Katie Wrigley: Thank you so much for joining me today. I know you have your choice of a lot of different things to listen to on the internet, and I am psyched that you chose to come here and listen to this episode.

So as I mentioned in the intro, I realized that I was actually missing the mark on messaging. I am constantly iterating and trying to change the messaging out there to figure out how to really succinctly and accurately speak to what I'm doing in ways that I can help. And what I realized is no one wants to talk about stress and anxiety, myself included. Even like thinking about it, I can start to feel my body
[00:02:00] trying to get more stressed out again, instead of being relaxed and in flow like it was when I popped on this episode to record it. Just thinking the word stress. And so if I'm thinking that, you are probably thinking that too. So we're not gonna be talking about that anymore.
You may be stressed. You may be anxious. We will deal with that. But that's not the focus.
And so what I did is I really looked at who's coming to get help with me over the past several years since I've been doing this. And as I looked at the clients that came in, and I have been blessed with the most amazing people that I've gotten to work with.
So there is a mix.
There are some first responders, especially police officers. I love working with my police officers. You guys follow directions so well, and I love hearing how much better you're feeling after a session, especially with the sleep. That tends to be the
[00:03:00] biggest thing that I hear with my police officers.
The other big part - the most people that come to me are all business owners. I'd say probably about 90% of my clientele are current business owners or have owned a business, and are considering going back into business again. And so I really started to distill down what am I doing? Because it looks different with each person.
But what I realized, whether you're looking at pain, whether you're looking at a desire to do more healing, what we're actually looking at, is a physical manifestation of various different subconscious blocks that are holding you back from where you want to be.
And I'm not saying that pain alone is a subconscious block. There is so much that goes into pain.
I'm thinking actually of a client that I worked
[00:04:00] with specifically who had actually been in a pretty gnarly car accident, and it created that pain. Through the work that we did together, we were able to lower that pain to a much more manageable level that allowed her to feel confident to go into a different area of business. She had had to shut down her business, and she had absolutely been heartbroken by needing to do it. But then she shifted directions and now she's thriving. And she went from excruciating pain. In sweats all the time. Didn't wanna leave her house. And in less than a year of working together, and by the way, financial stress was her biggest source of stress. And in less than a year of working together, we worked together for nine months, she completely shifted gears and was creating generational wealth for her kids and beyond.
That's one of my favorite success stories.
But I realized at the core of it, that's what I'm doing.
[00:05:00] I'm helping business owners remove the blocks that are keeping them, keeping you from the levels that you wanna go to.
And this looks different for everybody. With some people it looks like a chronic stress pattern. With others, it looks like the inability to sit still or to slow down. All of these are signs from your nervous system that are trying to tell you something and you just aren't tuning into it yet. Chances are because you haven't been taught to, you don't know how to, I certainly didn't before I was taught to.
So how do you know when you have a subconscious block? How do you know? I mean, it's underneath the surface of your conscious mind. So how do you know?
If you have pain. If you're having trouble sleeping. If your nervous system's telling you that you have to keep going all the time.
[00:06:00] If you are constantly feeling frustrated. If you feel like you are stuck. If you feel like everybody else is getting ahead and you're not, or that everybody else has something figured out that you haven't figured out.
This is a subset of signs that there is something in your nervous system that is holding you back. Something in the subconscious level that's holding you back.
And when you think about it, we get training for everything, right? We get training for our jobs. A lot of us have gone and gotten formal education, a degree. We train our bodies. We train ourselves for a lot of different things. But how many people are actually talking about training the nervous system?
This is a piece of what we're doing. So with the work that I do with clients, whether it's in a group setting or it's in a one-on-one setting, what
[00:07:00] we are doing is we're teaching the nervous system how to be regulated. We're teaching it how to let go of the things that are holding back and be able to shift perspectives. We're teaching it how to be optimized, and we do this through a couple of different tools.
So how does this process work? It is super easy.
Step one, you book a call with me and we have a chat. It is a no pressure chat, and you don't have to come in spilling your heart open and telling me all the things that are keeping you awake at night. Give me time to earn your trust. You don't have to come in. It's not talk therapy. A lot of people feel like it is, but it's not. You can come in and you can share as much as you're willing to share with me. I always invite anybody to share whatever they want with me, and I also invite you to keep private, whatever you wanna keep private.
I'm gonna ask you different
[00:08:00] questions. Through that conversation, we're gonna be able to figure out where some of these pieces are working against you and which blocks are coming up.
Then we do some sessions together and we remove those blocks. That's step two. Do the sessions.
Step three, you skyrocket.
That's it. It is that easy. You have a call with me. We decide if we're fit. We go ahead. We sign you up for some sessions and then you take off.
And a lot of times this work can be done with very few sessions. Four actually tends to be the most common, and some people renew or they decide to go at a different pace after that, to continue to have that ongoing support, to continue to have that ongoing training as their nervous system is learning a different way of being.
And there's different things that we
[00:09:00] can throw in there to keep it interesting, to keep it top of mind, to keep you moving forward in the direction that you wanna go.
When you have that regulated nervous system, everything changes. Those clients that you wanna have come in to help grow your business suddenly they just start coming in. And I've experienced this directly, so not just talking about a, maybe. I've seen this with myself and I've seen it with client after client, after client. When we have broken through some of those blocks, things just open up and start flowing. It's absolutely incredible to witness over and over again. I've seen this.
So I'll give you an example. A good friend of mine who actually we had done trades together. He does some really amazing work out there as well, and he has given me permission to use his name. So my friend Ryan and I, we did some trades earlier this year. He does hypnosis and he has this
[00:10:00] amazing protocol that he uses, and then I do cognomovement. And the two modalities are actually very complimentary. And what was incredible though was with work with Ryan, he realized he's done all these things for other people, but he needed a him to do that deeper work on himself. And so he's taught me a little bit of his intellectual property to be able to help him do those core shifts, which I've been able to do in cognomovement for other people.
One of the things that Ryan wanted to do was get the real science behind what he's doing because he can change your whole life, no joke, in like three hypnosis sessions, which is amazing. Like I can do a lot in cognomovement. I can change your whole life in about four cognomovement sessions.
The ball is part of what I'm doing to help you shift. He uses language and he uses hypnosis. He wanted the
[00:11:00] science to show the power behind what he's doing it. And he thought it was gonna take him 10 years to be able to get out there. We worked on various different pieces that he felt were blocking him, and he was able to take these from the subconscious, bring 'em into the conscious. Sometimes there were big epiphanies on our calls together. Other times he would come to me with a big epiphany. But at any rate, we worked through all those layers and his 10 year plan is happening right now. He is in the middle of putting together his hypothesis and he is getting funding through his mentors to be able to create a massive research project, which I am psyched. I can't talk anymore about it past that, but it is amazing. But watching him shift his tenure timeline forward.
Cases like Ryan, these are actually a norm in my world. I see it all the time. So it is that
[00:12:00] easy, and I am super, super excited to have this renewed focus. And I can't even say it's a renewed focus, it's just focusing on the part that you actually care about - the outcome. The more fluid business. The being in financial abundance. Better health. Higher levels of energy. All of these things become possible when your nervous system is regulated.
You can have all of the things that you've been looking for in your life. The highs get higher and the lows are higher. Everything is higher, and you get through the lows so much faster. And when you do have those rare moments, when something's tripping you up even more, you're gonna be learning the tools to pull yourself out of that so much faster.
