

Speaker 1:

Dude, I'm not getting in a car with Brandon Powell and playing cards. You just heard nobody better.

Speaker 3:

That's no. Yeah, that might be next time, who knows?

Speaker 5:

next time. Yeah, we got some time to Stretch on that, yeah, for sure I'm literally like it's, like it's over.

Speaker 1:

And then I start thinking about what type of car like is it the truck? Is it a stand, is it is for?

Speaker 5:

They do that shit, they do that I sent him the video and I was like dude.

Speaker 3:

So we're gonna do it. So we'll set it up one day. What was your?

Speaker 5:

question.

Speaker 3:

Oh, dave and I said a couple high scores in there earlier in there. Yeah, dave said a high score first game he played on a basketball, the highest of the highest score, the highest in the highest room right in that room right over there 235, go beat it. I bet it's not been beaten. I was smoking hot and I hot like a pistol, just Just keep draining them buckets. And then I set the high score three times over on the punching machine.

Speaker 1:

We got some work to do.

Speaker 3:

That face that he made was the same face after I caught him with a jab. Yeah, I got kicked in the head.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah they go. On that right we have we have.

Speaker 1:

We have 19 minutes to go talk to our friends.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 12:

Thanks.
