Mala: Diosa, do you ever feel like you need to tone down your sexy?

Diosa: Yeah, absolutely! Sometimes I feel myself shying away from my sexuality and I think it’s because of… you know… years of slutshaming and the pressure to be una niña buena…

Mala: I realized the other day that I dress myself down to avoid unwanted attention.

Diosa: Oh my god, me too! Which is so unfortunate because really when you look good you feel good.

Mala: I totally agree. And you know what? In the face of all this pressure and expectation, why don’t we take a moment to celebrate our sexy? 

Diosa: I think it’s time for some affirmations! Let’s celebrate our bodies, our sexual pleasure, and all the beautiful ways those two things work together to make us feel good. 

Mala: Yes! It’s time that we define sexy for ourselves.

Diosa: And enjoy our bodies for ourselves. Because I enjoy doing things that make me feel good about MY body.

Mala: Girl, me too! Like putting on a good song, looking at myself in the mirror…

Diosa: And taking a selfie.

Mala: Or hitting a good body roll!

Mala: Anything that helps me reconnect with my body and dressing myself up 

however the hell I choose…

Diosa: That’s some serious power because sometimes in an effort to be seen as more than just sexual objects, we can forget that we are sexual beings…

Mala: …and there is nothing wrong with that. Nothing at all so let’s take this time together to love on ourselves…

Mala: It is my divine right to receive pleasure. 

Diosa: Every time I choose to show up in my body, just as it is, I am leading my own revolution.

Mala: I have the right to ask my partners for the sex I want.

Diosa: My body and I are in perfect harmony. 

Mala: I do not have to fit into any preconceived notions about what’s “sexy” 

Diosa: I deserve to feel worshiped, honored and admired. 

Mala: My partner’s pleasure is not more important than my own.

Diosa: I deserve to have fulfilling and satisfying sex.
