The Paper Girls Show

With all the strife in our world today, we can feel helpless and do not know what to do. But together, we can make a difference. We can send peace to those who need it. We can all do our little part to make this earth a more peaceful planet. Sit for a few minutes and allow your breath to blanket our earth in peace.

Mindfulness is an important theme in 'The Paper Girls Show'. Together with "Making" and "Mistakes", they create the "3 M's of The Paper Girls Show", which serve as the series' pillars. "Make things Mindfully – don't sweat your Mistakes", as our mantra goes!
 
The goal of this series is to help guide children through mindful breathing techniques, visualizations, and positive affirmations to use throughout the day when needed.

Our practices contain:

😊 Positive affirmations for kids
🧠 Visualizations for kids

Welcome, friends.

Today, we're going on a special journey. We're going to learn how to understand and care for others all around the world. Are you ready? Let's begin.

Let's think about people everywhere, and wish for them to feel happy and peaceful.

We know that sometimes, people and places face difficult times. Let's take a moment to think about them and hope they find happiness.

Inside our hearts, we have lots of kind and caring feelings. We can imagine sharing these with everyone.

Picture in your mind sending your kindest thoughts to people who might be sad or need a smile.

Let us settle into a comfortable spot on the floor or chair.

Feel free to close your eyes or rest your gaze on the floor below or sky above.

Take a deep breath in through your nose, as if you are smelling a flower, and exhale that breath out of your mouth.

Take another deep breath in through your nose, and slowly exhale out of your mouth.

One more time, deep breath in through your nose, and slowly exhale out of your mouth.

Imagine you're looking at a huge ball, like a globe. This is our Earth, with its blue oceans, green forests, and snowy mountains.

Now, think about how you feel when you're happy and calm. That's the peaceful feeling in your heart.

Imagine this peaceful feeling as a warm, glowing light in your heart, making you feel safe and loved.

Take a deep breath in through your nose, and exhale that peace out from your heart into the space you are in, whether that is home, a classroom, outside.

Again, another deep breath in through your nose, and exhale that breath, and peace from your heart, into further space around you, bringing peace to those around you.

Take another deep breath in, and this time exhale the peace out to your entire neighborhood and community.

Let that peace move through your entire city, your entire country.

Take another breath in and breathe it out spreading peace throughout the entire world.

Take another deep breath in and as you exhale, allow your peace to blanket the earth, as you exhale.

And just allow that peace to settle in, to blanket and settle on our earth; blanketing all beings.

Filling the hearts of all who are on earth, with peace.

Just sit for a few moments with your blanket of peace, around the earth.

Feel your body breathe, and sit in peace.

Take a long, slow, deep breath in, and exhale it out blanketing our world in peace.

Place your hand over your heart if you are able to, and give thanks for your sit today, spreading peace throughout the world with your love and breath. May peace surround you always.
