Now there are few days while the remaining five have to go into the jungle and carry out a lot of undesirable tasks. Or, the metaphor I prefer, to take part in a series of beauty contests.
You will remember, the front runner is Rishi Sunak. Then there’s the surprise second favourite, Penny Mordaunt, followed by the drifting Liz Truss, and the two hangers-on Kemi B and Major Tom. They will all be wrapped in their policy pitches for the Beauty Parades, with attention paid by the judges to both costume and wearer. ..
