A lone wolf, Simpson published a bunch of commercially successful novels way back when. The publishing biz battered him into submission so he quit writing and became a white water rafting guide on the Colorado, then a history teacher, then a trainer, and finally back to writing full-time—poetry, stories, novels. This is his first crack at a podcast and so performs the roles of writer, narrator, sound engineer, mixer, gofer, and critic.
