The WE Pivot Podcast
The Social Media Content Generator That Helped Me Finally Post Consistently
Have you ever stared at your screen, knowing you should be posting but having no idea what to say?
Same.
I’m Tona, and I’m back after hitting reset on my business, my website, and this podcast. In this episode, I’m sharing why I stepped away, how comparison held me back, and the tool I built that finally helped me show up online without overthinking every post.
This isn’t just another “use AI” pep talk. It’s my real story of feeling overwhelmed and inconsistent and how creating my own social media content generator changed everything for me.
If you have been struggling to stay visible, keep your voice authentic, or write content that connects, this episode is for you.
I hope this reminds you that it is never too late to start fresh.

Tona:Hey friend, it's Tona and I'm back. I know it's been a minute and the truth is I had a website, I had this podcast, but it really wasn't maximizing their potential, if you know what I mean. I wasn't showing up consistently, not because I didn't want to, but because, as a multi-passionate entrepreneur, other things kept taking priority. You know how that is the things that you thought you should be working on, but something else replaces it, because it's of more importance. Something always seemed to come up all the time that just seemed to take a little bit more of my attention. Can you relate? And the funny thing is I was still doing interviews with people. I'd record them, save them, but they'd just sit there because getting them edited and released kept getting pushed to the side.
Tona:But then something shifted. The Lord gave my husband and me this idea shifted. The Lord gave my husband and me this idea why not take everything we've learned and turn it into short, simple, powerful videos? And at first it made so much sense we were excited until it got overwhelming. Hence the reason why I stopped the podcast, but I did it. I actually finished the first one and I had a homework assignment all baked into this beautiful one course that seemed to take a long time to get completed. But then I started thinking what if the people who are doing this course, or going through the course, don't even know how to do the things I assigned? What if they don't know how to create a lead magnet or figure out who their audience really is? And that led me down a whole other rabbit hole. So you know what I ended up doing. I built my own custom GPT. At first it was just to help solve the homework problem in my courses, but as I kept testing it, I realized it was bigger than that. People don't just need help with strategy, they need help with the words. They need help figuring out what to say in the emails and what to post on social media. So I created a tool that helps with that problem too. It helps you think and write with clarity in your own voice, without all the second guessing. You know what I mean, the second guessing when you type something and then you get ready to post it and you're like man, should I have said it that way? Or maybe I could say it another way, or maybe I shouldn't even post it at all.
Tona:Now, when it came to the website, I knew it needed more than a facelift. It needed our voice, because my husband and I, we've been doing this work since 2014. From building mobile apps, coaching, writing blogs, running marketing campaigns, creating websites but our old site which really wasn't that old, to be honest it really didn't reflect any of that and, honestly, it's because we had been so busy comparing ourselves to other people, trying to match their tone instead of our own. Listen, I know some people might say well, I already have ChatGPT and that's fine. But let me ask you something how many emails have you actually written with it Exactly?
Tona:This isn't just about having access to AI. It's about follow-through, about staying consistent, because now the tool works with you, not against you. It speaks in your own voice. It helps you actually get things done, not just thinking about doing it. I want you to feel like man, I missed her. I'm so glad she's back and I want you to know that if you've been feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I see you. I've been there, but I'm not coming back with more information. I'm showing up with more intention, with strategy and tools that actually help. But even if someone else sells something similar. Even if someone else sells something similar, they're not me.
Tona:I teach differently, I speak differently, and sometimes that's exactly what someone needs. I remember being a biology teacher. I had students who already took my class sneak back in just to sit through it again because they enjoyed it that much. But guess what? I always saw them. I saw them in the back, trying, so they didn't get very far. But that's what I want this space to be for you A place where you just can't get enough.
Tona:You can't get enough of the podcast, of listening. You can't get enough of the emails that we send to encourage and not only to encourage, but to sometimes give strategy and to also showcase our offers too. That might just help you take the next step in getting the thing done that you may have been procrastinating on. So if you remember one thing from today, when all the pieces finally fit, don't be afraid to start over.
