Katie Rooney

Katie Rooney is the Chief marketing Officer of USCF and brings over 25 years of experience in the fund industry.  Ms. Rooney is responsible for marketing, brand management and overall product distribution.  She has been with the company since inception and previously served as National Sales Director.  Prior to joining USCF Ms. Rooney was Director of Business Development for the Ameristock Mutual Fund.  She also served as national Sales Director for ALPS Mutual Fund Services and as a Trust Officer for Fifth Third Bank.  Ms. Rooney received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Art History from Wellesley College.  She holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as a NFA Series 3 registration.  Katie is a registered representative of ALPS Distributors, Inc.

Maya Lowry

Maya Lowry is the Head of Distribution for USCF.  Maya has over 25 years of experience in asset management and is responsible for expanding the firm's distribution and business development efforts.  Prior to joining USCF, Maya was at Brandis Investment Partners where she served as National Accounts Manager, Associate Portfolio Manager and Product Coordinator for the Small Cap and Canadian Portfolios.  Maya received her BSBA in Finance from San Diego State University.  She holds a Series 3 registration with the NFA as well as FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.  Maya is a registered representative of ALPS Distributors, Inc.

John Love

John P. Love is President and Chief Executive Officer of USCF, a Walnut Creek, California based investment firm. Mr. Love previously served as Senior Portfolio Manager for USCF’s products, including the United States Oil Fund (USO) and United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG), the largest oil and natural gas ETFs in the U.S. Since USCF’s founding, Mr. Love has contributed to the firm’s evolution through operations, trading, research, product development, marketing, capital markets, and more. Mr. Love is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He holds NFA Series 3, 30 and FINRA Series 7, 63 registrations and is a CFA Charterholder.

Kevin Baum

Kevin brings 20+ years of experience as a Senior Commodities Portfolio Manager. Kevin is responsible for expanding USCF’s product line and overseeing the USCF’s investment policies and portfolio management team. Prior to joining USCF, he was Senior Portfolio Manager of Alternatives & Commodities for Invesco PowerShares. Kevin was on the Oppenheimer team responsible for launching the first commodities mutual fund and subsequently incorporated the first off-shore Cayman subsidiary for a commodities fund. Kevin also served as Senior Portfolio Manager, head of Commodities and earned the Barron’s/Value Line “Top 100 Managers” designation three times. Kevin is a CFA Charterholder and CAIA Charterholder. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas Tech University. He is registered with FINRA for Series 7, 63 and NFA for Series 3 and completed his Swaps Proficiency Requirements. Kevin is a Registered Representative of ALPS Distributors, Inc.

Kurt Nelson

Kurt is a Founding Partner of SummerHaven and serves as Managing Partner. Previously, he was Head of the Commodity Index business at UBS Investment Bank. He was a member of the Supervisory Committee for both the DJ-UBS Commodity Index (now known as the Bloomberg Commodity Index) and the UBS Bloomberg CMCI Index. Kurt was also responsible for launching the UBS Exchange-traded note platform (E-TRACS). Prior to UBS, Kurt created and managed the high net worth business for AIG Financial Products, and he also provided equity derivative and commodity index solutions for US corporations, institutional investors and principal dealers.

Kurt served in U.S. Navy Intelligence from 1988-1992, and he received his B.S. in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary.
