In this Space Café Radio – SpaceWatch.Global Event coordinator and Space Café Young Global Talents Host Chiara Moenter spoke with Hugo André Costa, member of the Board of Directors at Portuguese Space Agency, in the first week of the Space Studies Program (SSP22) of the International Space University (ISU).

The Space Studies Program is a unique and intense two-month professional development course for postgraduate students and professionals of all disciplines. The programme covers the principal space-related fields, such as policy and law, business and management and humanities to life sciences, engineering, physical sciences, and space applications. Each year the Space Studies Program is held in a different location and this year the SSP22 is held in Oeiras, Portugal with the host institutions being Portugal Space and Técnico Lisboa.

In this episode, Hugo André Costa talks with us about his journey with ISU, Portugal's journey to space and the unique opportunities that the SSP22 participants will have during their nine weeks in Oeiras.
