I’m just going to say it—some of the advice we’re listening to right now… we need to start considering the source.

Because it’s really easy to hear someone talk about motherhood, success, or balance and start questioning yourself. Am I doing too much? Not enough? Should I want more?

But not every perspective is meant for your life.

In this episode, I’m talking about what it means to step back and ask: who is this advice actually for? Because the reality is, a lot of what we hear—about work, parenting, and even our bodies—is coming from people living completely different lives, with completely different priorities and support systems.

And while we’re trying to keep up with all of that, we’re also trying to fix our bodies at the same time. Lose weight. Look a certain way. Feel confident. Do it all.

At some point, you have to pause and ask:

What do I actually want my life to look like?

Not what sounds impressive.
Not what works for someone else.
Not what you think you should want.

I’m sharing my perspective on choosing a life that fits me, why I’m okay where I’m at, and how chasing a “better body” and a “better life” at the same time can keep you stuck if you’re not careful.

You don’t have to follow every piece of advice you hear.
You don’t have to want more just because someone else does.
And you don’t need a different body to start living your life.

You just need to decide what’s actually right for you.
