Mona Evan

Mona Evan is of Tlingit, Haida, Yupik, and Iñupiaq descent. On her Tlingit side she is Raven Kaach.adi, Fresh Water-marked Sockeye Salmon.  Her Tlingit name is Kaalk'in. Mona was born and raised in Kéex' Kwáan (Kake), Alaska.  She was raised predominantly in the Tlingit culture with a heavy Haida influence.  Mona serves as the Higher Education Coordinator for the Organized Village of Kake and is a member of the board of directors for Kake Tribal ANSCA Corporation.

Sarah Campen

Sarah Campen is an Alaskan multi-media artist.  She builds choreographic works, audio stories, interactive installations, and community-engaged civic arts pieces.  Sarah grew up in Sitka and on Killisnoo Island.  She now lives on Taas Daa (Lemesurier Island) in Icy Strait, within Huna Tlingit territory.  She is grateful to be a lifelong guest in Tlingit Aaní, and to make her home in Xunaa Káawu.
