A few years back I started on an unintentional faith journey. Well, actually, it was a journey to understand better what faith really is. Along the way I collected many quotes about faith. I want to share a few with you.

I'm jamielynn Stephan and this is what to wanted. Episode number 121. My favorite face quotes. Welcome to want to want it a podcast for women of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints who are ready to ignite not only their sexual desire, but all of their desires to create a more fulfilling life and marriage. I'm jamielynn Stephan. I'm a certified life coach, a wife, and a mother of seven children. I'm excited to share my personal journey to desire with you and teach you how to desire more as well Happy Tuesday, everybody. Welcome to today's episode of want to want it. A few years ago, as many of you know, because I've shared on this podcast, I went doubt free for a month. Well, okay. I attempted to go doubt free for a month. And during that month, the thing that helped me keep on track was when doubt would creep in, I would ask myself, what would faith say about this? And then I would require myself to answer that question. And so this desire to go doubt free, actually sent me on a journey to discover faith, to learn what it really was, how to access it, how to have more of it. And so I started to read and learn and I ended up gathering quotes about faith. That really inspired me. So today I'm going to share just a few of them with you. Not all of them. Um, but just some of them, I hope it will be helpful for you. I will probably give a little commentary around some of it, but hopefully not too much. I think many of them speak for themselves. And I want to say before I begin that in the world of faith and manifesting and aligning myself with God. I am a baby at this. I am not an expert at all. There are. Way better people out there who could teach you better than I can be more helpful to you when it comes to faith. But I hope that at least one of these quotes helps you a little bit on your journey. I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. We talk a lot about faith. We have a lot of talks about faith. Um, I don't really have a lot of quotes. I think I might have one quote from one of our prophets and apostles that I'm using today. Um, I think I could probably do a whole nother episode on this, but this is what I'm going to share with you today. We'll see how it goes. Okay. The first thing I want to share with you is this quote that I have no idea where it came from. I just heard it one day and it really struck me. And it is. Believing is seeing. Now I've always been taught that seeing is believing, but this quote taught me that. Believing is seeing. That seeing something first in your mind, seeing it spiritually first, and it kind of goes along with the scripture from Hebrews chapter 11, verse one that says now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things, not seen. Right. Hoping for it means you see it in your mind, even before it is physically manifested, it's created in your mind first. And then you see it come to pass. Michelangelo said. I saw the angel in the marble and I carved until I set him free. Right. So it's this. I can see it before it's actually physically before me. So believing is seeing, reminds me that I have to see it and believe it mentally and emotionally and align my belief with it, for it to actually be manifested in my life. So believing is seeing. This next one is from Florence Shinn. She's an American author and she says, faith knows it has already received. And acts accordingly. I love this one because how would we feel if we were really believing that what we're waiting for, we already had it already had come to us. If we already were acting like it was there, what would that be like? You would step into being the person who already has that thing. And then you really can align yourself with the thing you're trying to have faith in. Another one that I heard is things are going my way. And I love this because it's super similar to something that I'll say like, this is exactly how this was supposed to go. And I love it because it's an act of faith to say this. It's an act of faith to say, things are going my way, but when you practice it, you will find out how true it is and how life-changing it is. More and more things actually start to go your way. It is crazy. This quotes from Leslie householders. She says when it appears that nothing is happening. God is up to something. This reminds me that faith requires patience and reliance on God's timing. So when it appears that nothing is happening, God is up to something. A while ago, I read the book called super attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein and she has so many great thoughts on faith and how to have more faith and how to use faith. So the next several quotes are just from her book. Okay. So the first one is this. The universe is always saying yes to your thoughts, energy and emotions. Think about that for a minute. Okay. What are you putting out there? Because it's for sure. Coming back to you, the universe says yes to all of it. And when you think about that, it makes you want to put way more positivity out there, way more big dreams, way more happy things, right. What, what you're putting out is going to come back to you. Another one she has is faith. Isn't hoping that God will help you. Faith is knowing that help is on the way. Faith. Isn't hoping that God will help you. Faith is knowing that help is on the way. Act as if, and you will be led. This one totally goes along with the one from Florence, Jen, where she says faith knows it has already received an app's accordingly. Right? So act as if, and you will be led act as if you have what you want and you will be led to it. This next one is my absolute favorite one. It's one that I have been using now for a while. I share with other people. I love it so much. This or something better. So it's really praying, saying, this is what I want, God, this is what I'm hoping for. This is the thing that I am having faith in. Or something better. It's this surrender of you actually know what's best. When I pray for something, I try to remember to add this to the end, right. This or something better. God. It's so good for me because it opens me up to remembering God has a better plan than me. A lot of the time he's got better ideas. He actually knows what's best for me. And he is always going to give me this or something better. And this is life changing because then when things aren't happening exactly how I hope I start to watch for how it is actually better. Here's another one. The more you believe in the support of God, the more you will receive. She also says be in the positive expectation of what is coming. Again, it's back to that notion of things hoped for. That's being in positive expectation of what is coming and I love it. Here's another one from her. There is a force of love within you. Now, for me in the middle of this quote, I'm going to say, I think it's the holy ghost. There is a force of love within you and around you supporting your every move. The way to access this force is to simply get out of the way. As long as you're relying on your will your plans and your timeline you'll feel blocked and fearful, stressed in the present, worried about the future unsure of decisions and so on. But the moment you let go and allow an energy of support will take over. This is something she'd said talking about one of her own personal experiences. She said, I let it go and allowed God to do his thing. Instead of obsessing or trying to force anything. I turned over my goal to the care of God. I knew that everything would unfold exactly as it should. I focused instead on being of service every day of spreading my message and helping more people, I was certain that whatever happened would be for the highest good, which made it easy to be patient. She says those who are certain of the outcome can afford to wait and wait without anxiety. Right. That's faith. It's just this certainty that the outcome is going to come this or something better. And I can wait without anxiety. Love it. When you connect to the feeling of knowing that whatever is of the highest good is coming to you, then you can relax and trust it's on the way. It's not so good to think about. This is what I want, but I just know that whatever is of the highest good is going to come to me, that is faith. And then you just get to step into that trust and relax. Remember Gabby Bernstein says, remember your plan is not always the best plan. So good. So I love those are some of my favorites from Gabby Bernstein. I love them so much. This last one I want to share comes from elder Patrick Kiran. He says, Jesus specializes in the seemingly impossible. Think about that for a little while, because I really do think that true faith centered in Jesus Christ. Brings about. Seemingly impossible things into our lives. I know I could have gone longer. Thank you for listening. Just to this short little episode, I hope that one of these was helpful for you and that you will have a great faith filled doubt free week. This or something better. Bye everyone.
