Same Boat Huddle | For the Overwhelmed Woman Who Wants to Live a Life She Craves
Same Boat Huddle is a place where real women come to have real talk about the overwhelm, anxiety, lack of self care and loss of individual identity. We talk about not falling victim to this way of thinking, changing our lack mindsets into abundance, and discussing real ways to live a life of happiness and joy while living in alignment. It's about challenging the societal norms and stories and showing ourselves that we don't have to live like we're drowning. Erin is a mother and small business owner; she creates these conversations by sharing her own personal experiences and interviewing like minded women. Discussions involve adult conversation and interviews, spirituality, things that are considered woo-woo. It's real and raw talk with brave, strong and inspiring women and stories. My goal is to reach as many women as possible for them to know they are not alone. For them to know that it doesn't have to be or feel so hard. That we can work, create our own business, be a mom a wife and feel energized and healthy and that it doesn't have to feel impossible. Your ratings will help me reach these women. Thank you! xo

Episode 7
In episode 7, I interview my amazing husband, Dustin on his experience of going through my battle of anxiety. About 10 years into our relationship, I was hit with massive anxiety and it took a LOT of work from both of us to come through to the other side. He shares everything he learned in how to support a spouse with anxiety and shares it all. Some of his biggest take aways.
Understanding anxiety isn’t small isolated events but a deeper rooted, long term problem.
Anxiety isn’t a feeling that can be managed in that isolated moment.
Recognizing my triggers and doing what he could to protect me from them so I could continue to focus on my growth and healing.
Recognizing the importance in putting your spouse first during the harder times when it may not feel so easy.
My challenge for you this week is to take the time to recognize how someone else may be feeling who is in your circle and how you can support them. Whether it’s anxiety, depression or simply choosing to live their life a little differently; try and see things from their perspective.
