Show Notes

This episode of The Mama Psychedelia Podcast is with Chloe Skerlak, a Justisse Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner and Certified Full Spectrum Fertility Awareness Educator. This episode goes beyond personal story telling, and is deeply educational for menstruating folks and those who wish to better under our cyclical nature and the power that it holds.

Infused with joy, laughter, and play, Chloe teaches fertility awareness education to women and people with cycles so they may regain their sexual and reproductive sovereignty, become advocates for their own health, and live vibrant, healthy lives. She is also the founder of the Cervix Portrait Party (yes - taking photos of your cervix is a thing!) and is passionate about teaching body literacy to pre-teens and teens. Chloe also loves salsa dancing, full moon bathing, and playing the ukulele.

Together we dive in to all the juicy details of the cycle. Fertility Awareness for hormonal free contraception, body literacy, as well as how it can be used for intentionally conceiving. We touch on menarche to menopause, how fertility tracking is taking your sexual health and "birth control" into your own hands. We talk about the reality of abortion laws, and emergency contraception measures, as well as the inner seasons of the cycle, how to leverage your energy and awareness when you are most vital, and how connected we are to the rhythms of the moon. I love this episode and love what Chloe stands for. Check it out.
