Ending Physician Overwhelm
I'm Megan Melo, board-certified Family and Obesity Medicine Physician and Physician Coach. In this podcast we talk about the many ways that burnout shows up in our lives, and what we can do about it. I'm on a mission to help Physicians take steps towards to heal burnout by unlearning the habits of perfectionism, people-pleasing and limiting beliefs so that we can lead healthier, happier lives.
The healthcare system is broken; but you don't have to wait until it's fixed to feel better. I'm here to help.

My guest today is Dr Cindy Croy, a fellow Family Medicine Physician, who has the perspective of working as a PCP in an employed position, as a small Private Practice owner, as well as forays into Direct Primary Care models. She talks today about her experience of not only shaping her career to fit her life, but also choosing to transition out of medicine when it was no longer a good fit. She now works as a Clinical Expert Consultant for a healthcare-tech company, and started her own YouTube Channel where she shares recipes and teaches people how to cook.
