Be Kind to the Earth - 5 Minute Meditation for Kids
In this gentle, 5-minute guided meditation, children are invited to slow down, breathe, and reflect on how small acts of kindness—like picking up litter or turning off lights—can help care for the Earth and each other. Be Kind to the Earth nurtures empathy, mindfulness, and a sense of connection to the natural world.
Mindfulness is an important theme in 'The Paper Girls Show'. Together with "Making" and "Mistakes", they create the "3 M's of The Paper Girls Show", which serve as the series' pillars. "Make things Mindfully – don't sweat your Mistakes", as our mantra goes!

This is a quiet moment to think about how we care for the Earth and for each other.
The Earth is our home.
It gives us air to breathe, water to drink, and places to play and explore.
We share this planet with animals, plants, and people.
And we can help take care of it—together.
We help the Earth when we pick up litter, plant a flower, or turn off lights we don’t need.
We help each other by sharing, listening, and being kind.
When we care for the Earth and for people, we make the world a better place.
Now, let’s take a moment to feel calm and connected.
Find a comfortable spot to sit or lie down.
If you’d like, you can close your eyes. Or just look gently at the floor or the sky.
Let’s take a deep breath in through your nose... and let it out slowly through your mouth.
Again, take a breath in through your nose... and slowly blow it out.
Now let your body breathe just how it wants to.
Feel the air going in… and out.
Can you feel your chest rise and fall?
Just notice your breath for a few quiet moments.
Now let’s think some kind thoughts in our mind—like a whisper to yourself.
I care for the Earth.
I help people and animals.
My actions matter.
I am part of this beautiful world.
Take one more deep breath in… and slowly let it out.
You are calm. You are kind. You are a helper.
The Earth is happy you’re here.
